Less stocked than Home Depot or Lowes but the customer service at Value is outstanding one of the few stores left where people lend a hand

Staff are always friendly and very , very helpful. Though Value Home Center may not be a big box store it may just have what their competition does not. It is my first "go to" store when shopping.

Good stuff great bargains helpful people in and out fast

They always have what I am looking for and save me a trip to their much bigger competitor.

With the winter storm being as bad as it is, I had such a magical experience with the employees at this location. Joe and Tom are the names I remember most. But Joe specifically helped us out from the moment we walked in to the moment we were cashed out. Joe was very informative with every question that was thrown at him. 100/10 best experience ever at this location. We even shared a dad joke before I left. Definitely looking forward to going there again soon 😊

The employees here are the absolute best, everybody does their best to try and help you. Definitely don't get this kind of service at Home Depot or Lowe's where you have to search high and low for somebody who has a fraction of an idea of what they're talking about.

We were taken care of promptly and they had what we searched other stores for. Simple metric 2 inch screws. Thank you Tru-Value!

I love Value Home Center off of Elmwood and Hertel. It is very clean and well organized. Every employee is friendly and knowledgeable about the products they sell! The sales are also good - I bought smoke alarms and a carbon monoxide detector! It is such an easy stop with a huge parking lot!!

Staff has alwas been helpful. They'll make recommendations if the store doesn't carry an item.

Best place to find all the things needed for your home. Paint, hardware, tools, lighting, flooring. I’m amazed by the personal attention and selection they provide. If I’m in the Buffalo are, I’m shopping at Valu.

Love this place. Def more mom n pop than Lowes or home depot and the workers know there stuff n want to help you. Worth the extra $1.00 it might cost for whatever im buying to get the personal touch of a regular family run business

Great place to shop if you don't want to be distracted by items that you don't need to buy like the other store (remaining nameless). Staff are attentive and friendly too!

Their employees are helpful and attentive, they don't just tell you where something is they actually take the time to walk you to the product and a lot of times it'll explain the proper uses of it or make some other products that they may need you may need in conjunction with your project. Awesome store.

Valu is known in WNY for excellent customer service and friendly staff. I haven't found a location or an employee who doesn't meet those expectations. Good weekly specials often get me in the store as it happens that I frequently need something that happens to be on sale. Nice, clean stores. Good selection, not overwhelming, which is nice. Usually for a quick trip to the hardware store, this is my preference. So many nearby that it's easier than a big box store slog. My senior mom loves Valu because she doesn't have to search for anything and employees will lead her there or get whatever she needs.

One of the best hardware and store in general I've been. Staff there is always eager to help and to give you the assistance and advise you nee for your projects. I've been going to this store since 2013 and no complaints. I would highly recommend.

I stopped in to pickup a few (7) screws for so e dining room chairs. Of course, the mass of available screws is amazing. That said, "Danny" was a fantastic help! Thanks, again, Danny!
