U-Haul Moving & Storage of Ayer

Arthur is the man!!! The guy is someone you want on any team. He's personable, friendly, kind, tolerant and goes OUT OF HIS WAY to help! Cannot say enough good here on reviews about him. This U-Haul works well and satisfies my needs and I believe a lot of that is in part because of Arthur. Drive up lockers. Quiet location. Great hours. It shows it's age a little but with The location and quality of service I cannot say a bad thing about it. Been storing here for 4+ years. Thanks Arthur and U-Haul of Ayer

I had reserved an enclosed trailer for business use at the Gardner, MA U-haul location. On the day of pickup they called and said they won't be able to help me, because they didn't want to shovel the snow.

So I checked with U-haul and found another one available at Ayre, MA. The U-Haul CS on the phone moved my reservation and by the time I arrived at the Ayre location, all the snow had been plowed and trailer cleaned/ready to go.

Nowadays, it seems like everyone is okay to point their finger at someone or something else to shift the blame, taking the easy way out with no accountability.

Arthur, the manager at Ayre U-Haul, displayed a rare trait and took full responsibility for the actions of people at Gardner U-Haul. Although I did not ask for it, he made sure I was compensated for the action (in this case inaction) of people from Gardner.

In our daily interactions often times we forget that when we interact with someone, we represent our backgrounds(corporation, race, nationality etc) as the face of said background. For example, If you walk in to a grocery store and are faced with a courteous and friendly employees, you are likely to associate that grocery store with a positive memory and maybe are willing to travel out of the way to shop at that location.

I hope U-Haul corporate notices they have someone like Arthur working for them.

This was by far the best experience I've ever had at any store I've even been to . I'm 37 years old and have traveled the country and used Uhaul a lot over the year but this was not only the best experience at a Uhaul it was the best of any store I've been to. Both Doug and Arthur are the most helpful and polite people I've run into. Bent over backwards to help me out in a very difficult time. Thank you to them .

I have been a customer and unit rental for many years in Ayer. I am leaving a high rating because I have seen a MAJOR change in the way this facility is being run. I require storage and this is the best local place, however prior to Arthur becoming the GM I only used the unit stayed away from talking to GM. That has all changed, the improvements and the personnel are SO MUCH BETTER and adding individual door alarm security means I may rent another unit.

The van I rented was clean and the customer service was very friendly and customer oriented. I strongly recommend this location if you have to rent.

Stopped in to get some bubble wrap and Shinkansen wrap to protect my drums in my home. Two complete kits with cymbals and hardware. I also have seven snare drums and many accessories. Finally, I have a home recording studio. Very large investment and each individual instrument must be protected.
