This post office is nothing short of amazing! I sell online and have packages that need to be dropped off multiple times a week, they are always super friendly and helpful and make everything extremely easy for me!!

Update: September 11, 2023. I’ll leave all 5 stars BUT I changed it to “Most” instead of “All.” I’ll submit a separate review to make this not the focus of the jerk manager Bob.

Has the potential to be the office in town. Most of the staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. The interior is open after hours has ample amount of P.O. Boxes if you need. The counter service area is always clean and well stocked. The location is safe and easily accessed. And the carriers do a great job, never had anything lost. Thank you! Often a service that goes without appreciation. The manager is a total jerk. Everyone else? Good job!

Dave made my day. I lost a very important receipt with an important tracking number. Dave at the Fair Oaks Post Office worked with me for about 10 minutes until he located my transaction and reprinted it. Thank you SO MUCH Dave for helping me and others solve our postal problems.

Sometimes it's very busy and sometimes it's empty. Don't take it out on the staff.

John was really helpful and friendly. I walked in at 5:00 pm (closing time) and he helped me with what I need.

The staff here has often gone out of their way. John and others have retrieved my parcels even when it is closing time; many people in line get rude, but the staff there are always polite.
Updated 08 March 20: I'd also really like to recognize Frank: I work 8 to 4:30, so I'm always getting to the post office right at 5:00, yet he has never shut the door on me and assists me. Frank is a lesson in patience that I'd like to carry with me to my own job.

Sherry is the absolute best! I sell online and have outgoing packages nearly every day. She makes sure my packages get picked up and even lets me know if she will be gone in case her backup misses my pickup. Bonus: Sherry is super personable and upbeat!

I have always been able to get in and out of this post office in a reasonable amount of time. The postal employees have always taken the time with each customer to make sure they were fully taken care of, without rushing, before moving on to the next customer.

Great location on Sunrise and Winding Ave not far from Hwy 50. Has a drive thru post box in front for convenience.
Staff are professional and friendly and always answer any questions I have.
The office is well stocked with mailing supplies & Stationary items.
Easy access and ample parking.

I accidently dropped an unmarked envelope containing personal information in the outgoing mail, I thought it was a lost cause but I took a chance and called the Post Office. I spoke with TJ who was so courteous and helpful, once he heard what happened he promised to look for the item and within ten minutes he called back to let me know that he'did recovered my item. I'm very grateful and wanted to commend TJ for his excellent customer service, you make your branch look good!

Very helpful staff I thought. No complain here. Not sure where and why others commented differently. For the past 10+ years I've been going to this branch the staff have always been friendly and helpful.

I have used this post office to reserve my vacation mail and to buy stamps as well as send a few packages. They've been busy a few times but they have always been helpful to me and they deal with the line well.

I've lived in Fair Oaks for the last 26 years andhave always been totally impressed by the service I've received there - the staff have always been so friendly, helpful and always highly professional!

Thot this location was closed, but they are open. Friendly staff. No waiting in line (Orangevale location)
