We had a wonderful experience at Another Slice of Cake! My daughters celebrated their 9th birthday with a Tea Party and it was magical. Liz did a great job keeping in touch leading up to the party and preparing a delicious selection of sandwiches and sweets to choose from. She made a custom themed cake and all the kids had a blast. She was very understanding and accommodating to a bunch of girls who were having way too much sugar and doing craft and singing songs. I would highly recommend you make a reservation for tea time, young and old will enjoy, you won't regret it.

The cakes and pastries are WONDERFUL, and the decor is playful and sweet. I love the little "maxims" displayed all over such as, "Cake understands," and the floral touches. I have been a client of Another Slice of Cake even before the opening of its retail location, and had visited the cafe twice since it opened two months ago. I love everything Liz bakes: cakes, cup cakes, cookies, and want to send a special shout out to the cheddar bacon scones. Liz's custom made cakes for events are great and reasonably priced. My husband loved the cheesecake I got him for his birthday. Life is short, eat more cake!

Another Slice of a Cake made us an amazing baby reveal cake!! I needed them to shift up the pick up time a bit and they were super accommodating. We love shopping local, we’ll definitely be back!

We went last week for an afternoon tea and were wowed! Everything - from the kind service to the stellar food - made us feel like we were spending tea time in London! This place is a gem and merits many return trips!

Cute bake shop with delicious cakes, cookies, and other baked goods. Today we had slices of the Snickers and Strawberry Margarita cakes and they were so good!

My husband and I shared a tea service with cakes, cookies, sandwiches and scones. Everything was absolutely amazing. The service was excellent by Andrea and the owner Liz was delightful and took time out to come and talk to us. We will definitely be coming back.

Cute place, friendly service, beautiful and delicious cakes and treats, and a really nice cup of coffee. The pumpkin and peanut butter dog treats will be a nice gift for some special dogs!

Such a lovely gem in downtown Frederick! The baked goods were fantastic- I had a pecan pie bar and my daughter had a sugar cookie- both were amazing! There was a wide selection, hot coffee and a lovely seating area. Liz, the owner, was kind and welcoming!! Thank you! We’ll be back!

Small bakery offering those amazing cakes you see on social media by the slice as well as whole for birthdays or weddings. The flavors available were both traditional (peanut butter & chocolate, lemon) and ones I’d not seen before (blackberry & basil, strawberry & lime tequila), with scones, muffins and cookies for those who want something other than cake. Their coffee was pretty good too. Nice bright place to eat in or stop by to take something home to share, as, really, you can’t buy just one slice as there are so many to try!

super cute bakery. took my awhile to come as I am already in love with Bakehouse and Debs. tried several things that were all delicious! Most things not overly sweet. The butterscotch blondie ended up a crowd fav even though it was one of the sweeter options.

I’ve been buying from Another Slice of Cake in Myersville for about a year. I was excited when she decided to open her adorable little shop in Fredrick.❤ Most of the items I’ve bought have been muffins, scones, cupcakes, etc. today, I had the scrumptious Snickers Cake…it was delicious..chocolate, peanut butter, nuts. She has different cakes daily and I plan to try them all. Best little dessert bar in town.

A fairly new place for Frederick downtown. I stopped by right after they’ve opened. I love pretty much everything they do. I also have ordered an angel food cake and it was absolutely incredible. Now I am buying various pastries there all the time. Thank you!

This is THE most adorable bakery cafes I think I've ever been to. The butter cream frosting is beyond anything! I would come again and again and again.
