My brother-in-law was sent to Nichols in Addison alabama
. He didn't have any insurance so I called veterans. They said that they would reimburse up $2000 for a cremation. I asked Mr. Nichols if he worked with veterans. He said no that they were liars. I told him I had called the veterans twice again he reiterated they were lying to me. My niece was just reimbursed $1800 from veterans for grandfather's cremation right there in cullman . He died December. They had already reimbursed. Again mr Nichols said they were lying to me he knew. What a horrible experience. My brother-in-law and my husband were both vets and proud of it.since then I talked to vets again and they sent me paper work.we had james transferred up to cullman funeral home which was $1100 cheaper..but Mr Nichols charged me $463 for transport.and that is fine
They did pick him up from cullman hospital. It was just an awful experience. I called vets and reported what Mr Nichols said and they said mam he doesn't know what he is talking about. The reimbursement goes bye the circumstances. What a shame for somebody to call the veterans association liars. I hope I never have to deal with anybody like Mr Nichols again
