Chez L'Amour

A gem in the heart of St. Augustine. The food is something amazing. The taste was unique. We ordered the Beef Tartar and I have not tasted something so good in a long time. You need to order the popcorn chicken. It’s simply the best !

Me and my friend had a beautiful time at Chez L’amour! I'm in love with the atmosphere: dim lights, soft and classy music, amazing food, and service. The food was delicious; my favorite was the root vegetable hash during brunch with a poached egg. I never thought beats could taste so good. I wish they had avocado but it was still really good.

I will definitely be back, and I highly recommend this place if you're looking for great food, music, or a classy or romantic vibe.

One of the best culinary experiences we’ve had in a long time. We ordered 10 dishes between 4 of us and EVERY SINGLE one was exceptional. Drinks were next level good. If you are local or visiting the area. This is a must!!

Experienced my first omakase, which the two chefs came up with on the same day a few hours before the dinner. WOW! It was mind blowing and sooo filling! Such beautiful intimate vibes throughout the restaurant and such great, friendly attentive staff. Great for events, date nights, celebrations and more! The live musicians every night is so special as well. I can’t wait to go back and try new dishes as they constantly source different ingredients and protein.

THE BEST MEAL IN A LONG TIME! We were fortunate to secure a table without a reservation, and WOW! The dining experience at St. Augustine surpassed my expectations. Chef Ellie's culinary mastery shines through perfectly balanced flavors, crafted with evident passion. I'm already anticipating a return visit. Chef Ellie graced our table with recommendations, and our server Kendal was both attentive and instrumental in guiding us through drink and dish selections. I’m married to a chef and dined with a dear friend that’s a former NYC chef. We were all blown away! Thank you Chef Ellie and team!

Perfect date night spot. Sexy and intimate. The small plate food is so delicious and perfect for sharing. Feels like fine dining but fun. They always have excellent live music and the vibes are great.

Holy WOW -- everything that Chef Ellie prepared was beyond expectation. The food was incredible, the cocktails (and mocktails) were perfect, and the atmosphere was so, so cute.

Live music nightly! Including on a Monday which is rare in St. Augustine to even be open on a Monday! Will be going here for date nights to come - the service (Olivia) was superb and friendly. The atmosphere is upscale yet cozy. Our mocktails were devine! Appreciated that we could make a reservation. Can’t wait to make another and try more menu options, including brunch!

Delicious brunch on a Saturday morning! Such a beautiful, creative space and the creativity with the food is out of this world. The combination of flavours, textures and colour was so well done. Ellie, the chef, studied art before culinary, the influence is evident in her creations. Highly recommend.

Jeanetta and Alberto have created a fantastic venue for music and food! We visited last night to listen to Raisin Cake Orchestra. They’re great! We ordered too many tapas b/c Chez has so many tantalizing choices—each was mouthwatering and delicious! Love the ambience!! We can’t wait to return!!

Found a little jewel in St Augustine, FL. Michael our waiter was very attentive and detailed on the menu. Everything on this place from the decor, jazz piano, food, ambiance and the team was an amazing experience - even Chef Ellie came out to greet us.
I will most definitely return back and highly recommend this place.

What a wonderful place. I've been wanting to try this and so happy we did. Upon entering you notice how welcoming and and cozy it is. It totally reminds me of the former Rhetts that was downtown. We sat at the bar and had wonderful service from the two knowledgeable bartenders. As we enjoyed cocktails we we're loving the live jazz music such great atmosphere!! So this is a small plates restaurant which is fun as you can make your way through the menu trying different items. With the bartenders recommendations we tried coconut curry popcorn chicken, the smell of the curry is so enticing. We then moved onto the salmon carpaccio, so I'm not really into salmon like my husband is but this was wonderful!! Im hooked. It's thinly sliceed and put over some crunchy rice bites anyway its amazing! Then we had the NY strip sliders, OMG amazing! The server told us to get extra Horseradish sauce which FYI is the best I've ever had this is a must if you go. We ended the meal with a datil chocolate dessert which was beautiful decorated. This place checked all the boxes, live music, great service, great atmosphere, on-site parking and fabulous food! This is our new go to place. See you at the bar..

Galentine’s Brunch was so fun and tasty! Addison gave amazing service to our party of 8. Bellini’s were delicious and I especially loved my root vegetable hash.

I am completely blown away. From the atmosphere, to the food, to the VIBE this space provides, I am so impressed.

I highly recommend making reservations. Incredibly thankful a unique restaurant like this exists in Saint Augustine and look forward to eating here over and over.

Hands down one of the best food experiences from drinks to dessert I’ve had in months. Drinks were top notch, our bartender was amazing and the food was absolutely perfect. A good little surprise walking in when the owner was singing with her high school choir teacher. We’ll definitely be back!

A hidden gem away from the bustling streets of St. Augustine, this place is wonderfully quaint. The food and drinks were outstanding, complemented by excellent service. I highly recommend making reservations to ensure a seamless experience.

Wonderful restaurant- great food, service and atmosphere. We enjoyed meeting Lisa the manager she was lovely. We'll definitely be back. This place would be wonderful for parties since they have live music.

Wonderful experience at Chez L’amour. Last night was our 3rd visit. We had been there for brunch once with the piano player, dinner with friends one Saturday evening and last night we went for the 6 course dining experience. The atmosphere is always great and I really enjoy the vibe there. The entertainment is always great too. I like that they are bringing jazz to St Augustine.

This place has become one of my favorites. The chef is also creative and I never leave there running for alka seltzer. The drinks are also fun and creative. Give this place a try. You won’t regret it😊
