The staff at Walker's Funeral Home was wonderful to my Family during the most difficult time in my life. When I lost my Father, they were so compassionate and caring, from the gentlemen who picked him up at our home to the staff handling all the arrangements. They made arrangements for not only one, but two funerals in two different states. I do not have words for how thankful my Family was for all Walker's Funeral Home did for us and by beloved Father. Thank you for kindness, compassion, and first class service.

Outstanding customer service. All the staff at Walker's Funeral Home, especially Stephen, were very professional, appropriately empathetic, and extremely helpful every step of the way in handling my mother's passing. They provided excellent communication and went above and beyond to ensure that this difficult time for me and my family was much less so in regards to her funeral arrangements. While I would never wish the misfortune of losing a loved one on anyone, in the occasion this does occur, I definitely recommend Walker's Funeral Home in Chapel Hill.

We haven't completed the payment process yet but so far I can't say enough good things or properly express my gratitude for the considerate way my family was treated under the care of Walker's Funeral Home in Chapel Hill. Stephen was comforting, helpful and professional in every way. Carl was very respectful in our home when picking up the deceased. I'm accustomed to having a great first meeting in customer service and afterward feeling a little let-down by impersonal follow through. That was NOT the case. Stephen made sure we felt taken care of every step of the way during this difficult time. The last few weeks would have been much harder if we didn't have such a capable company to rely on. I feel fortunate we found Walker's and would recommend them to anyone.
UPDATE: The payment process went easily as well.

Walker's Funeral Home and their rep Rodney Gerringer were very helpful in making funeral arrangements for my mother who passed away in Austin, TX. They arranged to have her body transferred to Chapel Hill and made all other arrangements, so that the funeral and burial went smoothly. We are grateful to them for guiding us through this process which was new to us. Thank you.

Walker’s services for my dad were exceptional. Stephen was quick to respond, professional in his care, and patient as we made decisions. Thank you for making a tender time much easier.

We had sincere and genuine caring from everyone at Walkers.. They were able to accommodate last minute changes we requested for my grandfather s service .

DO NOT USE THEM!!!!
I used their services in in early July when I gave them my card to authorize the transaction they told me the payment would take place in 3-4 business days, which was fine I had the money to cover it at the time, HOWEVER, in mid August when I just moved my family overseas (which is expensive) that was when they finally took the money, with no warning to me.
So now I'm in a foreign country completely broke because they could not be bothered to take payment within the time frame they said they would.

Did what they were supposed to do, but threw out a cigarette in the driveway, were rough when they took our mother down the steps and were hanging around smoking outside when we came for our mother's cremains. This was awhile ago, so maybe they are more professional now.

Terribly rude, horrible customer service, I would rather utilize a pet crematory than to ever use this establishment. And establishment being a stretch of the word. I've never been more disgusted with a service.

There are not open 24/7
