They came in and worked on installing the
EV charger right away and made sure I
understood each step of the process and
were always willing to answer any and all
questions I had regarding the install and the
EV programs as well. The install was fairly
quick and was done very professionally with
most of the wiring hidden amazingly. Chris
and Kenny were a pleasure to work with
throughout the entire process. Highly
recommend them for your EV charger

Henelect installed a interlock kit and outlet setup for my house generator. I am extremely happy with their work. They articulated everything that was needed and installed everything to spec. I was able to really test it out a few weeks ago when a major wind storm knocked out power for days. The gen setup worked flawlessly. Everyone was professional and knowledgeable. I will definitely seek out their services if ever needed again. Excellent company. Thanks again for doing such a great job!!!

I recently moved to Hunterdon county. Having an electric car here without a charger available nearby was not ideal. I found Chris and Ken online and they were able to setup an appointment the next day.

Chris and Ken were very professional with reasonable rates. They explained the various amperage levels and placed the charger exactly where I wanted it in the Garage. While they were setting up the charger, they also setup my wired nest doorbell.

I would recommend Chris and Ken for all your EV charging and other electrical needs.

Chris was amazing. He got our pool filter timer set up—even worked in the rain with thunder going on!! He got the pump working, but the weather got too scary, so he came back at 10 the next morning to get the timer all set up for us. I’ll go with them any day!!

To preface, I was initially going to go with some larger Tesla affiliated company. I had called that initial company and even trying to get scheduled, I didn’t feel the person on the other end took my needs into consideration and was just throwing so many technical terms at me with no explanation and trying to get me locked in as soon as they could. I knew absolutely little about what was what when it comes to charging and what I needed to get done.

I started my search and that’s when I came across Henelect. Garrett the owner, was super welcoming and down to earth. We spoke over the phone when I was initially trying to figure things out and the way things were broken down to me and explained, at a level so I could understand and also learn was really great. I could tell he was really passionate about what he does for a living. This helped me solidify my choice to go with Henelect because I really felt looked after during this whole process. Any concern or question I had, not only did they give an answer but they also explained why. This is important for someone like me who is coming from a place of no electrical knowledge or known how. I didn’t know my panel couldn’t handle the load for EV charging as I was already pretty close to a high load at only 100 AMPs. Every single thing I was unsure about, Henelect made sure I was aware of these details fully before getting the install date sorted and an estimate locked in. I had a lot of questions lol, so I appreciate that they took the time to help me understand everything and didn’t make me feel rushed into something I knew nothing about.

The install day went perfectly. Three gentlemen came by and did the install. Super professional. They came by at the specified time and even brought a portable unit so working from home could be accomplished (I needed a panel upgrade so no power, so the unit they provided really helped). They upgraded our panel from a 100 AMP to 200 AMP one (future proofing as we eventually are considering solar as well). This is an older house so I knew it was going to be a big job. You couldn’t tell, as they made short work of the whole process. The panel install got done and EV charger was the last to be put up. We tested everything out and made sure it was all in working order and my car charges lightning fast! I communicated with Chris a lot who is the owners son and who also did the install. Super nice guy as well! It was just such a seamless experience, I would definitely pick them again for any future electrical work!

I would recommend them to everyone. You can tell the owner is passionate about his work not only through his words but also actions. Their company vehicles are even electric vans which I thought was really cool. For a company promoting electrical work and EV charging installations, a first impression is everything and seeing that the company stands by what they do even when it comes to the type of vehicles they utilize was definitely a plus.

If you’re shopping around for an EV install, give Henelect a call and at the minimum, get an estimate and talk to the owner, Garrett. He’s super knowledgeable and really takes the clients needs into consideration. When deciding where to install, I was conflicted on locations and also charging speed (50 vs 60 AMP circuit). He took the time to break down the differences of both, potential charging times, why a location for the EV charger may better be suited for one location vs another, etc. It just was a really positive experience and I can’t recommend them enough.
