Malinmor Hunt Club

YOU WON'T BELIEVE what kind of hominids are running this operation at Malinmor Hunt Club near Eolia, Missouri. I found this place while on business in the area and after making a short trip to see the countryside hills near Edgewood. An avid outdoorsman, conservationist, and lover of public land, I saw this little sign that said "Recreation" and "Tree Farm" near the road that seemed to indicate a public land project and I happily turned in. A few hundred feet down the road was another sign that said "WELCOME" in large letters and I continued on. After a short drive in I turned around and came back out to the main road, noticing a white pickup pull in and stop up ahead. As I pulled up the man in the vehicle questioned me as to why I was there. I courteously asked, "Isn't this public land?" He answered very rudely and unprofessionally that this was a private hunting spot. When I pointed out that the signs said "Welcome" and "Recreation" he spurted out more ugliness and stated that "Everyone puts up signs, that doesn't mean anything!" I quickly grew tired of the way this guy was talking to me and simply said "Whatever man" and pulled out onto the blacktop. As I pulled away he screamed like a maniac, "Hey what are you doin!" as if I somehow did not have the right to drive my own car away from a crazy person. Oh, but it didn't stop there.... After I drove away from the maniac he backed up his pickup and began chasing me down the highway. To avoid a possible manslaughter charge I did not stop, and after a short ways he turned off down a gravel road and I figured that was that. Nope...I figured wrong.... YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT THIS COUNTRY BUMPKIN DID NEXT. A few miles down the road I get a call from my local police officer whom I know very well and I immediately knew what had happened. At least I THOUGHT I knew...I could only imagine! This local yokel redneck hilly-billy called the police and actually told them he smelled AMMONIA coming from my car!!!!!!!! I was like SAY WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I drove STRAIGHT to the county police and opened all my doors and trunk and told them PLEASE come out here and inspect my car. After I explained what had happened the police realized the man was lying to them in order to cause someone trouble and they didn't even check my car. I closed my doors, left the police station and went about my way. I am an honest man and a proud veteran. I cannot stand people who use lies to inflict injury or harm on others, in fact I cannot even comprehend their thinking. But a business doing this sort of thing to someone is simply unacceptable.
