Topsail Steamer

Update: I ordered another steamer for delivery for my husband’s birthday. It arrived yesterday and was perfect! The seafood stayed fresh with the ice packs and cooler bag. Highly recommend.

We are on vacation and this was a dinner we had on our must try list. We ordered online and it was ready when we arrived. The staff member was very kind and informative, letting us know each step to get this good stuff steamed up. They also provide printed instructions. I’m not sure which bucket we ordered, but it had shrimp, clams, crab, potatoes, sausage, kielbasa, onions, and scallops. It was more than we could finish at one sitting, but we look forward to finishing off the leftover shrimp and potatoes! I love that we get to keep the bucket and we plan on ordering for home delivery in a couple of months. It was so good! And fun!

This place was pretty awesome. It was very easy to make and friendly staff. We had a good time making the food and eating it. Everything was delicious. Next time I would say I would order more corn to the mixture.

Came for the seafood, stayed for the pie!!!

First time we have tried Topsail Steamer and it did not disappoint. It was so easy to order, the staff were very friendly during pick up and gave pointers on how to have a great experience cooking our first pot, and it was a quick and easy! We ordered the build your own and it was plenty of food for 6 people! We also ordered the corn bread, so light and fluffy like cake with the slightest sweetness to it. The perfect compliment to the Cajun flavored seasoning we ordered for our steamer. We ended the night with their blueberry lemon pie and there are just no words to describe how delicious it was. The crust, the sweetness of the blueberries, utter perfection. Will make this a new tradition when we come to Topsail!

Jimmy’s mix is good, a little spicy(don’t rub your eyes). Recommend the clams! Gas stoves cooks the fastest but average time preparing everything will take an hr.

Amazing! We ordered the miss Emily 2 and we had 11 people (7 adults and 4 kids) eating out of the pot and still had left overs! The staff were amazing and explained how to boil our pot perfectly (you also get great instructions for step by step) we loved pouring it onto the table at our rental and had a blast eating it!

Food was very good! We misunderstood that we’d need to cook it ourselves and were saddened because our rental had no stove. However, management was extremely kind and helpful and leant us their camping stove to cook with. Dinner was delicious and we enjoyed the experience of cooking it! Would recommend.

I’m a sucker for a pot of seafood and this pot did not disappoint!!! Based on experience with other establishments, Topsail Steamer offers the best quality and quantity in their pots. We had ample food to feed 4 adults and 4 kids. We got the Crabby Jimbo high tider and added sausage and extra potatoes and corn. The cornbread was to die for, just sweet enough and I can’t wait to get another meal from here! I highly recommended.

So good! So easy! We picked it up a couple times during the week we were on vacation! Will definitely get it again when we are back in Topsail!

Great experience. Totally inclusive to make it easy at the house. Works to customize as you like. We picked up 3 of our 4 nights we were there.

Got a bucket last night and it was so good! Being able to bring it home and watch the sunset was amazing. It came with everything we needed and the cornbread was the bomb! Definitely something you should get!

We ordered the Miss Emily II this afternoon for dinner tonight. The staff were very helpful and friendly. So easy and convenient to prepare at home. We drained the liquid from the pot and poured it on the middle of the table on the paper they supplied. Butter was also provided. It was so fun and the food was amazing. Everyone tried it, including the kids. 7 adults couldn't eat all the food that was in that pot. We also had the cornbread, which which was very good too. We would 100% do it again!

This was by far one of the best places we went to while on the island. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. I'm vegan and the girl helped me make a vegan steamer pot!!!! I was so excited about that. My boy is a true meat eater and he loved all the options for his steamer pot. Give them a try You'll thank me later!!

Second time customers and it was awesome. Very easy directions, tasty fresh seafood customized to how you want it. It's pricey, but well worth it. Good cornbread too!

Fast service. Clean. Easy to understand. Reasonable prices. All inclusive. READY TO GO! Even table topper cover. This place has thought of it all.

Fantastic concept and perfect execution by this team. We were just passing through looking for a great seafood option. This place popped up with great reviews. I pulled up expecting a restaurant and got something much better!

For someone vacationing anywhere nearby, this should be the first stop heading in. They walked me through the different bucket setups, provided detailed instructions (easy!), and options for seasonings. I chose the crab and shrimp and headed off with the bucket, instructions, and paper.

This was not planned, and we were just passing through for the day. Luckily, we had a stove and a little time to burn. The helpful employee even gave a tip about somewhere to park around the corner. We parked after 6P in a public lot and didn’t have to pay any fee. We spent the being cooking our steamer, listening to the waves, and had an amazing experience!

If you have the ability to spend some time cooking an easy option, this should be on your must-stop/do list every time you head out to the OBX area. It will be on ours for sure :)

We had a great takeout pot we pre-ordered and was ready when we arrived. It was so easy to prepare at our beach rental and it was delicious! Highly recommend and can’t wait to try it again on our next trip to the coast!

Fabulous! After a long day at the beach the kids were not excited about having to be good sitting in a restaurant, they wanted PJs and tv time. Done! The steamer pot to bring home and enjoy was AMAZING! We were all full and very very happy. Can't wait to visit Topsail again and grab another steamer bucket.

Love this place!! They customize your bucket (which you simply add beer or water to and put on the stove), if you don't want one of the ones they've already expertly assembled. Seasonings are taste specific (try the Jimmy's way) and extra sauces are given for dipping. Buckets are put together with your selections, instructions are given (both verbally and written). Owner was on hand to explain and give suggestions. Follow the instructions and you will be enjoying your very own steam pot in less than an hour!

I recently won a Top Sail Shrimp bucket at the Ana Maria festival. Top Sail is a wonderful seafood takeout restaurant coming to Ana Maria Island. They allowed me to choose any seafood combo I wanted. The shrimp and crab bucket was delicious. The bucket was filled with potatoes, corn, shrimp , crab legs and the seasoning of my choice. The seafood was incredibly fresh and delicious. There was enough food to serve 4 adults. I love concept !! Picking your seafood along with your the Top Sail steaming bucket creates a fun and very easy way to create a great seafood meal wherever you are !!! I give this concept and customer service 5 starts!! Can’t wait for Top Sail to open on Ana Maria Island.
