I almost don't want to share how awesome this park is because it was almost like a secret garden park. The slides were out of service but there was so much to love still. Hand pump that creates a cool stream around the landscaping, picnic area, reading area with a free little library, climbing areas and the best part for my kids, the sand play area with water feature so you can really play like you're at the beach! All made from recycled wood! With beautiful gardens and trees!
Only problem is there is no public restroom but the folks at the community center with the pool were kind enough to let the kids use the restroom (not sure if that's standard or we just got lucky).

Very nice little park in the middle of a neighborhood. Really nice native plants attracting pollinators. Hanging adult swings and seating, a nice big sandbox area, some slides for kids and a cool water feature with an old-fashioned hand pump and a little river on the side of the park! A few picnic tables, lots of trees that will be nicer each year as they get bigger and provide more shade. Only street parking but when I've driven there has been plenty on the little streets around it.

Great nature-based play areas and native plants. Plenty of seating, swings for adults, and picnic tables. So peaceful and clean.

We went there after rain in a warm spring time. I can’t tell it is one of my best feeling be out with my kids. The place is a bit quite and small, with lot of information to learn. Don’t miss out! We will definitely visit the place again and we recommend for everyone. The only thing concerning is a parking. It is street parking.

This is such a cute park and it’s full of hands on play spaces, very well thought, with lots of details and many things to discover. I have been here a few times and I love the fact that I always discover something new.

A totally wonderful, unexpected surprise in the heart of Old Town Gaithersburg. The perfect place to take your kids to play and let their imagination grow.

My son absolutely loves coming here. It's a very cozy park. There is a sand area also a few slides. And swings where you can sit and read. Overall kept very clean. Not a lot of foot traffic so generally quiet place to relax

Constitution Gardens Park is a tiny beauty...a large rose garden, herb garden, wild flowers for bees & butterflies, all enhance the neighborhood. The children's sand island, much more than a box, and the slides are unique, as well as the giant wooden chairs and swing benches. A lending library, a few picnic tables with many trees for shade make this park a delight Historic information signs are in place.

A hidden gem that made me me feel special and privileged to discover! It's like a whimsical,,magical spot out of a Beatrix Potter book. I took my 4 & 6 year old grandson's there and they loved it. A nice change from a traditional playground.
Some if the fun there is what you make of it! A good sensory park!

We played "I-spy a ( fill in the blank with an animal)in the gazebo with the animal cut outs.

We swung in the big porch swings and talked.

We raced through the mini labyrinth to see who got to the middle first and once there, we sat on the bench and tasted the mint leaves! They loved that!

I taught them to stop and smell the roses in the rose garden which also makes a great place for pictures.

Their favorite was the giant sand area with the water pump that runs down a log and makes puddles for the kids to play in. I could barely tear them away to go explore the other parts of the park.

There are 2 little slides that Built-in between tall grassy areas which was very picturesque and nature like.

There is a fabulous climbing tree which for any little boy is a win-win!

There is another slide that's better for toddlers and in its right beside some sift, fuzzy, touchable plants called lambs ear which is very sensory for little hands.

There is a fallen tree that the boys enjoyed climbing and playing on with other kids.

I might be missing some things, but it's worth a little visit. I will definitely bring the boys back and they will be excited to go!

A lovely creation in the heart of Gaithersburg that you wouldn't know about unless you knew it was there!
Thank you to whoever created such a special spot!

My 5 and 4 year old ladies really enjoyed this local park. Would be nice to see books in English or Spanish to read in the book bin. In addition to have access to the club house for the use of the restrooms.

Special playground here uses recycled wood to create animals (pig/cow) that kids can sit on. Other fun things there are a sandpit and climbing structure. Signage describes the use of materials. For smaller children.

Great little park for kids. My preschooler and toddler occupied themselves for two hours. Sand and water to play in, trees to climb. Bring a change of clothes. No bathrooms.

Very nice park. Pretty different from most parks. Quite. Hardly anything there is plastic, not rather made of wood. You will find gardens and sculptures there too.

Great little park. Garden area and play area are both clean and well kept. Street parking only, can be hard to find parking in the evening.
