Potomac Tile & Carpet is my go-to place for flooring in my home. They have a great selection of flooring, and the staff are knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. The flooring installers are very professional and efficient. The are careful with your furniture and leave the area clean when they are done with the job. I highly recommend Potomac Tile & Carpet.

Russell was terrific to work with while shopping for tile. We were between a more affordable tile and one that was a historically accurate one. It worked out that we aren't working with Potomac moving forward, but I cannot say enough good about Russell's communication and effort in this short project.

Scott was great, patient. He took his time and figured out our needs, wants and desires. Made various recommendations to make sure that our decision was to our satisfaction. Very professional. Some other flooring companies seem to ride their years in business and seem to have lost customer skills. I would highly recommend Potomac tile and carpet for your flooring needs. Great,people, service, product and price was good too.

Visited the store last Friday. We were looking for flooring for a new room for our home. Our POC asked excellent questions, listened to our input, and helped us select the right product and color for the room while staying within our budget. They do prefer appointments but that means you will be waited on and given thorough attention during your appointment. Worth the drive from Rockville!

We had new carpets installed and a new kitchen floor installed very professionally done. Everyone was extremely nice and wanted to please us which they did with a great job, my husband is a perfectionist and thinks the guys were the best. All we have to say is that it was perfection!

Before the Thanksgiving holiday, we contracted Potomac Tile & Carpet to install some carpet. We've used them before and have been very happy with their work. We had extended family coming in from out of state to stay with us, but we had plenty of time to get the carpet down before they arrived - or so we thought. We ordered the carpet and scheduled the install. When the carpet arrived, it was not the carpet we ordered and so we had to wait another week for the right carpet to show up from the factory. This was ok as we still had some time before the holiday. On the second order, the factory again sent the wrong carpet. This was a problem because we had scheduled a furniture delivery and also really needed the space for our visiting family. One of the owners, Wayne, took personal responsibility for the situation and spoke frequently to the factory, providing us with updates as he got them. Ultimately, the carpet we wanted was not going to make it in time for Thanksgiving, so Wayne had his people come out and install carpet, at his cost, in the room as a temporary solution to the problem. Several weeks later, the right carpet arrived and was installed in our home and it looks great. Customer service is easy when things go exactly as planned, but much more challenging when they don't. Because of the way they stepped up to find a solution for us, Potomac Tile & Carpet will always have our business.

Very happy! We ordered some Luxury Vinyl Tile (Floorte) through Scott at Potomac Tile and Carpet for our kitchen renovation. The order came in quicker than expected. After installing almost all of the tile, we noticed the last box of tile had some slight damage. I left a message with Scott just before July 4th. He got back to me as soon as he returned to work on the 5th, let us know he ordered a replacement box and we would get a call when it was in. To my surprise, I was called yesterday by Barbara and she let us know our order was in! We will definitely be going back to Potomac Tile and Carpet for our future renovations.
