I stopped in today to get some 30W reels spooled up but the general manager, Mike, informed me they were not staffed to spool reels.

Instead of turning me down though, Mike went out of his way to get me taken care of. Beyond that, he was very informative in helping me select two rods to pair.

I walked out with two new rods and freshly spooled up 30s just in time for the mahi bite.

River Supply in Thunderbolt is one of the last awesome local tackle and marine supply shops left! The General Manager Mike has incredible knowledge of local fishing and the tackle to set you up right. You can find anything from a stainless steel screw to an outboard engine! If you’re looking for a place to learn, ask questions or get ready for the boating season this is your place!

Purchased some specific paint and boat fittings. Ray was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I live over an hour away and will buy all of my future marine supplies from River Supply. These folks have knowledge, product selection (in stock) and customer service like I've never seen. Their pricing vs. whats available where I live is considerably better as well. They have it going on!!!!!!

Awesome store. It has everything a West marine store has and more. If I cant find it in Hilton Head I can call River supply and they actually have a courier that travels to surrounding areas that can deliver.

It's a well supplied store and you can get most things there a little pricey for my taste but its convenience is sometimes worth the extra money

Friendly service, huge selection of goods. If it's not on the shelf, it can be ordered pr you don't need it.
