Aversa's Italian Bakery

This may be the best bakery I have ever had! The french macaroons, Jewish apple cake, and non pareil pretzels were so good. Their prices are reasonable and everything we tried was delicious. Oh and did I mention the cannoli... holey moley! It is worth a trip to Brigantine just for the bakery!

The desserts are Heavenly. I got 2 large boxes of different kinds of Italian Pastry's and a bag of Biscotti. I will definitely be a regular customer. High 5's for the great desserts and the employees are the sweetest. ❤ ps the Cheese pockets are incredibly. Have to buy more they went too fast.

The baked goods are incredible. The best cookies and many other offerings. The bread is amazing. Their "bread sticks" are absolutely delicious. They also sell heros and Italian foods and goods. Very friendly staff. It's waaay too easy to drop a hundred or more in here. I also buy breads and cookies and send them to a friend in Freeport NJ. That's how good it is. Even good enough for me to spend $40 on Ubers back and forth. Yep ...that good!!!!
UPDATE 09/15/23: While their baked goods are very good I was disgusted by someone who appeared to be the manager there. I was there 2x today with my service dog. I was paying for my purchase and the woman came out in front of many people in the store and said very loudly that I have to pick up my dog (which would have put it at counter level). I stated that it is a service dog and she stated " Ok, but you have to pick it up". I was a bit embarrassed that she said that in front of so many people but she should be way more embarrassed by making ignorant remarks to me and presenting herself like she has no knowledge of ADA laws !!!! This is disgusting. I will be filing a complaint with the ADA , and can only hope that she learns both the laws and some manners.

OMG, a slice of South Philly at the shore. Food never disappoints. Service is fast and efficient. Simply the best. Try the pastries and hoagies.

Food was delicious and you could tell it was fresh because it was hot, the workers were so nice and they gave my son a free cookie. Atmosphere was great it smelled super fresh, was clean, and had a nice ocean breeze

Oh my! Don't miss this place! Incredible! Best biscotti ever! And those cookies! Next time I'm taking a cooler to bring home some of their pasta!

So, so good. A must visit any time we're in Brigantine! Love the breakfast sandwiches, rolls, and especially the pastries. Fresh baked donuts, cookies, brownies, cupcakes, and so much more. The pricing is good. Their cheese pocket is one of the best things I have ever tasted!

I stop over every time and one day by accident I came across this place and damn y'all are great and delicious with desserts bread and even over the counter food that you want to have prepared I walk out every time spending 50 to $60 and the customer service is like too much like home run can't get better than that. My partner and I love eating here stopping over picking up stuff especially now for the holidays this has been one of our special places bringing stuff to friends and family.

Aversa's is outstanding! I am extremely picky, but their pastry items are delicious and light (not starchy and dense). Best Italian bakery for miles. I especially like their chocolate croissants, Cherry turnovers, and cheese pockets. There is a huge selection of pastries, cakes, and pies. Love this place being right next to Brigantine Beach. Perfection!

Woke up wanting a donut, ended up getting everything but lol. Walking in the smell alone was mouthwatering. To see the assortment of pastries and muffins, rolls, cakes, sweets, I got 2 of a bunch of different things for my family and I. The bread was soft and flaky, the cannolis were delicious (both the chocolate chip and regular), and they had a spinach pastry that was prefect for my sister with dietary restrictions. The staff was friendly and helpful, will definitely be back.

Great variety of sandwiches on fresh baked rolls, a lovely array of Italian baked goods, they also have an assortment of Italian cold salads and Stromboli's made and ready for heating up. We love going early on beach days and eating on the beach. The staff is very helpful and polite.If I could give more stars I would. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The chocolate muffin and apple turnover were straight🔥 The folks behind the counter were so friendly! They had lots of options and good vibes!

Stopped by after breakfast and picked up mini cannoli's, carrot cake and cheese pockets. Very good. My favorite, the cheese pockets...OMG, flaky crust and filled with a delicious sweet cream. The bakery also had chocolate covered pretzels, cookies and a large variety of desserts and pizza. They even carry my favorite ravioli...P&S in their freezer.
