Let’s start with the basics. Super easy to find. I flew in from Medellin Colombia. So yes I had been up a while and I was tired when I arrived. The young lady who checked me in was so kind. Caroline is from Cuba and she was so patient and thoughtful. I saw her help a couple before checking me in. Caroline is the consummate professional. Her smile was honest as was our interaction That is not always the case when some employees know that you are traveling and have been up for an extended period. Such as my Budget rental car transaction going from $300 to $750 because I trusted without verification. This Sonesta hotel Miami Lakes I would highly recommend. My room had a king size bed which was very comfortable. The room itself was lovely, clean and very inviting. There is ample parking for a very fair $5 a night. I cannot share information about the gym this hotel has. If I shared pictures of the gym you would make plans to visit tomorrow and I can’t have that. This place is magic. Doubt my words. See the gym and tell me I’m wrong. I have never gotten a better value from Hotwire. I have hotwired hotel rooms from Honolulu, San Francisco, Dallas, Manhattan, Vegas and lots of places that are usually fun, expensive and very nice. This Sonesta Select Miami Lakes is as nice as or better than any Sonesta in Philadelphia or any Hilton or Hyatt or any other hotel I’ve stayed at when a Fortune 500 employer footed the bill. Vanessa the General Manager will go above and beyond to make your stay a great experience.

I stay here almost every weekend and I love it. The rooms are always clean and smell good. Sergio at the front desk is very helpful and kind.

Stayed for the Orange Bowl. Great location everything we needed within walking distance and a short 20 minute drive to the Hard Rock Stadium. Would definitely stay again. GO NOLES

I had an issue which was promptly addressed. I appreciated how they professionally dealt with my concerns. Very happy with how everything turned out. Great location, nice rooms, good water pressure, ease of checkin and checkout and beautiful hotel. I enjoyed Miami, Everglades and Florida Keys very much.

We were treated incredibly nice and very attentive by Sergio at check in. He accommodated us to the max even went to the extreme to get milk for our 2 small children late in the night. He assisted us with the check in process and helped to get everything we needed to make our stay perfect. Sergio is AMAZING! Thanks to his hospitality and the facility being incredibly comfortable, we’d definitely stay again.

Very quiet and nice place to stay in for a vacation at Miami. Concierge is good and hope they include some breakfast within the package next time also pool was closed off.
But overall experience is so good. !

Enjoyed my stay here! absolutely no complaints. It was a last minute stay for one night. Check in went smoothly and the holding fee for amenities was very affordable. Nice customer service, clean and very nice house keeping while walking through the hallway. Security is on site however it was extremely quiet and not much going on! I took advantage of the gym, pool and laundry mat which was extremely convenient. They do offer breakfast however I did not take advantage as it’s not complimentary which is okay due to all of the other amenities. They do offer complimentary laundry detergent although I had my own that was nice to know 😊. The room was a perfect size and the bed was very comfortable! Overall vibe and affordable hotel! I would stay again.

The hotel is very clean and in a great location. But the truly special thing about the hotel were the staff. Robert and Carla at the front desk were just awesome! Professional, attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

Highly recommend this hotel! Very clean. Very accommodating, especially for my toddler they had a comfy and roomy play pen where he can rest every night! Prices were not outrages, and we were able to use to the lobby microwave. Had some good snacks, and definitely plenty of water. I will definitely be coming to this hotel when I travel to that area.

The lobby manager was very helpful, nice and professional. I went to the lobby and used the microwave and he also suggested a drink with my meal. I will always stay here on every visit to Miami. Thank you for treating me right. The rooms are gorgeous.

This place was great. My room was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and efficient. They held my bags for me since I arrived before check-in time and then I could go wander around the city all day. Their gym was perfect for my needs and had modern equipment. Definitely a good find!

1st off. They saved us from having a horrible trip. We decided to book at seaside apartment right there on Collins. Worst choice ever. They had a horrible smell, they double booked rooms so.we went from a double bed to 1 bed. So we called sonesta and they got us in that same morning. Not only were they accommodating, they were so nice and let us check in early at 11 am. We hadn't slept at the other hotel (seaside) because of how horrible the mold smell was. Sonesta smelled so fresh and so clean. What a huge difference. I'm so thankful and will try to use them on other trips in the future. Went from a really bad hotel experience (seaside apartment hotel) to a great and everlasting experience (sonesta)

I would stay again. From front desk to housekeeping they were very professional. Super clean which I loved. Night auditor really attended to our needs at 3 am. Also you are surrounded by a plaza which is even more convenient.

We had a lovely stay. We arrived and the staff was friendly and checked us in quickly. The room was clean and comfortable. After a long night walking downtown, my feet were killing me. I took a shower and the tub floor was so soothing on my tired feet. We would stay here again because it was close to our destination in Hialeah and the surrounding area was very nice. The server at breakfast was so kind and helpful very early in the morning. The room was so cold in the night because we could not figure out how to shut off the air, but the covers were so big and warm that we were comfortable enough. Love those pillows and sheets!

The rooms are very clean and customer service is excellent! They're on point and very accommodating. The pool area is very relaxing and the courtyard is perfect to meet with clients or just spend time with family. I'm here mostly for work but they make sure it feels like leisure. The place is very safe for a solo traveler and the staff is great!

Maria at the front desk was amazing during the check-in process. I also interacted with Maria on several occasions during my stay and she was extremely professional. The housekeepers assigned to my floor were always eager to make sure that my family and I didn't need anything. Amazing new fitness room. Super clean pool.

Caroline has been a wonderful help and very kind to me in assisting with my room change. She is a wonderful customer service agent. She has been very considerate and understanding. However The overnight worker who checked me in did have an attitude the entire time he had to make a room change for me. But overall it's a nice hotel with nice morning workers and I'm only placing 5 stars for Caroline's excellency in communication and help.

Was traveling to an industrial part of Miami for work and was looking for a safe, comfortable nearby hotel with easy access and nearby food/ coffee/ grocery.
This was a good option. No complaints.

Very close to Sons school housing so convenient for us. Rooms and very clean , beds are very comfortable . Front desk persons are all very friendly.
