I went in for a passport appointment and Melissa was beyond helpful! She answered all of my questions, she was super professional and also very kind. It was my first time going through this process and she did a wonderful job explaining everything to me and was very patient with me as well. Definitely recommend this location if you’re looking for great customer service!

I went for appoinment to apply a new passport before 9 am and then the women there called me right at 9 to help me to complete the rest of my application ,She is so friendly and helpful.I got my new passport within 3 weeks.I am so happy .

Every time I go here whether it be for personal or work related the entire staff is friendly and efficient. Ian, Peter, and Melissa are the most kind hearted and funny (Peter) that I have ever came across at post office before. If you ever need to know any mail related information these 3 have it down. Thank you for being great people in a customer service based line of work.

I don't understand the complaints. I always have a good experience here. The staff is always awesome and I've never waited a long time. Love this lil post office. Even during busy times of the year it's a good experience.

I'm terrible with names but the man working today was so incredibly patient with me as I was trying to see how long it would take a very important package to arrive. They insured that my package not only arrived swiftly and on time but 2 days before many other places could. Today they where my littoral life savers thank you to all the crew.

No one..not UPS. not Fedx...not DSL...not AMAZON no one beats USPS on cost and delivery...no one..for cost

I went in to the Post Office wanting to renew my old passport. I found out that getting a new passport would take 8 or so weeks due to Covid, and that was not quick enough for my upcoming trip, even with the expedited renewal. I talked to the most helpful worker named Renee, who worked with me on my options. She got in touch with the Senator's office to help me set up an appointment for an in person passport renewal (which only takes one day). I am so grateful for her help, she saved me so much time and stress!

Yesterday I went by the Vermont office to report that I had not received a package that had been marked as delivered but wasn't in my locker. Michelle W. went above and beyond and assured me that it would be delivered to my house personally if need be in order for me to get it. When I came home from work, I was super legit relieved to see that the package was sitting at my front door as was promised. I think it goes without saying but Michelle def deserves a raise. Thank you!

Sorry this is so far after the actual date but still want to tell you: On Monday, November 28, 2016 I watched a Post Office employee be so kind and patient that it just made me proud to live in our city and happy to witness this occasion. This was not the person who waited on me but the person to her right. There was a HUGE, long line and only 2 windows available. A gentleman who did not speak English was trying to mail a package and it was really being difficult for the customer AND the Postal person. That young man was consistently patient and kind. The customer got his phone out and managed to get a friend/relative to come and interpret. It was amazing to watch. It was also unbelieveable that all the waiting people weren't complaining either! It was really almost a magical moment, especially considering the present climate in our country. I have been witness to situations where people who were not English-speakers were treated terribly. Be so proud of your employees at our Lawrence Downtown Post Office. I'm glad we get to have them here!! Happy Holidays!

I was sending mail for the first time ever in my life and USPS gave me the best experience today. The whole process of choosing the appropriate package, making labels and so on, took less than 15 minutes of my time and as a busy college student, I greatly appreciate that. The lady at the front handling services was very friendly and informative on what needs to be done. Would come to this location again 10/10.

I'm very grateful for the staff at our local Post Office. I use this post office multiple times each week, and am always appreciative of their courtesy and professionalism. Been a loyal customer for years, and will remain so!

P.S. I had a much longer review written out about the excellent customer service. HOWEVER, the Google gods decided to rob me and you of that hilarious but positive piece of literature. So I didn't feel like rewriting. Blame the Google gods.

Miss Melissa was wonderful and helpful! Inside was clean and rocking to 80's music which made my day!
