Loved this place! Great decor - eccentric, fun, and spooky. A lovely place to hang out for breakfast or lunch. Service was friendly and very fast. Fair prices and good food. Looking forward to returning here. A few good vegetarian options and a variety of coffees and teas.

Such a cute combination of coffee shop, lunch place, bar/lounge, and local pasta/coffee seller. Lattes are tasty and medium-expensive. Also a painted piano outside.

I went here the other day and it may be my new favorite place! The atmosphere was so cozy, along with the seats, and there were lots of books for reading. Adam was delightful and very eager to give recommendations as it was my first time. I ordered a corn chowder for like $3 and it was huge and the coffee was delicious. Has an overall very lovely experience!

While looking for a place for dinner, we happened upon Markoh's quite by accident and are happy we did! My husband and I shared 2 small plates -- the Little Shorty, the Brussels Sprouts and the Mother Earth salad. Here it is, 2 weeks later, and we're still raving about this little hole in the wall bar/restaurant that we almost passed by. Great food, great bartender/server, great ambience. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Give this place a try.

Great service. Reasonable prices. Breakfast was delicious. Bagel sandwich with no egg. The Bagel tasted like it was just baked and was big. Got 2 slices of sausage 😋.
Hashbrowns tasted homemade! I enjoyed it very much and I will be back!

So excited that Markoh’s Wake and Bake on Main is here! Ayer downtown was missing a good coffee and breakfast/brunch spot. Been here a few times since they opened and have had nothing but positive vibes from them! It’s cute, cozy, has delicious coffee (Union coffee roasters!) and equally delicious food (those breakfast burritos hit the spot!) Highly recommend stopping in!

Sweet place to stop for coffee and a breakfast sandwich after a run or bike along the Nashua River Rail Trail. Very friendly staff and comfortable seating.

Smash burger was good, smaller than expected, recommend a double for anyone with a medium appetite. The picked and fresh veggies on top were really good though.

I have to write this review because Adam makes the best grilled muffins & his breakfast sandwich making skills are off the charts. The coffee also is consistantly excellent.

I love everything about this place. The coffee is fantastic. They have a very cozy area to sit and enjoy your food and/or coffee with a selection of books and magazines. There are picture books for kids as well. And they don't have the piped music that is common in typical coffee shops. You can work or have a conversation without much disturbance.

Food is delicious! The biscuits are mouthwatering. Great portion sizes especially considering the price and a nice staff.

Great place to eat, have a drink, listen to local music. Staff is great (Adam is our favorite)!!
We were looking for a place to have a very small intimate wedding and Markoh’s made our evening absolutely perfect!

Excellent service. Coworker and I were in the area working for the Army and decided to stop in for a quick bite to eat. Food was delicious and the service was awesome!

Fantastic venue. Stumbled upon by chance after a lot of travelling. Bartender(Rhiannon) did a great job or promoting the place, local knowledge, recommended some great IPAs. Got to watch a live act too. Shall return.

All in-house food items. Great sandwich wraps, and they are hefty. Cinnamon rolls and egg pastries are delicious. Awesome staff and lovely, clean atmosphere. Love me a red eye coffee too. They use Union Roasters coffee (a local roaster).

Wake and Bake is wonderful! Great new addition to downtown Ayer. Breakfast bowl and wrap is fabulous.

Great vibe and even better food and coffee. It's become our Saturday morning staple with the kiddos. (And then I crave the breakfast wrap two three days later and go again... and again.) Hearty portions, beautifully baked goods, fresh in-house every day. Can't go wrong!

Really loving their new breakfast spot! We’ve been a few times and it feels like a great place for the community to have delicious food and coffee! The staff is really friendly and the environment is just lovely! I have only one recommendation, and that’s to add a few fun hot sauces :)
