On Shore Surf Shop

George was helpful, accommodating and professional. We rented kayaks and bikes. He was able to pick up and drop off the kayaks we rented. We will absolutely rent with On Shore Next time we are in town.

We were there for our Christmas break. George was really fantastic and very flexible. We rented bikes, body suits and surf boards. He is very friendly and was even very flexible with Prices. We also took surf lessons. George is all about customer satisfaction.

We had a great time kayaking with Sara and the crew. Very knowledgeable about the environment. Everyone is extremely friendly. A fantastic way to see the awesome nature around the Surf City intracoastal area.

Cool shop and even cooler folks! Wish I remembered the guys name that helped me out ( Nick, I think) he was super helpful and informative in helping select the next board for my kids. Had the chance to meet the owner George as well, great people and great experience! I highly recommend this place!

Wonderful experience! We took a good size group out kayaking and they had everything set up and ready to go. Right on the sound too! Definitely recommend.

Very cool shop with lots of local clothes, stickers and surf accessories. Good selection of boards even though its end of season. The owner/operator was an older man (looked like a surf veteran) with an awesome goatee and was easy to talk too. I needed a padded bumper to help easy the strap pressure when carrying SUP's and instead of selling me a $20 product he told me how to make one for only a few dollars. Integrity can go a long way and is why I will come back! Great place to rent paddle boards and surf boards. He carries skim boards, hats, quality sun shirts, and awesome stickers. If your coming to the beach you cant miss the store just off the old bridge on the right.

My dad and I came in late one night to buy surf rods for this shop while we were staying on surf city beach. Not only did the guys and girl running the shop stay open a couple minutes late for is, they provided us with great information on fishing the island. They also saved us money on line as the guy strung both of our rods free of change. This is an awesome surf shop with great people working it, we will absolutely be back the next time we visit topsail!

These guys are great. We rented bikes and paddle boards while we were in Topsail. They had the best deals and customer service of any of the shops around. The quality of their rentals are great too.

Went there today to get some info on skimboarding. Being from Northern MN, but moving down to NC it's about time to trade in the snowboard for something a little more suitable for the beach. A buddy from work had recommended this place over any other surf shop in Surf City. Awesome customer service, very friendly and even a military discount. Will definitely be returning.

Over July 4th week my family and I were vacationing at Surf City. My son had been saving his money to buy a new skim board. He found one at On Shore Surf Shop he liked, so we bought it. Within a few hours of him using it, the board somehow split on the end. We took it back hoping to have it repaired. The owner went above and beyond what was expected to make my son happy. Instead of just repairing the board, he exchanged the board for another one and even gave him a replacement pad to fit the board. Being a small business owner myself, I love dealing with local family owned businesses. On Shore Surf Shop showed us outstanding customer service and I will highly recommend them to anyone looking a surf board or anything surf related.

We called on a Saturday morning and the staff was very friendly. He (I apologize for not getting your name) was very helpful, delivered our kayak and paddleboard to the park, put in the water for us, and recommended area with less boat traffic.

We had a vehicle break down right in front of their shop, and they let us grab some water from them so that we could fill our coolant and head out, very kind and generous and really helped us in a bind
