Micanopy Animal Hospital

My favorite animal hospital I’ve ever been to, the staff is very caring and professional. The pricing is fair and they have been able to help every animal. I brought thank you for all of your help!

Micanopy Animal Hospital has been my clinic for many years, through many pets. I have taken my kids for acute issues, as well as general wellness. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Dr.Berisha is my main doc. I originally went there, referred by a friend, because she is a feline specialist. I have multiple cats and dogs, and she has prolonged the lives of several of them through the years. Sadly, they cannot always be saved, and she has been there for me and my beloveds through that difficult time also. The facility is well designed and always clean. As you can tell: I highly recommend them.

I have had the pleasure of having my animals seem by Dr. Berisha, and Dr. Pearson, and each of them have been very thorough in their care, they explain everything concerning my animals with great detail. The patience they exercise with each of my babies is greatly appreciated. The rest of the staff is wonderful as well. Thank you all.

I was familiar with Dr. Pearson from her volunteer work over the years. I came to her clinic at the suggestion of a friend. The staff was so kind, and they were able to get lab results quickly. When I decided to end my Meese's life recently, Dr. Beresha was such a comfort, both for me and my boy. I greatly appreciate the competence and compassion there.

It’s taken me a while to write this review - my first ever - because I wanted the words to reflect perfectly how much Micanopy Animal Hospital meant to me and my cat, Daisy, during her time with them.

It is so rare these days to feel good about the service one receives from a business. But every time I would call on the phone or we visited, I was amazed at how positive the experience was. Every person who works there - always professional and “above and beyond”, as they say. It felt personal, too, not just clinical.

When the time came to make the decision to let her go because of her terminal condition, we knew it was there that she and we would want to be. They have a beautiful little “comfort room” as someone else called it. My husband and I sat on a comfortable futon; there was a very soft “blankey” for her between us, and tissues and water were close by. A couple of the staff members who had known her came in to say good-bye. Dr. Pearson guided us and her so sweetly and gently through the process. It seems odd to say this, but when I think of that very sad day, I remember it as a beautiful one because of the delicate and thoughtful ways they made it that way. Words can't express what that meant to us.

On a lighter note, we have just a adopted a dog from a family member, and so (YAY) we get to keep visiting our favorite vet clinic!

MAH has been absolutely amazing! Ive taken my critters there for years and we always are treated like family and the care they provide is top quality! I highly recommend them ✌

They are amazing here, on more than one occasion they have been able to get my pets in when they needed some urgent care. I always feel like my pets get great care here.

I love them! I've been to several veterinary clinics in Ocala and Citra. They are so friendly and attentive, all of the doctors are great! One of my pups is extremely anxious and Dr. Berisha took her time, even sat on the floor with her to help her ease up. I definitely recommend them.

Best place I know of to take your pets. If they can't figure out the problem, they will get you to someone who can.

The staff treats every patient as though it was their own. We go to Dr. Beresha with our two weiner dogs and are very happy with the care they receive.

Wonderful animal hospital. Great facility, warm and caring staff. I won’t take my dog anywhere else!

Amazing clinic. We are snowbirds and have the required shots and annual physical performed here on our Yorkie. The cost would be substantially more in Canada. The staff and veterinarians are wonderful, and always call the next day to follow up. I highly recommend them.

After being ignored at UF's small animal hospital a few years ago, the vet here saved my 9- year-old bunny's life when she was on death's door. She is still here today (nearly 12!!!) because of her care and knowledge. I now also always make sure to have a bag of Oxbow critical care handy just in case. Thank you! <3

My vet was closed and my boys had a bad fight. They took very good care of my fur baby and I am so grateful they were open and so wonderful.

Ok. I have to edit my review....I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. I have officially made them my primary vet for our three boys. Everyone is beyond friendly (better than most retail experiences I have had). The facility is great, the staff is amazing, everyone is so knowledgeable and thorough. I can't speak highly enough about MAH! I would recommend it to anyone!!! ♥♥♥

Oh. They also went above and beyond to help me find the owner of a local escapee (his mommy was so happy to get him back) and get him checked out.

My thought are maybe they could of came and brought dog to hospital so my kid could of said her goodbye before being put down from car accident..my child left hospital with 2 broken feet before she was sup to just to get to see the dog because was told it was being put down if she was not there in 1 hour. But when we did get to animal hos they were very nice and very professional and rolled the dog out to my truck at 145 am in the colld just so my child could be by her dogs side as it was being put down..they were all great on that aspect of service and we thank you..but then again I know dog had maybe broke its spine and was not in good shape so thank you fir keeping it alive and in no pain for the 10 hours you had her thanks again for your service

Love the staff. They are great with my pack of spoiled fur kids. Very thorough in checking on my older dog.

I have been seeing Dr. Pearson and the professional Vets and staff at Micanopy Vet Hospital for around 16 years. I first came to know them through my Rednose pitbull puppy, Titus who grew to be a 100 lb brute. He was an absolute beast and handsome guy and Dr. Pearson loved him. He eventually passed of cancer, but not before living an extra year and a half from the treatment he received here. Fast forward to today and both my black and tan dachshunds receive care here one for 4.5 years and the other puppy for 6 months. We also board our dogs here when we go out of town and they are so loved and taken care of. We love and appreciate you MAH!

I wouldn't let anybody but Doc Molly work on my dogs. She is caring and compassionate. She is so willing to work with me. My dog is a pain in the butt. She is high-strung and known to snap at strangers. These vet techs really know how to work with the animals. I always know she will get the best care here even though she may not be the best patient.

I bring my catahoulas here for all thier vet car from the time they're born. It's not easy keeping four rambunctious pups calm but the staff here is excellent and provides them with toys and cheese and makes sure thier first vet visit is a good experience! I appreciate how kind and considerate the staff is and always gives the best care to my babies!

Staff is great and friendly and office is clean.
