Windemere Hotel & Conference Center

This is not a hotel & conference center anymore. This entire complex is operated as a shelter for people experiencing homelessness. CBI or Community Bridges Inc runs this facility and they provide services to a very large number of people who otherwise might not have anywhere to sleep other than the streets. Clients here are provided with meals daily, beds, programs and services at no cost to the individual.

I have stayed here multiple times within the past year or 2. I have never had any issues with a room, never had a bad experience with a staff member. My stays have always been the best. The staff up front are always amazing when accommodating me as well as maid service! Thank you yall! Photos attached of my basic king size suite.

We stayed here for a 1&1/2-2 weeks, and honestly this place has improved sooooooo much compared to 2+ years ago. The rooms have been remodeled and updated (new floors, blackout curtains, fresh paint, updated bathrooms, bedding, and more.) They have cleaned up much of the riff-raff as well.

I am so grateful for the homeless program they have here. It's here honestly a life saver!! I now have a safe place to sleep now. Thank you city of Mesa and CBI and Windemere.

While I have had better (far better), this is above what you would expect for their rates.

Really beautiful hotel. They have expansive grounds that are well kept up, a large sparkling pool, and golf courses in the back. The rooms themselves are nice and roomy. They have all the amenities one would normally expect (microwave, micro fridge, ironing board, coffee machine)

Personally they upgraded me to a two bed room at no extra cost. Honestly it was a bit too much room for just one person! I was amazed by the extremely large private balcony I had access to that overlooked the entire courtyard.

I could see no bugs in the place, everything was in good, clean, and working order. Honestly the people who give this place negative reviews really need to either lower their standards, or pony up the extra cash and check into something like the Hilton! This hotel for me was the same price as like the Knights Inn, but it is a thousand and one times nicer than it!

Definitely recommend booking online rather than in person! You'll easily get a discounted rate.

My wife booked this place for a weekend getaway and I was pleasantly surprised. Our room was very very clean and had a fridge and stove. We spent plenty of time in the jacuzzi tub relaxing. I would defiantly recommend this place to stay and I would come back and it appeared that they offer longer rentals as well. I cant say enough good things about this place

Can't say anything about the hotel inside, but attended a reception there. Nice oasis-like courtyard surrounded by trees and a fountain along one wall. Dining and reception center was a little bit dated but nice overall and we had a great time, so a solid four stars on facility. The location was very convenient with lots of parking. I consider probably a 4.5 rather than 5 stars, but because of the service, I decided to round up. Good staff attention and politeness.

The front desk clerk, Ariel was an absolutely perfect example of what customer service and care is and always should be. See she made the check in a great experience which carried over for my entire stay. I can assure you if you choose to stay at the Windermere Hotel and Conference Center in Mesa, you will enjoy your stay from start to finish.

This place is definitely dated , it's older hotel on main Street prob built in 50s but it's clean, the beds are clean and comfortable, all the rooms have a back patio and if your on first floor it opens right into grass courtyard. It's also very quiet! In a great neighborhood and the pool & hottub are very clean & well kept!

I really enjoy staying at the Windermere! The staff is amazing! April was so sweet and made us feel so welcome. Due to my unexpected emergency we had to stay there for about a week. I enjoyed the hospitality and how friendly everyone was. April at the front desk made me and my family feel so welcome. She always had a smile on her face and had a great personality. The best hotel in Mesa.

this is a great place....i stayed one night and will go back anytime i am in mesa. yes, its in a bad part of town but for $57.52 a night with clean rooms, 24 hour pool and a full free breakfast and free wifi its a great deal. also, since the other hotels around there were $70 a night or more and were very dirty and unsafe this is the place to stay. i and my 13 year old son felt very very safe and really liked it there. if your in mesa and thinking about this hotel...do it....stay there. you will be happy you did.

Julie provided me with horribly excellent service that went way below the willingness to go the extra effort to ask her room cleaners if a room was ready. So I did her the favor and located the room cleaners. I asked and was informed that 2 rooms were available. Mind you I was only asking to check in early this one time because I worked a shift early this morning and drove 26 miles to this location so I can shower and get ready for a last minute shift I picked up to help out JJ Madison’s. You would think that the respect and understanding for someone working a bunch and going the distance to make things happen would have been considered. But unfortunately Julie ignored the information about the two available rooms that I had located for her and insinuated I was harassing her cleaners. Instead of verifying the information so I can get into a room clean up and change for the 2nd job. She decides to spend her super busy I can’t help you attitude with statements about how she doesn’t appreciate me harassing her workers and that I need to bare with her and wait. She also guaranteed me an available room by 3pm. The time spent with Julie speaking customer service remarks, I visualized her picking up the phone or walkie talkie to verify a room was ready (as I had already found this out for her because she was super busy) and checking me in. She could have checked me in 3 different times, but instead she decided to block me from cleaning up and changing sooner rather than later so I can be a progressive and efficient last minute shift to help a local business.. I give her 5 stars for doing everything in her power to not help a fellow person trying to do better things for themselves and others. Thank you Julie!! Your consideration and willingness to go above and beyond to help people trying to do the right thing amazes me and makes me want to help people more and to show people there is hope for a better future with respectful and helpful people. Very friendly staff. I booked through Priceline which didn’t transfer over my booking but front desk was happy to price match the cheaper rates. The room was very clean and loved having a patio overlooking well manicured lawn. Very happy with my experience at this hotel

We have stayed here many times. during our last stay we celebrated our daughter mischas birthday who turned 8 years old in our room. They have great service workers that are easy to get along with and that will accomadate you with anything you need. I will definetly stay here anytime when im on this side of town.

The comfort and cleanliness of this Hotel is what I liked best, also the Breakfast was really Good.

The place is clean and the employees are great. They even have a small section where they have been helping some of the 🏡 less people out. The beautiful pool ie closed now because of virus. The rooms are big and well kept. The lounge area is large and nice

This my second time here and Everytime im here i feel welcomed in. Just like family. The manager Ruben is very kind and sincere about his customers. The night front desk April is very kind and sweet as can be. I would definitely recommend this place for other families to come. Also Kayla is doing a great job. keep up the good work everyone love being here.

The hotel was great in accommodating us when we got here early to check in. The room was clean & neat. Enjoyed using the swimming pool which was nice and warm to get into. Also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast they provide each morning.

Im stll here and l find lt to' be peacefull and quits. Can't use the pool yet but that's ok. It's very close to town and you can take the bus or the light rail witch isn't far at ail.
The staff are friendly and very helpful. As far as bugs I haven't seen any. But don't forget this is the South. And those people that have well next time leave them at home. I would recommend it for sure. 😎👍
