We love it here! The food is really good, people are nice and the prices are great. The power bowl is awesome, ingredients feel very fresh specially the avocado, pico and I think they make their own biscuits which are very buttery and have the perfect texture. I really enjoy the breakfast potatoes and anything on the menu that has chorizo so far has been very good! Definitely recommend.

My husband and I, along with my Mom, arrived at Banana River Cafe after our sunrise elopement ceremony on the beach on Saturday morning. We were immediately greeted and told to sit where we like. It gave “family-feel” local vibes, which I love. The service was great, staff was friendly and food came out promptly. We always had refills of coffee, tea and water. They use Apocalypse Roasters for their coffee and if you’re local, you know it’s bomb! The food is classic diner-style, which I prefer. They offer a specials menu as well, but we didn’t eat off it. The biscuit and sausage gravy is one of the best I’ve ever had. A super unique feature is the “hot sauce spot” which has a variety of sauces to choose from, and as a hot sauce girly, I loved this. Another fun thing to note is they display local artists’ work and it’s available for purchase! The bathrooms were spacious and clean. Another customer graciously paid for our food, which was completely unexpected, we felt very blessed. She also gave us the little ducks seen in the photo. It was a special moment for us. We loved this spot, and even though we live about 30 min away, we will definitely be back.

5 Stars

I swore four years ago I would never go back, yet here I am like fish from yesterfang in the parking lot of a restaurant that at one time (under previous ownership) was my number one breakfast place in Brevard County. After it was sold, it was turned into a joint that wallowed in bad food and even worse service. As I said, that was four years ago. I have since deleted that review. Now, I can say that it is safe to return to the water, but I get ahead of myself.

What changed? The new owner/chef is a CIA graduate who did his externship at Michelin Star restaurant Gramercy Tavern in New York City. Emerson Krause turned down a position at the famed restaurant upon graduation to return home and bring Brevard a taste of things seldom sampled in this part of the Sunshine State. I can safely speak for all of my fellow Floridians on the Space Coast when I say, “Thank you, Emerson and welcome home!”

After being seated at a delightfully decorated table (I love the paint scheme on the chairs), we were approached by a charming lady named Nicole. Nicole was outstanding in every way a service professional should be. I asked Nicole for an order of the Bacon Sea Salt French Toast, one Texan Potato Stack and a San Antonio Biscuit Bennie.

Snapping a few quick pics of the warm environs, I sat back, soaked in the peaceable atmosphere and awaited Nicole’s return. The aromas were enticing to such a degree; it was all I could do to take some pictures before digging into the edible artwork before me.

First to saunter across my palate was a taste of the Bacon Sea Salt French Toast. One taste and I was deep in Hog Heaven. That bacon! While I love “meat candy” more than almost any other animal flesh, that is not what set this order of the tried and true breakfast staple of French Toast apart. It was the bread and execution. This bread was fresh, thick and griddled to a delightful golden brown. The outside had just the right amount of crunch, while the inside was airy, fresh and wonderfully warm. I could eat this every day and never tire of it.

Heaving a sad sigh of regret, I moved on to the next dish to be sampled, the Texan Potato Stack. Every Potato Stack is served with eggs over easy on herb roasted potatoes and topped with jack cheddar cheese sauce with your choice of toast or biscuit. The Texan came with added chorizo, onion, peppers, salsa, guacamole and sour cream. One bite and again, I was done. The flavors cascaded down my gullet like so many drops of gastronomical gratification.

The last to dance across my taste buds this morning was the San Antonio Biscuit Bennie. I won’t bore you with any more details; suffice it to say that this was on par with the rest of the meal. Everything was cooked to perfection and the flavor combinations were unparalleled in a breakfast biscuit (if this still qualifies as such).

The Big Boy says, “If it is breakfast or lunchtime, stop what you are doing and go there right now.”

Cia (food school not spy place) trained owner/chef. Great food, lovely server, prompt service & spectacular art. As an amateur painter, most inspiring. If I had wall space, I would have purchased 2 of the pieces. It was totally unexpected for a small strip mall diner on an interior arterial road. Very woth seeking out!

My wife was getting her hair cut nearby, so I went in for a late breakfast. Really fun menu! I settled on a Mexican omelet. It is a large portion, came with toast and potatoes. The omelet had chorizo, mild green peppers, guacamole, and sour cream. Very good, I couldn’t finish it all. With an excellent cup of coffee, just over 15$ before tip. The facility is fun, restrooms clean, friendly staff.

We met our cousin for a late breakfast. She lives around the corner but had not been to the cafe in several years. She ordered the Americana Bennie, my wife chose the Bacon Sea Salt Caramel French Toast and I had the Greek omelet. What delicious food, large portions and great service. We will definitely go back again and again and our cousin found a new neighborhood spot!

My daughter just flew in and we decided to take her to our favorite breakfast spot! She absolutely loved the breakfast bagels. I had not been inside before, typically my husband picks up our orders. Oh my goodness what a beautiful, relaxing cafe! The walls and plants are beautiful. I will definitely return often for an outdoor breakfast!! Amazing food and atmosphere, staff are incredibly friendly as well.

I googled places to eat breakfast close to us, and came up with this restaurant. It is a small place. They had one server for the whole place. However, he did a great job. The food was amazing. I like how instead of an omelet you can do the scramble. My kids enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. The portions was well worth the price. We will definitely come back.

We had an enjoyable Christmas eve breakfast with family. Everyone meal arriving in timely manner. The service was great. The only reason the food didn't receive a 5 is my wife's meal was cold but good and some how half of my English muffin was hard as a rock. With said We'll be returning soon.

I've lived here for 8 years, and have never been. Boy have I been missing out! For starters, I love the decor. The walls are covered with vintage photos, beach pictures, fishing artwork and quirky things. The atmosphere is really wonderful. The tables aren't too close together which always bothers me in small diners.

The service was friendly, and the food came out very quickly. Make sure to check the specials board behind the counter, because that is where the gems are. I had the lemon ricotta pancakesnwurh blueberries and my son had the power bowl. Both were just fabulous. I'm somewhat particular about my pancakes and these were really well made.

If you're visiting Satellite Beach, then this is a must-go for breakfast! You'll get the local experience for sure.

Awesome little cafe with delicious food, a cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff. We were out riding around looking for a place to have breakfast and stumbled upon this cafe. I'm so glad that we did too.

The cafe is very homey and cozy, the walls are decorated with art from local artists, yes the art work is for sale.

If you are a vegetarian as I am you will be very pleased with the menu as it caters to everyone. Our meals were delicious and freshly prepared. Our server was the best! She was waiting on every table in the cafe and nobody wanted for anything.

I almost don't want to tell anyone about this place. I am a little greedy and reluctant to make it more well known. All I gotta say is try the Lemmon blueberry ricotta pancakes. Doesn't need syrup. The biscuits are insane. Coffee is roasted from apocalypse coffee. Prices are reasonable for beachside. We heck just try anything . You won't be disappointed. BTW the owner is a graduate of Culinary Institute

Order you gotta try: strawberry dark chocolate ganache french toast (specialty menu), side of eggs and CHORIZO w/ side of pico and guac. And accompany with chipotle sauce (which ain't too hot). So so good. 10/10

This is a great place to go for a good sized breakfast for a reasonable price. I had the Mexican omelet with cheddar cheese and was pleasantly surprised on the quality of the chorizo that was used. Absolutely excellent! The French toast was made with cinnamon on top along with whipped cream which added alot of flavor. My wife had the ham and cheese omelet with sliced tomatoes. They give you an option of potatoes or tomatoes with your breakfast and they have flavored creamers at the table for your coffee. The hot sauce bar was a great touch and they have plenty of different types to choose from. The wait staff are friendly patient and helpful. Stop here for breakfast, you will be glad you did!

Jackson was very friendly . I felt like I was at a friend's house have brunch. The restaurant was decorated very nice. Food was great. My family say I am a restaurant snob/Karen. I have been in the food service industry for most of my life. I really enjoyed my time there, and my sister said the bathroom was perfect and very cutely decorated.
