What a wonderful experience not only to see a little peek into the olden days but to finally see and experience The Riddle House, which was featured on many networks. I can check this show off my bucket list. I'll also be back to check the many paranormal hot spots such as the school house, pineapple prices room, church, and of course The Riddle House. I can only suggest a few improvements...food and drink element needs to be offered, add items in gift shop featuring your biggest draw The Riddle House and advertisement for this place is severely lacking.

a really good organization. It is traditionally done and you should definitely come. It allows you to spend a wonderful day for the children and you. Thank you to everyone who is organizing. but I have a small note; You should reach this organization to a wider audience.

Yesteryear village, is a quaint little museum area of the South Florida fairgrounds.

I can spend more time there, than the rest of the fair.

It's nice and shady, the buildings are all old and traditional, they have museums in each one so you can go in and talk to the curators and they will explain everything.

There's beautiful shade trees. They always have food trucks right there, it's got to be the most laid-back part of the whole fair, and great on a hot day because of all the shade.

Sometimes they even have smaller concerts over there, I've seen several bluegrass shows that are only at the yesteryear village.

Oftentimes they will even have historical displays, for instance, making sugar cane into sugar right before your eyes and letting the kids turn the crank and taste the sugar, etc

Amazing first visit! Definitely recommend. Jim at The Riddle House was awesome. He provided a walkthrough of the house. His explanation and knowledge really brought you back in time. The ladies that showed us the butter making OMG it was delicious.. Made me want to come home and make my own. Overall wonderful experience and will be coming back again.

Very nice place to take the family and go back in time, learn about history and how things started here in Florida.

There are several replicas of buildings from the early 1700’s, 1800’s and some original buildings that were transferred there, which includes an old school,, a general store, blacksmith shop and other houses. They have a museum too, a general store for shopping and a lot of information to learn about the early days in Florida.

We visited for Halloween, and in each station (house) they had candy for the kids, and they had a booklet to stamp with each stop to collect a big prize at the end.
It was very entertaining and we learned a lot!
I was transported in time specially at the old school!

U.B.Kinsey/Palmview Elementary 4th and 5th grade artists spent a wonderful day here. Their field trip experience not only allowed them to draw and paint pictures of the buildings, but they were allowed to go inside many of them as well.

We enjoyed this place very much. We spent about 3 hrs and we were amused about how much things have changed since those old days. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

This is a wonderful hidden gem in West Palm-close to Royal Palm Beach at the S FL fairgrounds. Took my elementary age kids there and it was a blast. Love that we were able to walk at our leisure and most places we walked through without a guide. Some of the buildings have a guide which is great to be able to ask them questions. Come expecting to be there at least 2 hours because there is so much to see! Every building is a museum in and of itself with authentic era pieces. There’s a general store where you can buy treats and gifts. We ended the day at the fire house and my son got to climb up on an old fire truck. Take your family-worth every penny!

It is truly a special, unique, and wonderful place for the entire family. We absolutely love this hidden gem as it offers endless amounts of focus on historical aspects that would otherwise be lost to the younger generations. It has tons of shade trees, events, friendly staff & volunteers too.
