I got two turbo 200 mini-IM capacitors for my furnance unit and they have worked great.

My capacitor finally went bad but it lasted me 20 years. Very impressed

5 year warranty on the turbo 200 however mine last just over 3 years. That is not the issue- the issue consumers cannot file their own warranty claims so I must call my a/c guy back to charge me labor of $75 trip to diagnose it? The part is only $55 on Amazon and I matched up the color coded wires and popped in myself in 5 minutes - BAM, it works!

Their capacitor is marketed as the very best made in USA with a solid warranty for five years but the company did not stand behind their product when failed prematurely. I had this 45+5 mfd cap installed in November 2019 when the existing GE cap was still running after 14 years. This cap failed for the compressor side for low capacitance in its fifth year only confirmed by licensed HVAC contract #TACLB77022E. When contacted to Amrad with the purchase receipt, their VP of sales (Marc Richburg) responded that they can not be held responsible for capacitors sold online and the possibility of personal injury or damage to the unit is high when not installed by a licensed professional. Moreover, "All warranty claims to be processed through the licensed, installing HVACR contractor". I went ahead and bought one other brand for a spare just in case the other Amrad still in the second unit fails prematurely.

Now, I don't know of any contractor who will file such a claim for a capacitor on your behalf. The one I had told me that I can file a warranty claim myself, which I'm clearly unable to do with Amrad for their policy stated above. Also, years later it's possible the original installer might have gone out of business.

There's no need to pay a high price for a cap that gives equivalent of years in service compared to GE/Genteq or other such brands for a lot lower price (around $15).

I was able to be hired @17hr with my new job removing myself from this job was the best thing I could of done! However it’s unprofessional a lot business with pleasure low pay !! Aware of supervisors if they feel they LOST THEIR SHOT at you you’ll be Pressured into a warning of being late ! Aware of co workers are going to expect you to take them home and Wendy which is wired! Hope this help some people think twice about applying and your welcome

Sent email6am Texas time for help on purchase correct product. Amrad noted they would respond shortly. It's 3.42 pm never responded. Called! The call bounced around never answered. Heard the product was great...well I guess I never know. What a bummer!

Impossible to speak with anyone. Is this a sham?
