Mangia Bistro & Bar

This was our first time dining at Mangia and it was a great experience! While it was very quiet, it was an intimate atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious and generously portioned. The waitress was friendly and attentive to our needs - bringing drink refills without asking. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone - locals and visitors alike. We will be dining at Mangia again soon!

I was in the mood for Italian while away for work. When I arrived I parked in their lot. I walked in and was greeted and sat at the bar. The place was nice. Peter was my bartender and server, and he was great! I started with the espresso martini, and it was good. I then had a glass of Pinot nior, which I enjoyed. For dinner I had the chicken parm and it was huge! It was very good! I enjoyed my experience!

FIVE STARS all around!! We had the best meal ever this past Monday night (yes, they're open Mondays!). The food is mind blowing and the menu is loaded with too many amazing options! Everyone is so friendly too and the atmosphere is beautiful. A hidden Scranton gem for sure! We will be back for sure to try what we couldn't our first time there!

We were very angry when we were in Scranton and we googled the restaurant near us and stumbled upon this amazing bistro. Everything was excellent. From the Barata and truffle fries to the clams and eggplant roll Latini finishing off with penne à la vodka with shrimp and pistachio cake, we will be back. Thank you for everything.

From service to cocktails to apps to entree' and dessert, they check all the boxes. Everything is fresh and delicious. I ordered a cocktail not on the menu (I'm an old fashioned snob) and it was perfect. Definitely telling everyone about this place!!!!

Excellent food. Casual dining house with a great chef. The staff, Jade and Johnie, made us feel very welcome. I was concerned that the photos showed no table cloths, but they had linen napkins, cold salad plates, and the white wine was perfectly cold. I had the pasta carbonara and would highly recommend.

The food quality is exceptional. The service is even better. The cost is reasonable for such fine dinning.

What a great find! We were looking for a place to get a nice salad and found so much more… nice glass of wine, great food, great service, relaxing and romantic atmosphere with Frank Sanatra singing to us. Highly recommend for a lovely evening out for some terrific Italian food. To top it off, service with a sweet personality! Do give it a try.

These folks know what they're doing! Seafood perfectly cooked, spices just so and desserts that knock you out. With a jazz soundtrack. Just about as good as it gets. Come, mangia and enjoy one of the best restaurants in the area!

We came here because the place wwwe were headed was closed. So glad they were! Shared a Caesar sald. Very fresh, good portion. The we had the grilled chorizo over white beans. OMGeeee! Perfect. The beans were cooked with fresh tomatoes, garlic and spinach. Perfect meld of flavors. Then the Buccatini de Carbonara. So creamy, subtle flavors and thick chunks of pancetta. No room for dessert. Service was great. Very attentive. We will definitely be back!

Truly a hidden gem in North Scranton. We came for my wife's birthday with our family and friends and every meal and dessert was delectable!!

Food and service are excellent, there were 8 of us and everyone enjoyed our dinner, drinks etc. The bartender makes great martinis. We all would definitely recommend this restaurant

This restaurant is a hidden gem, tucked away in a busy section of North Scranton, the food was excellent along with the service , my wife and I will definitely be returning

Our family loved everything about the place. Lamb was cooked to perfection. Vodka sauce was amazing. Great ambiance and fantastic service. Great presentation of food too.
