We recently contracted with Barrett Outdoors and we couldn't be more pleased with the results! From the initial consultation to the final touches, their professionalism and attention to detail were outstanding. The quality of workmanship is evident and the finished deck is beautiful. Communication throughout the project was excellent, and they completed the job on time. I highly recommend Barrett Outdoors for anyone looking for a top-notch deck builder. 5 stars is not enough!

Barrett Outdoors replaced our deck after Hurricane Sandy demolished it in October 2012; it was quite an extensive and expensive undertaking. Fast forward to July 2024 and a couple minor workmanship issues needed to be addressed. Gus was happy to honor the workmanship agreement and made the fixes free of charge to us. Not many companies stand behind their products/services like this anymore and we were very impressed with the level of customer service provided by Barrett Outdoors. I highly recommend contacting Gus and his team for your decking projects!

If you are in need of a new deck, you need to pick up Barrett outdoors! We had the best experience ever with Gustavo and Jasmine and our project is absolutely beautiful! From the first time we met Gus, we felt comfortable and confident in their work and quality of materials! Jasmine communicates with you daily and Answers all questions questions in a timely fashion. We contracted Barrett Outdoors to remove our old wood deck and build a new deck. I have to say, their team was a pleasure to work with, and communication was consistent through the portal they set up for the project. The team fully addressed issues that cropped up throughout the project, listened to our concerns, and worked with us to resolve the issues in a manner we were satisfied with and thought fair. Wow! We hired Barrett Outdoors to replace a set of steps on a very steep slope & they did an incredible & fast job! They also replaced our deck about 15 years ago & since it was an amazing job, we hired them again for our stair project. I’d 100% recommend them!

We requested a proposal to replace an elevated deck that was 20 years old.

Gustavo and the crew were absolutely amazing. They proposed 3 designs based on our requirements. The cost was very affordable and fit within our budget. Afterwards an architect and engineer finalized the plans and we approved.

I was extremely detailed during the proposal process. Gustavo and the crew addressed all my concerns and were extremely humbled with it.

The project was always ahead of schedule, minus bad weather. With our project manager, we were always in the loop. The carpenters were nice, professional, and clean. They always cleaned the worksite everyday when completed. They kept us in the loop every step of the way.

The deck construction was absolutely perfect. The fit and finish, and overall construction beyond exceeded our expectations. Every plank is cut exactly the same size without any jagged edges. All the fasteners are uniform. The railing is perfectly installed and very secure. At the end of construction, the deck was actually dirty with mud. The crew washed the deck and actually cleaned every railing, step, plank and post by hand.

If you need assistance with a deck, or remodeling or constructing one, I highly recommend using them. Look no further.

My only regret was not doing this sooner.

We used Barrett Outdoors to replace an old deck and install a new patio at the base of the deck. Gustavo, Ronald, Sophia, Juan (and team), and Saul (and team), were all wonderful to work with. Everyone was extremely professional, friendly, and responsive to any and all of our questions. They even helped us resolve an unforeseen issue we encountered after the old deck was removed. Barrett Outdoors was absolutely phenomenal! They went above and beyond on our deck project. We did need to make some changes throughout construction based on preferences and design but they were able to make all changes flawlessly and willing to spend the extra time with us to understand what we were looking for. We had a very positive experience with Barrett Outdoors. We replaced a 30 year old wooden deck. Gustavo was great to work with in the design phase. He was very responsive to requests for alterations to the initial design. The installation crew was very professional and did great work. Communication was good throughout the project. The work was completed in a timely manner once we got our township approvals.

My wife and I recently hired Barrett Outdoors to build a deck in our yard. Before hiring them I spoke with 4-5 contractors as this was a fairly large project and I wanted to get a few quotes. From day 1 Barret was professional and responsive. Every time I called or texted them I got an immediate response back. They took the time to help design a deck that was quite different than our initial plan and they helped bring to our attention details my wife and I never would have thought about on our own. On top of that their work was meticulous. I was very impressed by their attention to detail. They worked everyday, were in constant communication and finished a large deck about as quickly as humanly possible.
