It's a very Charming little small town place to go. I haven't had anything but the grilled chicken salad and it is really good. However, I've seen all the other food they cook as it comes out and it looks yummy. LOL. The burgers look really good and Big, the fries are big and tempting but I can't eat that kind of stuff. LOL it's very clean and the employees are all super friendly. It stays fairly busy so it must be good. If I recommend anything it would be the grilled chicken salad, nice healthy portion of chicken lots of vegetables. I always add onions and jalapenos to mine so that's an option. If you're in the Grand Saline area or somewhere close you should definitely stop in and give them a try.

Good big burgers, grilled cheese,curly fries,crinkle fries and sweet tea. They also offered salads, Mexican food, corn dogs. We enjoyed our visit and will be back. Definitely stop in or go through the drive thru and try this place!

we love the dairy bar! we live about an hour away but will make special trips to come out for a malt shake & dinner. I LOVE their loaded baked potato, it's got the perfect amount of toppings but u can also ask for more of anything. they also have great burgers and the steak fries are such a treat. I've seen the salads and all the ingredients are fresh too. everyone who works there is so nice and their smiles are genuine. it is kept very clean and welcoming and we look forward to our next visit!!!!

Love love love this place, in my opinion a little better than Whataburger, and they have the best homemade onion rings, prices are very reasonable would highly recommend.

I had the steak sandwich and it was good. My only suggestion would be to make the chicken fried steak a little thicker and not quite so big around. It had good flavor but was a little thin. My family was very happy with their meal. Great place for lunch.

Excellent staff there. They keep things going the best they can at the busiest times. Would suggest to management to provide night reflective vests when employees are getting orders in the dark along side Hwy 80. They were doing this only because of the high volume of cars in line at the drive thru. Please consider for their safety. Thanks

Best hamburger. I’ve had in a long time. I was just passing through on my way to Dallas. I’m so glad I stopped. Can’t wait to drive back through.

What a great and historic American restaurant! Just like they did in the old days you get friendly service with a smile! Nice wide selection of foods made to order! I had a double bacon cheeseburger 🍔 with onion rings and I was not disappointed additionally I had a vanilla shake that brought me back to my childhood! I am so glad to see such a well run old timey restaurant with such hard working young ladies!! I wish we had a place like this in Wills Point!! 👍👍👍👍👍

Old school vibe, burger was crisp griddle grilled, buns toasted, veggies fresh. Tator tots perfect, waitress brought everything out with ketchup too. Dons has been open since 1960, was a flashback. Great little classic building too. We ate at their outdoor dining area because the East Texas weather was so nice. Give me a thumbs up if you agree, I recommend Dons! Grease back your hair or put in your poodle skirt and let's hop in the Roadster and ride to Dons in Grand Saline, Texas

This has become one of our favorite go to places! I have yet to be disappointed and we have tried quite a few dishes. The burgers and fries are delicious, we also love their chicken and gravy but have been most surprised by the Mexican food dishes, the tacos and taco salad are amazing and their salsa is top notch! The staff are always friendly and attentive and we have highly enjoyed this establishment.

Food and service was good. It looks like an old Daiiry Queen so it's small, the seating isn't well layed out and the lighting is to bright.

Nikki gets 5 STARS for her effort to bring back a Grand Saline staple. I just had the chicken fajita nachos & chips/salsa that took me back 25 years. Deliciously fabulous! Don’t even get me started on the chocolate malt or fountain drinks! Do yourself a favor and make The Dairy Bar a dining destination! Nikki and her team won’t disappoint.

The most helpful and kind workers here I've seen in a restaurant in quite some time. The malts are really good.

It's a little country town Cafe with country food. I got the steak fingerbasket comes with fries and a salad I picked curley fries and got a side of cheese sticks. It's great. Alot too brought it home ate it the day after and it was better the second day. Haha. I recommend if you're looking for a country home feeling.

AWESOME place to eat ! Beef and bean nachos and an RC Cola are a great combination and delicious. Can't beat the price ! Great chicken strip basket too !
