One Oak

After some last minute changes with our original venue 1.5months before our wedding- Family having already purchased their plane tickets- We needed to change our venue plans. We stumbled upon One Oak, a newly renovated venue, and set up a meeting with Lori. From the initial phone call, Lori eased all of my worries and stress about planning a wedding and the last minute changes. She even recommended Marlene for our wedding cake needs and a referral for a fun photo wall!
Our original wedding date was not available but a date 2 days earlier was. Although, it wasn’t ideal, we figured 2days wouldn’t be too bad/inconvenient if we love the place. Upon arriving on-site, I can honestly say I was surprised to see that such a beautiful venue was, in fact, the middle of a plaza/strip- How strange, we thought.
Although we were not entirely thrilled about the location/placement- it’s what we needed to do or we would postpone entirely.
Lori was so great to speak to and took extreme care with our situation so we decided “it doesn’t matter where we get married, right?!”
Although we had to make all these last minute changes and lose our date, I can honestly say it was the best decision we could have made and my stress had immediately gone away. The knowledge and care provided by Lori and her staff was nothing short of amazing. Brett helped us with catering and her team was great as well! We felt like a million bucks on our wedding day, it turned out better than we imagined and at the end of the day the “plaza” was transformed into our magical wedding venue. Truly grateful 🥰

One Oak was absolutely amazing! We are so thrilled that we chose this location to host our wedding in November 2023! Lori, the event planner was on top of it and made sure that we were fed and everything ran according to plan on our wedding day!! They are definitely a beautiful spot to get married on an affordable budget and offer everything that you need in house! The courtyard was transformed for our Intimate ceremony and the ceremony decor was everything I envisioned! The in-house catering is absolutely delicious and they offer so many different options that all guests will love! We are so happy that we chose the One Oak family for our wedding day needs, and they went above and beyond! Thank you so much!

The venue was perfect for my daughter’s baby shower. Just lovely! Lori was so helpful and a pleasure to work with! We’ll definitely return when we have another event!!

We chose One Oak to host my grandmother’s 90th birthday party, and they made it so easy to make our party everything we hoped it would be. The venue is beautiful, inside and out, and serves as a great “blank canvas” where you could create any atmosphere you envision. Lori, the coordinator, is so flexible and easy to work with, and made me feel at ease knowing her team had everything under control, even though I’m a high strung mess of a human being who is sure that everything will go terribly wrong at all times. Any idea we had, Lori was happy to incorporate, and whenever we weren’t sure what to do, she was ready with helpful suggestions. The go-with-the-flow attitude and enthusiasm for our vision are what I liked best about our experience with One Oak. It’s the little things that also make the difference— they have centerpiece components that you can use as part of your package, and anything they have on hand, from serving trays to lighting, they will gladly provide. I’d never hesitate to book again for the next big deal in our family!

This was the place chosen for my daughter Kassandra's baby shower. Although I thought I was in for sticker shock I was pleasantly surprised. From the venue fees to the catering, all very reasonable and affordable. And, the service - TOP SHELF. We will use this venue again in the future, no doubt! Thank you One Oak!

One Oak provided such an amazing venue for my wife’s birthday celebration. Lori and her crew made planning and execution seamless. Definitely exceeded my expectations.

We held a teacher appreciation event at One Oak and couldn't have been more impressed with the venue, staff and food. Lori and her team were attentive to every one of our needs and the food was delicious. They went above and beyond our expectations.

It took us over a year to find the perfect spot to get married… but we found it. Not only was the venue and setting perfect, the entire staff was amazing from start to finish. Brett and Lori made our fairytale wedding happen and it was flawless. The food was cooked to perfection, the ambience and lighting was surreal. I am not one to leave reviews, good or bad, but this was my exception to the rule… if you are thinking of having a gathering of any kind, let these ladies from One Oak at Hemingway’s compliment your vision and bring it to reality.

We had the pleasure of holding a 100th Birthday Celebration @ One Oak. The event space was beautiful, classy and every detail was perfect. The food was delicious, timed well and service was impeccable. Lori, Brett and their team were phenomenal!

Had my daughter’s wedding there last Sunday and it was amazing. Lori & Brett were awesome to work with. Lori was very attentive to my daughter’s needs on her special day. The food was amazing and the pictures my daughter took came out amazing with the outside lightings and landscape. Would highly recommend this venue for a wedding.

Lori and the One Oak team made our baby shower a wonderful experience. Lori was prompt in responding to emails and also extremely helpful in the planning process. The catered food (from Hemingway's Tavern) did not disappoint and the entire staff is so friendly. I would absolutely recommend One Oak!

Lori and her team was awesome. The place was nicely decorated during the ceremony and the reception. She was on top of everything and mit yo mention the food was good. My wedding day turn out beautiful. I will definitely recommend this venue and I will also use this venue again for my next event.❤❤❤

After successfully hosting two events at this venue I can not only highly recommend location, food, and drinks, but most importantly the service is undoubtedly the best. Brett and Lori far exceeded my expectations; their attentiveness and willingness to go above and beyond spoke volumes of their work ethics and dedication to making any occasion they are hosting a positive and fun experience! The ease and professionalism of working with both Lori and Brett is what will bring me back to this venue!

Beautiful venue! Brett was amazing to work with when planning and the set up came out great. I had my baby shower here and multiple said this was the cutest baby shower they’ve ever been to. I would definitely recommend this place and I would use it again if I need another venue.
