KJ's Coffee: Northgate's Best-Kept Secret!

KJ's Coffee is hands down the best coffee shop in Northgate, and I'd argue it's a strong contender for the best in all of Seattle! The staff is incredibly welcoming and always makes us feel right at home, even when we bring our furry friends. Our cats love their cat-a-chinos!

What sets KJ's apart is their amazing customer service and pet-friendly atmosphere. It's clear they genuinely care about their customers and their community. Plus, the coffee is phenomenal! I love trying their limited edition drinks – they never disappoint.

We live really close so we come here a lot. Yeah the drive thru is nowhere near as fast as Starbucks, so don’t come here in a hurry. Otherwise, consistently great coffee, great selection of rotating seasonal drinks, and great customer service. I think it’s perfect for a lazy Sunday.

I was looking for a nearby coffee shop for a hot Carmel macchiato. It was super close with some great reviews… “best cup of coffee I’ve ever had.” I was super happy they had a drive through because parking gives me so much anxiety in Seattle. Thank you for that! It really was one of the best Carmel macchiatos I’ve ever had. It wasn’t on the menu so I was a little nervous to find out what I would get but it was literally perfect. I have to be honest my favorite part was the 2 (not 1, not zero) 2 beautiful chocolate coffee beans on top. This sealed the deal for me, one was like white chocolate/milk chocolate polka dot and the other was plain chocolate. Omg they were literally the best chocolate covered coffee beans I’ve ever had. I came back the very next day for round 2, only got 1 chocolate covered coffee bean this time (I’ll take what I can get.) I would love if I got 2 on top every single time. I will be coming here much more often. I work as a hospice nurse and I’m always driving around the area, so happy to have found this little gem of a place!! Friendly staff too. But really thank you for the drive through and the coffee beans. It really made my day and gave me a much needed smile and uplifted me in all the ways I needed!

Cute little place with yummy food and coffee. The Dark chocolate mocha was not too sweet and had the perfect amount of caffeine. Price wise everything was worth it!

This a great coffee stand, my favorite in the area (honestly, my favorite in the state). I can take my dog on a nice walk here, see some friendly faces, get some excellent coffee and feel good about supporting a local business instead of a mega corporation. They have creative seasonal drinks, most recently they had a fundraiser for Toys for Tots with pictures with Santa and food and drinks specials that was quite delightful. I hope they are here for awhile, I know I'm not alone in knowing they are a lovely addition to the neighborhood.

If you want a great coffee, early Sunday morning, then you'd go to KJ's. My choice today was a cup of latte. @KJ's: direction for improvement is to get Google/Apple pay option. But coffee is already a top one!

Best coffee experience I had in Seattle. The vibe was cozy, local, and friendly. We tried the holiday flavors of Frosty Nog and Holly Jolly Matcha. We were shocked by all the questions she asked us in a good way. She made sure that our coffee was just right and showed that they knew their stuff.
While we were waiting for our coffee, we talked about holiday plans, and it legit felt like we were local regulars.
We had our drinks, and idk if you've ever had a double take at your coffee. Like you drink it and then drink it another time just to make sure you just drunk what you had drank, but it was amazing. Temperature was just right to drink right away, coffee was creamy and smooth, the matcha HUGGED my tongue.
All in all, a perfect experience. Would totally recommend and bring friends who are visiting to know Seattle coffee.

Wonderful coffee... I love the iced white chocolate mocha and my man loves the dark chocolate mocha. They're always so kind of our dog and their Pizza bagels are out of sight. Friendly service with a smile.

Stopped by KJ's for the first time this morning and I will be back! They have a large menu of hot and iced drinks, and even specialty drinks for the season. I got the seasonal Haystack latte and the sausage, cheese, and egg bagel sandwich. Both are great! I will be back!

Absolutely love KJ's! Everyone is always so friendly and lovely to speak to. If I request a particularly strong coffee I am never disappointed here. KJ's has fueled many a hard workday for me and I'm forever grateful. Y'all are the best! <3

Fantastic little coffee stand that fits right into the neighborhood. Good location next to two bus stops with both walk up and drive through service. Friendly staff, reasonable priced drinks, and they give all of the doggies cookies. What's not to love?

Always so friendly. They remembered my drink after just a few trips. They have great coffee and can get white coffee which is harder to find and easier on my stomach. Love

I've been so excited for this spot to open. We got coffees there today through the walk up window. Amazing. Customer service was phenomenal. I loved the americano and chocolate covered espresso beans. My brother's chai was SO GOOD. Even my puppy loved her milk bone. We will be coming often!
