Rodeway Inn by the Beach

I was extremely satisfied with my stay! Awesome location! Had views of the back bay area, the whole strip and the ocean. Very clean room with a bedroom with 2 double beds, which were very comfortable, kitchenette with a full size fridge, microwave and a 2 burner stove top, and a living room with a pull out couch. Check-in was a breeze and the gentleman who checked me in was very polite and welcoming. Nice size swimming pool on the 3rd floor. And had an amazing view of the sunset every night!! Will definitely return for future stays. The only complaint I have is that there isn't many outlets, we had 3 in our room. Extension cord is definitely needed for coffee pots, cell phones and electric skillet. Quiet for the most part. And for those that gave a bad review, disregard!! This isn't a 5 star hotel, but you feel just like you're at home!! Very polite and friendly people!!

I wasn't here on vacation, so for me it was great!! I wasn't expecting such a large room, suite! But I was impressed. I loved the fact that you can walk one block to beach, many shops, food places & best of all, housekeeping comes like after 11am...I am not a morning person!
Rates were cheaper than those one star motels in Norfolk & you get so much more here.

I’m a non bougie Diamond elite member and I think this is a great hotel for the price. I’ve never had a problem. The front desk girl was very nice and accommodating. (It’s that one guy that isn’t very personable). Tho the upgraded rooms are the ones that don’t have any kind of view or balcony so that sucks. And the tv wires are always dangley, which isn’t a problem. But otherwise everything’s great! Don’t listen to these bs reviews. Go stay. And see for yourself. :)

The exterior of the building doesn’t look appealing—it looks old, parking lot looks small and difficult to get around; the front desk was nice, friendly but wanted ID for anyone staying in the room. As a Navy Brat, that’s not a big deal for me. The place doesn’t look appealing but..

The room we got was spacious, clean, with two soft beds, a kitchen area with a working fridge, small bathroom with a great shower, access to a balcony, plenty of lighting, tv with clear signal and picture. The internet was not as good as I like it, but that’s okay. We stayed for three days, but wish we could have stayed longer.

I had no issues at all... I read all reviews & I experience not any of them.. Perfect view to look down at the beach & pool out my front door.. Quiet on my side .. Room was fine to me. I would definitely return back here 🥳

I wasn’t sure why all of the reviews on here are bad. I stayed for two nights & i was satisfied. The room was clean, house keeping did their job. Management was great. I had no problems with the staff or cleanliness of our room. Pricing was good. & it’s so close to the beach you don’t need to worry about parking! Thanks Rodeway Inn!

We have been staying here since 2010. The staff is very nice. Sunny the manager has always accommodated us here. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. We have brought our friends and family to stay here and they as well love it. The location is great. We plan on going this weekend.

Best cheap hotel ever!
Very tight parking tho. If you have other than compact car... may be an issue. My vw Tiquan and ford explorer are about as big as the parking garage can hold. A few spots by the office had big trucks and expeditions but close to the road made me nervous for them.
Cleanest cheaper hotel ive ever stayed in. I will definitely choose here for next visit.

Great spot in spite of other reviews ive seen. Cheap, no frills, by the beach, friendly staff, decent rooms that are near the beach. Ill definitely stay here when i come back. Could be a little cleaner but im still happy with it.

We had a wonderful time and such a wonderful stay. I would recommend to everyone. Extremely nice employees and the front desk is awesome. Definitely will make this our place to stay every visit to Virginia beach.

Great service! Close to the beach. Their rooms are perfect for my kids and I and has a kitchette so we don't always have to go out to eat. Already booked our trip for this year :)

Our room had a living room area, a little kitchen area that had a good size refrigerator, microwave, and range top stove. Then the bedroom area. Room was outdated, but I was there for the beach, the room was clean so I was impressed. I would stay there again. Friendly staff.

I love these hotels they are really nice,the only things was my room smell so my like cigrate when I ask for a non-Cigrate room.Everything really goood.There is many parking space,Close to the beach,and shopping center:) Love this hotel!! Will stay there again…

Great hotel within walking distance for the price. Our room has a balcony, kitchen, tile bathroom, and newer carpeting. Secure parking and clean pool too. The staff at the front desk were so nice!

it is evreything great i loved it and so did our family with nice workers, high speed internet, yummy breakfast treats, a pool literly on the rooftop. I dont see why people dont enjoy it. It's a very close walking distance from the beach, and a wonderful boardwalk they have there. Its proboly "enjoyable if you go with friends, thats what WE did and we had a very good time.The service was great, all the kids kept asking for towels, they always came out so warm and fresh! The rooms were very comfortable too, but if they had chocolate or mints under your pillow, when you arrive that would be even better! it was all great and couldn have been better so dont listen to the others listen to ME..

Pros- Big Rooms, very clean! NO BUGS!
Comfortable beds, great staff, great pool, very close to the beach at a great price, just a great hotel!!!

Cons,- Parking is really weird

I've enjoyed my stay, the hotel staffare sure any people who were too loud were removed and gave us great local spots to check out.
I do hate the parking deck but I have an excellent driver.

this isthe perfect place for a large family or group to stay, it is close to everything,their is a 7 eleven across the street from the hotel and the room is very large,and most have privacy door. our had a kitchen and a seperate living room. we stayed for 4 day, and enjoyed every second of it. it was very clean but we wiped everthing in the bath down any way, but over all for the price and the 2 min walk to the beach i will stay there everytime i vist virginia beach.

Great place to stay!! Very clean&spacious. Our kids enjoyed it as much as we did! Balcony you could see the ocean on perfectly. Loved it great place for the money!!

This was an amazing experience the wife and I were not sure what to expect after reading some of the reviews but I'm here to tell you this place is great the staff has been very nice and room was clean everything worked we will be back
