La Vela Beach Cafe

Upstairs at the White Sands Oceanfront resort and spa is the exquisite La Vela Beach Cafe. This is not your average hotel breakfast, lunch and dinner spot. The soothing decor is blue like the Mediterranean Sea. The offerings are all crafted with fresh high quality ingredients and beautifully presented like a work of art. The chef was classicly trained in Florence, Italy and it shows. We loved the Linguini Fruitti Di Mare, chock full of seafood, so yummy! The La Vela Salad was fabulous. Our party of six enjoyed the Burrata Crostini, Tuna Tartar, Grilled Octopus, Calamari Fritti, the Margherita Pizza, and the La Vela Burger, all phenomenal. Leave room for the homemade pistachio Tiramisu and Cheesecake. Family friendly with amazing prices, La Vela is definitely your coastal haven for authentic Italian cuisine.

Went to Point Pleasant for a couple of days and had three meals at La Vela, each one was better than the next. All of the food we had was fresh and delicious, presentation was beautiful and the staff was great. Can't wait to go back.

My husband and two children ate lunch here while on vacation in Point Pleasant Beach. Everyone absolutely loved their meals. My husband enjoyed his gnocchi (deliciously creamy sauce) and I loved my chicken panini with basil pesto. It was warm and Devine. My daughter ordered an off-menu spaghetti with traditional marinara sauce and she loved every ounce she ate (large serving). I definitely recommend this restaurant. The staff was super friendly and very on-top of everything. To top it off, the view of the ocean and summer breeze were wonderful and relaxing. Check this place out! Dare I say... so pleasant.

The open-air design allows diners to enjoy the refreshing sea breeze, while the elegant décor complete with nautical touches and chic, comfortable seating creates a relaxed atmosphere.

The food is the real star here. Every dish we tried was a testament to the chef's skill and passion for Italian cuisine. Highly recommended.

I was a visitor ,I stopped at lavelabeachcaffe with my wife for breakfast it was delicious ,we decide to go back for lunch ,the staff was wonderful ,we can’t wait to go back. 😍

We were lucky to have stumbled upon LA Vela. The owner Ergys made my family feel comfortable and important as soon as we walked in. We have now eaten here 3 times in Two days and wish we had enough room to eat more. Cheers to your establishment and best of luck!

I had an incredible dining experience at La Vela Beach Cafe !The atmosphere was warm and inviting ,with a cozy ambiance that me feel right at home ,the service was too-notch,with friendly staff who made sure my every need was meet ,but the real star it’s for the food!Each dish was expertly prepared and presented ,i would highly recommend 🤌🤌

The food is excellent. The coffee is also excellent. And even better is the experience with the folks that make you feel extremely welcome !!!
