A wonderful spot to relax with friends and fantastic food! All meals are “made to order” and the staff tells you to anticipate a wait right away.

Not a single bite was disappointing and our entire group appreciated our experience.

Pictured is the antipasto, tortellini, ravioli, chicken parm, and penne rigate. For dessert, we sampled the cannoli, chocolate cake, and pistachio gelato. The gelato was the favorite of the bunch!

By far my favorite Italian restaurant in the southern NH area, even the whole state so far. This place is the real deal. Everything is made fresh to order, and you can definitely taste that it is. Because of this, the food will take slightly longer than normal but it's worth the wait every time. I do recommend having a reservation because it's a pretty small place so it could full up fast. And because it's small, it could get a little loud but you can still hear your conversations at your table.

This place used to be BYOB but they have it so you can order mixed drinks and beer too. Not a huge selection of beer but it'll do. I would like to see some IPAs available but it actually is kind of good they don't have any because those would fill you up so much, that you won't be able to eat as much of the delicious food. The espresso martini I ordered was one of the best ones I've had, definitely recommend it.

As far as the food, the warm crispy bread with the dipping oil was so addicting to it, I couldn't stop. We ordered the bruschetta as well and I'm glad I got a 2piece because the pieces of bruschetta are HUGE. And to no surprise these were amazing. For the main meal, I got the chicken parm. This chicken just melts in your mouth it's so tender and cooked to perfection along with the sauce all on it and on the pasta. Top notch chicken parm, my favorite chicken parm anywhere. My girlfriend got the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and like my chicken, it melted in your mouth. This dish also didn't taste heavy like some Alfredo dishes are.

Also an important thing, they do accommodate a severe peanut/ treenut allergy. We did not have a problem with that.

I cant recommend this place enough. The chef Angelo really knows how to make an authentic Italian meal the right way and I will never stop coming back!

This place is adorable, cozy, and romantic. The pasta was delicious. This is not a "quick dinner" type of place. But it's worth the wait!

My sister and I are visiting New Hampshire, and we went here tonight. This is by far the best Italian food I've ever had in my life. Yes it took a while to our order but it was so high quality, and worth the wait 10 times over. I wish I lived closer to New Hampshire and I would be a regular here. Didn't get pics cuz I was an idiot but the food was amazing.

We tried this place on our mission to find good homemade Italian food. What a pleasurable experience. All the food was some of the best Italian we've had.

I stopped in to purchase a gift certificate for friends and the place is a wonderful little family old world Italian restaurant.

If you hate joy & made to order food, don’t go here. It’s always been great imo but tonight was literally nothing short of amazing. The wine was well balanced, the server intuitive & efficient, and all the food was “drop your shoulders, roll your eyes in the back of your head, Emma Stone from ‘Easy A’ YUM!” I’m going to go through dopamine withdrawls tomorrow

This place was absolutely amazing... The wait staff was so pleasant and made us feel super comfortable... The food takes a little bit but trust me... It's worth the wait! You will not be disappointed. Our food was outstanding... I had spaghetti Bella Napoli and my husband had beef ravioli... Both were incredible! It's BYOB so bring wine ( or beer) .... I assure you once you go... You will be a repeat customer. ❤👍

An exceptional meal! Recommend reservations, especially for more than 2. Bring your own wine/beer, they will chill and open for an exceptional corkage fee. Plan to enjoy good conversation, this is not a fast dinner, and it shouldn't be. EVERYTHING is made from scratch when you order ! Every bite of everything I tried was exquisite. The service is great, perfect atmosphere. An absolute Gem - so glad we spotted it and turned around to come back. I will be there again tomorrow for dinner....and Everytime I am back in Manchester!

There's not a lot of great restaurant choices in Manchester. However, Mangia is a true diamond in the rough. I can be hyper critical of Italian restaurants because I grew up in a very traditional Italian American family. It's hard to beat Grandma's cooking. Mangia feels like home; small, intimate, warm and friendly service, and every thing made from scratch. I am SO happy to have found this wonderful Italian restaurant. We will be frequenting it for as long as we live in New Hampshire.

Absolutely amazing little piece of Italy in the Queen City!!! The Decor is absolutely amazing! Classy! VERY AUTHENTIC ITALIAN VIBES!!!

The food is absolutely amazing and the staff are friendly and patient!!

I will say due to the size of it being little nook shaped restaurant when you first walk in you walk right into where everyone is eating and I'm not sure if they're usually someone there to greet you but there's not like a certain place where you walk in and get greeted but that's not even a big deal at all just putting that out there for people who are a little bit socially anxious if nobody spots you and you walk in you kind of have to wait until someone offers to see you if you Don't have a personality like me where I just go find someone LOL!! And like I said that's totally not even a bad thing it's just due to the shape of the restaurant but it might be off-putting to some :)

But I certainly give this restaurant five stars 10 out of 10!!

Absolutely the BEST Italian food in the Southern New Hampshire. The ambiance is wonderful but the FOOD IS DELICIOUS! Don't forget to bring your own wine. Liquor is not served here. Chicken Alfredo with a nice bottle of Chianti!

Awesome food! Appetizers were delicious and reasonable, and while we didn't order entrees, they other diners seemed to be enjoying them. Waitstaff was polite amd attentive even though they were very busy. Enjoyed our meal thoroughly. Would definitely go again- and would make a reservation next time. BYOB- but there is a huge state liquor store across the street.

Updating my review from last time. Food is still great two years later. Stick to the specials on the menu, the veal in particular is outstanding (pictured in front). They are no longer BYOB.

Original Review: Very authentic Italian-American food on par with what you would find in the North End of Boston. $5.95 corking fee and BYOB. Prepare to wait a while for your food, but it's worth it.

This is by far authentic.
Eaten many places here in Manchester
Price is expensive.
Yet totally worth it.
Food is cooked fresh and seasoned well
Well portioned
And to ensure you do get best service
Make sure you make a reservation prior before.
Enjoy!

So so good! Had the best Italian meal ever last night. The veal Gusta is amazing. Been going for years and always fantastic. Everything is made to order so it's all fresh. Being a smaller restaurant the service is more personalized.

Traveling for business, we were looking for a place to come for our 10-year date anniversary! This was the most quaint and romantic place that we could possibly find! And the food is made with love and attention! So delicious! Each plate is made to order, so don't come in a rush! 💕

The tortellini with chicken was one of the best dishes I’ve had in the past…I don’t know, I can’t remember a better dining experience out.

My husband and I ate here for the first time last weekend and it was wonderful. The food is made to order and you can absolutely tell. I had the gnocchi and my husband had the Chicken Marsala and both were delicious. Prices are reasonable, staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and romantic but not at all stuffy.
