Froedtert FastCare Walk-In Clinic (Sheboygan Meijer)

Very convenient and centrally located. Ease of making an appointment time which needs to be done because more staff must be hired. Great providers!

Let me start out by saying we have not had the best experiences in the past with urgent/walk-in/ER visits. We've had very few of them, but have always left either feeling bullied or patronized. After calling the clinic, Amber gave us the option to come in or go through a video call, explaining clearly the cost. Our experience with the video appointment was wonderful, alleviating the necessity of bringing my under-the-weather daughter out and about. Amber was very personable, listened to my concerns and took the time to research the best the treatment for my daughter and answer questions in a respectful and caring way. She went out of her way to print off paperwork that we can submit to our insurance, as well. I will definitely recommend this option to others! Thank you so much for making this painless, on so many levels.

I was really sick and my doctor couldn't get me in for an appointment for 3 more days. I went to this walk-in and the nurse asked a bunch of questions to assess my condition. She told me to go to urgent care because I needed more treatment than she was able to offer. Instead of taking me back for a full appointment and charging me for nothing, she was honest and sent me to the right place. It saved me a bunch of money, which I really appreciate with how high medical costs are and how little my insurance covers. Thank you for being a provider with integrity!

Amber is awesome! My eye had been red for a week or two and my wife wanted me to see someone about it. I remembered the Sheboygan Meijer had a walk in clinic so I gave them a call. I told Amber what my issue was over the phone and after some extra questions she said they would most likely be able to fix it.

She told me I could do a walk in or make an appointment online. The online appointment process is easy enough to figure out and set up. Just pick a time, enter your insurance and personal information and confirm.

She was knowledgeable, friendly and took the time to go over my concerns. I forgot my eyedrops in the office and she even came and found me shopping to hand them over!

I was visiting family from out of town and fell ill. Googled and this place came up. I am so impressed and so pleased with the care I received from Amber, NP. I am a medical provider myself as well as an educator of future medical providers and Amber is the provider I want to not only take care of me, but I want to work with. We had an excellent dialogue regarding my conditions, sxs. She answered all my questions (and then some!) Amber was amazing. If you're ill and need care -- head here. Ask for Amber. She won't let you down.

Got a thorough check up from the nurse. She checked many different things to make sure to diagnose me correctly rather then just shipping me out the door with a prescription like so many other clinics do. Will definitely come back.

Seriously had probably the best visit with a doctor ever today!! She listened to what I had to say, offered great solutions, was extremely friendly and relatable, and she didn't cause my anxiety to flare up, not even once! Would 1000% recommend going here any chance you have.

I had to make a quick stop into a minute for an earache I had. This one in particular was actually highly recommended in the area by a local Aura Health nurse! I stopped in and Annette, a nurse practitioner, took a look at me and proscribed an amoxicillin. At the pharmacy inside at Meijer, it was actually free! The check up was affordable, the care was super kind and intuitive and the whole thing took very little time! I highly recommend!

Amber was the best. She helped us right b4 closing and even walked me over to the exact medicine we needed. Thanks Amber for being awesome!!

The doctor was very nice, professional, and understanding. I was seen quickly and would recommend this clinic to anyone needing relief, or cannot be seen by pc. I'm glad we have Freodtert clinic here.

This company should be embarrassed to have someone like Barbara working for them. From the moment I walked in this woman was unapologetically rude. It was about noon and I tried to take my son who was having asthma problems to be seen. We walked in and the auto lights were off but I heard someone in the back office. We waited 10 minutes before I walked by her office to ask her if she could help us. She rolled her eyes and asked if I had an appointment. I said no this is a walk-in I wasn't aware I needed an appointment. She said yes and we are busy. I asked if there was anything at all available still for the day. She said she would check. She walked into the back office again and didn't see or hear from her for about 20 mins before I got back up and went to her office again to see what was going on. She was sitting on her phone and when I said something she started typing. I said at this point we have been here for almost 40 minutes you could have already seen him. She stated how busy she is again, and she has an appointment at 1:30. Remind you it's 12:40. I said you told me you were busy when I walked in 40 mins ago, so if you would have taken us you would have had an hour and a half before your next patient. At this point she was now trying to throw her coworker who wasn't even there to defend themselves under the bus and blame them which made no sense at all. Barbara took all the steps and went out of her way to make my son and I feel unimportant and irrelevant so we would leave because she did not want to help us. My son's breathing at this point was getting worse and I didn't even want someone like her to see my son, so we needed to leave and go to the ER. She actually smiled when I told her we were leaving! With the lack of respect and her laziness I left in pure disgust! DO NOT go to this clinic, we wouldn't want to make Barb lift a finger

This Fastcare shouldn’t even be open. I was belittled, insulted and made to feel like an idiot. Right on the website it claims to treat upper respiratory issues. She claimed the just by hearing my cough that I probably had pneumonia or Covid. After tearing up and walking out I went to another urgent care where he listened to my lungs said they were clear and sent me home with some cough medication and steroids. She wasn’t even capable of listening to my lungs! She was absolutely rude!!!! This was also my second run in with her and the first time she was just as rude!

This clinic is neither “walk-in” nor “fast care”! My brother and I were vacationing in the Sheboygan area when he got poison ivy. (This is listed on the clinic’s website as something they treat.). The door to the clinic was LOCKED even though it was supposed to be open (as per the hours posted on the clinic door), and no clients were in the waiting area. This is on a Thursday around 10:30am. After we knocked on the door, a woman opened it and said, “You need to make an appointment, and besides, I’m very busy with virtual visits.” She never introduced herself. As she was about to shut the door, I said, “We are from out-of-town and just need a few minutes of the doctor’s time to evaluate the rash then get a Prednisone prescription. This is a “walk-in, same day, urgent care” clinic, isn’t it?” She relented and said we’d have to enroll in the Medical College of WI system before we could do a virtual visit. So, we spent the next 10-15 minutes “enrolling.” I said something to the effect that during the half hour we’d already spent there, she (I assume, the doctor or NP) could have already confirmed my brother’s poison ivy and prescribed treatment. She must have seen something in my face that said, “We’re not leaving until he’s treated” because she changed her mind and saw my brother. She then spent the next half hour unnecessarily taking my brother’s complete medical history. Long story short: we spent over an hour in a situation that could have been resolved in a few minutes.

Sent away even tho they were not busy AND no warning on the website that APPOINTMENTS are needed. Waited around & was then told to go away because they were booked up for the day.

If that is the case, make it CLEAR that it's appt only on the front door and on the website. And ask FIRST THING when someone arrives so they don't waste time. I am glad I left my hospital (that I worked at) when they were sold to Froedert bc I'd be embarrassed to be part of that system.
