Maple Grove Lodge Nursing Home

I’ve worked at other homes and I love the way the staff treats the residents, it’s as if they are family. It’s a beautiful thing to witness everyday. I feel very blessed and lucky to be a part of this team.

I'm a resident for about 5month it is a wonderful place to live in

Staff is caring, clearly over worked and under staffed. I have consistently seen staff transition due to exhaustion and those that are loyal to their work are burdened heavily as a result.

1 CNA to a wing (10 to 13 patients). It is not uncommon for me to wait 40 minutes to an hour before a patient is assisted to their room when I seek assistance with my loved one. Staff is ALWAYS caring and help as soon as they are able. * It's not acceptable for someone to have that type of census to care for each day. *

Contact precautions are clearly not marked and when a sign is posted to gown up, glove up and wash hands it goes unnoticed.

A C-Diff patient was cohorting a room and one patient left the room with their family of 4. The family took several items out into the lunchroom neither one washed their hands, gowned up or wore gloves when entering or leaving the room. This left several patients and myself observing this and having to discuss it with one another as it caused concern due to the amount of already ill patients at this location

Had this occurred at the hospital system I worked at, there would have been serious consequences for neglecting the well being of staff, patients and visitors.

There has been several administrators in the last two years and change has not been demonstrated. There needs to be more staff before someone else gets hurt or dies due to negligence. For the money that they collect per patient it does not reflect it in the services rendered.

Staff are great and try their best, but they are not getting support from the company and it is very apparent. We had a mentality at our hospital system, treat your patients as if they are your family.

Upper leadership and overseers of this locatopn how does this location look to you? Is this acceptable? I'm surprised the state has not shut this place down due to your negligence. I was quite shocked at how the precautions were not followed and the amount of traffic the room got. This was just my observation within 2 hours of me being there and sitting across from it!

Pictures must be from when it was 1st built. Sure doesn't look anything. It's not shiney.
It could really use a fresh coat of paint. Most patients are not carefully watched. Need better supervision.

Don’t go there! They will bill you even though you have Medicaid!
