This tiny bicycle shop is not your typical bike store. It's called a "bike collective" because members of the community can come here for bicycle related help. You can learn how to fix your own bike here. You can donate bikes here as well. Donated bikes are fixed and resold at bargain prices. I purchased a 1998 Iron Horse mountain bike for $100.00 and I absolutely love it.

They are for the community. Manchester's bicycle service kings. When they fix your bicycle, they charge a small amount. Special thanks go out to Mr. Tylor and Rene. Kudos to the team.

This place is the best! I went there today and the staff was so helpful answering all my questions! They welcomed and treated me like their family!
Zach, one of the volunteers was incredible! He spent his time teaching me how to clean and repair my bike! Very grateful for his patience and passion for helping me with my bike needs!
Definitely recommend them to anyone! Keep up the amazing impact to your community!!

Went in to discuss the process of refurbishing a bike that is in pretty rough shape. The gentleman I spoke with was very knowledgeable, answering all my questions and providing me with more information than I expected. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to provide the answers he needed to fully assess the status of the bike. He suggested I book an appointment to bring the bike in to see if it is worth working on. While there I also checked out their refurbished bikes. If mine is too badly damaged, I will definitely pick up one from them.
Update: Went in on Tuesday 11 July to donate the bike I had and purchased one of their refurbished bikes. Excellent service, test road a couple of bikes and got some advice on care and maintenance of the one I picked out. Quality bike and a very reasonable price.

Abby and Tyler are always teaching someone or fixing something. They are extremely kind and patient. I got my bike here for $50 and learned how to fix it. They are teaching kids these skills, safety, and are always pushing for community outreach and betterment. Very accessible, sliding scale, they meet you where you're at. They have every part you'd ever need and more. So many different bikes and styles! Always throwing cool events or get togethers. Low cost family activity that encourages kids' autonomy and a bonding team effort. Every community could use more like them. Volunteering here is practically a free class. Cities aren't accessible until the streets are accessible for all :-)

Went into the shop inquiring about bikes for kids in my building. When in the shop, I spoke with Tyler who explained how Queen City bike collective helps the community, especially children in local schools. Any organization that positively helps the community and the unity of that community, I will always endorse. Thanks guys!!

Friendly staff of volunteers provide tools & guidance for you to repair your own bike for $5/hour. Inexpensive used parts and reasonably priced used bikes available for purchase.

It was my first time going and I had an awesome experience at this shop today!
Kyle helped me straighten out my derailleur issues on a new bike in under an hour.

Definitely know what you're getting into before coming here. It's a small non-profit and you do your own repairs with their guidance. It's great if you prefer a more DIY approach to repairs, but don't always have all the tools or experience to make it happen all on your own.

They seem very active in the community and deserve to be supported!

Went in looking for a derailleur hanger. I immediately fell in love with this place. Friendly, informative and all around great vibe here. Definitely recommend this group if you're wanting to get serious about cycling.

This business is amazing. The community attachment it has is unbelievable. The first place I thought of when I bought my grandsons new bikes and donated their old bikes. Amazing! Karma will come around to these folks but it's the kind we seldom hear about....good karma. God bless y'all

These guys are SO helpful! They help/ teach people to repair bikes and will sometimes do it for you if you can't. They fixed my husband's fat bike when no where else was willing to do it!! Thank you!!

Great experience, everyone was uber friendly and they let me try out multiple bikes to find the one that best suited me. They also gave great insight into the different styles of bikes. And above all else they gave me a great deal for my bike.

Extremely dedicated staff, that offers a priceless service to our communitie's children and adults alike.
The selection of preowned bicycles is huge and always changing.
The service team couldn't do a better job of making sure that every bike is safe and sturdy, before offering them to the community.
They offer an 'open shop' program. And have different workshops and events, that are worth following.
All of this and so much more from an A++ community focused nonprofit organization.
*I put the Queen City Bike Collective as Highly Recommended*
ps: they do accept the donation of used bicycles.(I would call first).

These people are wizards. In a good way.

The fellows here are super willing to help if you're struggling to find the solution yourself for your everyday bike problems.

Definitely the first place to try to fix a bike.

My bike was all messed up when I arrived at the shop. Within an hour it it was working perfectly. I was taught how to fix everything and the $5 an hour shop rate didn't kill my wallet. A great place with people.

At one point I volunteered there. They are a community based enterprise that helps and educates. They provide bikes for the needy, and assisted repairs. As far as I can see they've been doing a wonderful job. If you feel the urge you could go down there offer your time to help out, give a small donation or just go down and chat and find out what the place is all about. You'll find a positve vibe that permeates the place. Go down and check it out. There hours are on the net.
