My wife and I booked Shadow Creek for our wedding in 2023 because we loved the open feel of the indoor space, the romantic vibe, and the privacy it offered. It ended up being the perfect location for our ceremony and reception!

They have such an amazing team that made our dream come to life. They are organized, friendly, and flexible. Our day turned out exactly as we imagined and it is thanks to their exceptional team!

Another great perk of this venue is their rental properties right down the street. We were able to book both rental properties for the wedding party and it gave us peace of mind for day of coordination. We forgot a few things at the rental and had to drive back, but it wasn't a problem because they were so close by.

They have such a special venue and location that doesn't compare to anywhere else. We are so happy and fortunate to have had the opportunity to get married here - they've provided us with so many priceless memories to last a lifetime.

Please seriously consider this venue if you are planning to get married, you won't regret it!

Shadow Creek is such a beautiful venue!! We looked at so many venues in NOVA and I don’t think this place could have been more perfect. Lori was SO helpful from our initial tour all the way up to our wedding day, making the planning process seamless. The whole team there is so great! Beautiful setting, private outdoor courtyards, easy parking, clean, bar stations set up in strategic locations with nice accommodating restrooms. Perfect for weddings, reunions, anniversaries and birthdays. A great hidden location.

After searching through dozens of venues throughout NOVA, we knew Shadow Creek was the perfect location for us the moment we stepped onto the property. From our initial tour to our wedding day, Lori (the owner) and her team made the planning process seamless. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and dedication to your wedding day are unparalleled. The location itself is picturesque and manages to provide ample space while creating an intimate setting to celebrate with your loved ones. We highly recommend Shadow Creek to any couples searching for a beautiful, well-run venue to get married in Virginia's countryside.

We loved capturing our couple here!! The beautiful Virginia countryside surrounding the location makes the perfect backdrop for any outdoor ceremony, and the "barn" is a perfect reception choice - as well as a great backup if the weather is disagreeable. The staff was very accommodating with moving the ceremony indoors when rain swept in - and it still made a gorgeous and charming space! The suites were lovely - can't go wrong with this venue!! Nestled amidst lush greenery, Shadow Creek Weddings & Events is a gorgeous wedding venue. Its beautiful outdoor space was an ideal choice for our wedding ceremony. And, the rustic indoor barn space was perfect for our evening reception.

This is a review from a bride that booked Shadow Creek for her July wedding. From the moment we visited Shadow Creek and met with Lori we knew we had to book this venue. Lori was kind, helpful, and calm. She explained everything so thoroughly and then took a few calls afterward to clarify any questions I had. The venue is so beautiful it doesn't need any selling :) But Lori and team really shined as the planning process went on. They answered questions IMMEDIATELY and were available anytime we needed. On the wedding day, we were met a really large unexpected thunderstorm and all the programs we had laid out on chairs outside started to get wet. I was pretty distraught but Lori sprang into action and started drying out the ones that had been salvaged, put them into a basket and they were fine! She and Jimmy are just such professionals I was in awe. They've clearly done this a million times and done it really well. After the storm passed the venue was the most beautiful setting I've been in. Guests wouldn't stop gushing. I highly recommend choosing Shadow Creek as your wedding venue. Booking Shadow Creek was the best decision we could have made. From the first time we visited and met with Lori we knew we loved Shadow Creek and our wedding day was everything we could have hoped for and more. So many people complimented the venue as well as the venue staff. Working with their recommended vendors makes your life during the planning process SO much easier, outside of catering we also chose mostly vendors who have worked at Shadow Creek and I truly believe it made our day run so smoothly. Lori is so great to work with, from our first visit, to our walk through, all the questions in between, she is even there on wedding day. Although we had planned to get married outside, we actually chose to move our ceremony inside on a hot summer day and we weren't even upset about it because the inside options are just as beautiful as the outside. Cocktail hour out front on the porch, and of course with Gus, is the perfect setting. There's so many details, the landscaping made for incredible photos!
We also chose to book the Shiloh which we were so happy with. It gave my girls and I all a place to sleep the night before, a place to relax and do hair and makeup the morning of, and my husband and I spent our wedding night there and it was so peaceful to wake up there.

We could not have dreamt of a better venue to have our wedding. Jimmy and the whole team made sure our day was seamless and stress-free. They have a plan for every situation, including when our outdoor ceremony had to be moved inside due to a tropical storm. Lori was easy to contact and quick to respond to any questions we had during the planning process. We also booked Shiloh for the weekend which was the best decision! We used Shiloh as our getting ready house which was so convenient since it’s located right across the street from Shadow Creek. We have nothing but good things to say about the team who runs Shadow Creek and Shiloh!

Great venue for weddings! Beautiful sight view, the place is simple but at the same time elegant. We had a great time this past Saturday at one of my friends wedding. The reception was good even though it rained like crazy we were still able to enjoy the outdoor space

From the second we took a tour, Shadow Creek was our dream wedding venue. Couples come in and out of their doors every week but when it is your day the Shadow Creek Wedding team goes above and beyond to make you feel like their priority. A few examples: there was a downpour about an hour before our ceremony. As soon as the sun came out the owner Lori was outside with a leaf blower drying the patio. We were also short a few chargers for plates and Lori ran home to grab some similar ones for us to use. She even held my dress while I walked across wet grass and before I walked down the aisle. All things you might expect from a good friend or family member, but feel so special coming from a wedding venue. We had a completely stress free experience because Shadow Creek has a plan B for almost every possible situation and ensured that all of the details we went over in our month out walk through were executed exactly as we discussed. We felt so lucky to get married in such a beautiful venue with owners that truly care about their couples. The cherry on top was the guest of honor, Gus, who joined us for cocktail hour. I can’t recommend the venue and experience enough!

Shadow Creek Weddings and Events is a lovely wedding venue with so much space available for your wedding day! The staff are so helpful and everything there is gorgeous with plenty of room for your reception. I highly recommend it for the joyful couple planning a luxurious, exquisite and romantic wedding day!

As a local wedding photographer (Maddy Williams Photography), I absolutely love getting to work at Shadow Creek. Not only is the venue stunning inside and out, Lori and her team go above and beyond to help couples host the wedding day of their dreams. The barn is the perfect canvas to create a variety of different wedding backdrops and fits all different styles while being able to host large guest counts. My favorite part is their beautiful bridal suite, which provides the bride and her girls the perfect space for them to prepare in the morning. The Shadow Creek team is really passionate about hosting events and weddings and is a pleasure to work with. I recommend them to all couples looking for a venue in Loudoun County!

We literally have no words to describe how beyond obsessed we are with Shadow Creek, Lori, and her fabulous team! From day one, Lori was soooo sweet and patient when we toured the venue. She made us immediately fall in love with her and the venue and we knew right away that we were going to be in capable hands. She was always so fast to respond via email that I felt like I was texting her rather than emailing. On the day of the wedding, Lori made me feel so stress-free and her calm demeanor immediately put me at ease, which allowed us to soak in the moments even more because the day truly does pass by so fast!

Brides, run do not walk and book Shadow Creek and their Team right away for your BIG day. It was so worth it! I promise you, you will not regret it because if I could, I would want to relive this day again and again if I could.

I love Shadow Creek and the family! Lori, Jenna and Leah are so wonderful to work with. It is such an amazing venue and I was thrilled to do events there for work. Beautiful bridal suite and gorgeous views. This space allows you to do really creative ideas and is picture perfect.

This is a beautiful location for a wedding. The facility is a barn themed structure that is situated on a hill in Purcellville Virginia. There are many great photo possibilities here, especially during the hour of sunset on good weather days.

We loved having Shadow Creek as our wedding venue! The building and surrounding areas are spectacularly beautiful. The string lighting and drapery they have in the building really elevate the inside above your typical barn style venue. Lori and her team at Shadow Creek were also exceptionally helpful, suggesting an incredible team of vendors for our wedding, helping us make a great plan for the flow of the wedding, and helping throughout the day of the event! We loved getting married here and couldn’t imagine having our day anywhere else!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! You will absolutely love getting married here - and so will your guests!! We got engaged in 2019 and planned everything in early 2020-so when we had to postpone a whole year, to 2022 because of COVID, we lost our original venue. And I’m so grateful we did! Shadow Creek is one of, if not THE, most beautiful wedding locations in VA. Everything was absolutely perfect. Lori was more responsive than I ever imagined, answered any of my questions right away, and helped us the entire way leading up to the big day. She ensured every detail we wanted for the day was prepared for and provided us with the perfect list of vendors that she had experience with. Her sincerity and knowledge guided us to truly have the *perfect wedding.* We cannot imagine getting married anywhere else, and having worked with anyone else. Thank you for the experience - and the kindness - truly a world class experience.

As a planner, Shadow Creek is absolutely superb to work with! Lori is so responsive and easy to work with. On the day of, I worked with Jimmy twice and he's quick thinking, on the move and always going out of his way to make sure the couple is happy. Shadow Creek is STUNNING! It's such a gorgeous venue with nearly a 360 view of the rolling hills. Aside from the look of it, the family owned vibe is unlike any other view - they are all so kind, accommodating, and truly enthusiastic about hosting events. Highly recommend!!
