I almost hate to post this, but Rob has the best bait in town. Please don't buy him out before I get mine! One of the best shops for starters to ask questions and experts to get high end equipment. Rob has great local knowledge of the water and what the current conditions are so you maximize your time on the water instead of just hit or miss fishing. Will take time to explain what you need if you're just starting out or show you new things he's gotten in and recommends for specific targeted species. Great store and highly recommend to anyone.

best fishing store within 50 miles no doubt. everything you need is here, i see lost souls in the walmart fishing section wondering what to buy, what to do etc. This is why you go to the experts! fair pricing and a wealth of knowledge. good live bait too. one stop shop for all fishing needs, must stop by in cape coral if you're an angler. 11/10

First time visiting this area and this shop did not disappoint. They set me up with the right tackle and gear. They told me what to fish with and where to fish. Absolutely great knowledge and customer service!

These folks... really helped my husband and I with the right gear and advice. The best place in town for live bait. I'd recommend getting the handpicked shrimp they work every time. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. My go to place for anything fishing related in cape coral.

Fair pricing and most importantly they answer any questions I have respectfully based on my lack of knowledge. I’m not a fisherman however our 6 and 9 year old love it so I am learning.

The staff always takes time to guide us and has plenty of patience for all the kids questions.

My family and came down from Texas for vacation. So I don't know the area. We stopped by just to get some live shrimp. We left with a wealth of knowledge. They were like talking to us not as customer, but it seemed like friend giving us advice about the area and what works. Thanks for making our fishing trip so much fun! This by far is the best bait shop I even been in.

If you don’t know they have the best homemade shrimp chum I have ever seen. Fish in minutes.

We were visiting Cape Coral for a family vacation and needed some tackle for fishing at Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge. They were super nice and knowledgeable about the area and the tackle needed. I would highly recommend Capt Rob's Bait & Tackle.

Super stocked tackle shop, everything you need, they were open on a holiday Sunday selling bait. Just make sure you get there early on the weekend if you are getting shrimp, they might be sold out really early. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff.

I have had my own business and have been in retail for over 40 years. Even though I never shy away from last-minute customers I do try to make sure I’m not one of them. I walked in captain robs today with two minutes to spare not realizing the store closed at 4 o’clock. Scott and the young lady working in there Were cordial, polite and helpful. I recognize at the end of the day sometimes your patience is not always there . I was very pleased with they’re professional attitudes and help. I will be back and I will make sure it’s not at the last minute. Thank you

I was guaranteed by “ big boys bait & tackle”that no shop had big frozen mullet I came to captain robs and they had as many as I need and 🔥shirts

If you like a bait shop where the owner is a robot and has no sense of humor, then this is not the shop for you. Scott not only has the finest bait, tackle, and gear at great prices, he also has great stories, tips and tricks to make you laugh and help catch you fish. So if you can take a joke and make a joke and need anything to get you out fishing. Stop by Capt. Robs. The only thing in this shop that's offensive is Scott's beard, which offends me because I cannot grow one as good.

Seriously, the complaints from some of these people are so petty. I've move in the area about 9 months ago and been to several stores. There pricing for live bait is on par with every other place I have been to and you get decent size shrimp and pins compared to other locations. As far as customer service, I never had any issues and they were eager to answer any questions I may have. Highly recommend.

So I just gotta let you know about these guys top of the line I am a charter boat captain from San Diego San Diego I came out here for a week with my family I stopped at Robs bait and tackle. They were willing to share info showed me what to use. And the rest was history plenty of fish plenty of fun thank you guys!!!!!!! You definitely know how to run a business good job
