Holiday Inn Cookeville, an IHG Hotel

Friendly staff, comfy beds and pillows, clean updated rooms. We stayed here two nights while visiting family in the area. It is our favorite hotel we have stayed in, in Cookeville. When we find ourselves back in the area, we will stay here again. A nice bonus is the Rooftop Restaurant.

This is where you want to stay. Feels like they just built it; very clean and comfortable. The tall young guy who checked me in was very helpful and answered all my questions. Large parking lot accommodating to most size trailers. Restaurant staff on the top floor were very friendly and the food was great!! 5 stars!

Gorgeous hotel, fantastic pool, shower drain sounds like chimes! The rooftop bar/restaurant has outstanding food and cocktails, and happy hour is a bargain!

Everything was great about the room. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and everything was clean. Plenty of lights and outlets for our electronics. Lots of channels on the TV. The room decor could use some more color and better paintings, but that's a matter of preference.

The common areas were welcoming and upkept. There was a nice, large laundry room near the elevator on our floor. The staff was friendly and efficient. There was a pool and workout area, but we didn't look into those. Next trip!

Only one negative thing. With as expensive as this hotel is, we expected breakfast to be included. We were told there was a restaurant on the top floor, but we didn't try it.

Was a small hiccup paying for my room but other than that, the rooms were super clean, the amenities were nice and the breakfast while not free was very affordable and delicious. Also the rooftop restaurant has a great happy hour and also delicious food.

This hotel was wonderful to our family. Nine of us from out of state stayed here to attend a family member's funeral. We even rented a meeting room for the after funeral dinner. The staff was very pleasant to work with. Thank you for accommodating our family.

I rarely leave reviews for anything, but THIS hotel and staff DESERVE an excellent review, so here’s my best. My wife and I have stayed at this hotel 4 times in the past 60 days, and EVERY employee that we have spoken to has been courteous, polite, professional, and smiling. We’ve needed late check outs, early check ins, special accommodations due to my health, and they have accommodated EVERY SINGLE need.
The rooms are clean and fresh. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The showers are large. The prices are comparable. It’s in a great and safe location right off of the highway. The restaurant is an awesome addition to an already great hotel experience. This is forever our “go to” hotel when in the area. Do YOURSELF a favor and stop looking anywhere else to stay a night or two. THIS is the hotel you’re looking for. God Bless.

The people that work there were very friendly and helpful, and were able to answer any questions I had about the surrounding area, as I was from out of town. Would definitely stay there again if I go back

Probably the nicest Holiday Inn we've been to. The restaurant on the top floor is pretty awesome and the view is beautiful. Nicely done!

The staff was amazing! Gabe and Brooke checked us in. I met Luanne(?) Housekeeper and she was a treasure! At the 5th Floor Breakfast Doug was awesome!! He's a keeper!!

Always lively staff and good experiences. It's the only place we will stay in Cookeville!!

Rooms were clean. Comfortable beds. Spacious. Will stay here again.

Clean facility and rooms. They do charge a damage fee that is refundable. Enjoyed the restaurant.

From a 35 yr business traveler…

I have been traveling for work for 35 years,
This is without question, the most beautiful, well appointed and well laid out Holiday Inn property I have ever stayed at. I have stayed at hundreds over 35 years.

Bedding was phenomenal. Which is what it is all about. A good nights sleep after a long day of work / travel.

Who ever was the designer / decorator, kudos. Well done

Staff was very polite, courteous.

I did go upstairs to the rooftop restaurant.
Nice place, view, nice breeze to enjoy a drink outside.

I did read some early reviews, the property is new, so, it takes a little while to find a groove.

The other thing; People love to complain about anything and everything, even if it was free.

If I have to pick at one thing, the lack of coffee in the lobby in the early morning hours is annoying. Had to drive a mile to go get some. No, I never use the coffee maker in the room. Ever.

There's truck parking in rear, little tight for sleeper tractor trailer in and out. Daycab no problems! Only room for 1 or 2 so call ahead.

The breakfast was very disappointing. We got there at 8 and the only thing available was oatmeal, cold cereal and yogurt. The employee look in the pans and never refilled them. If we had not had a coupon for free breakfast I would not have paid for the breakfast. The hotel was awesome.

Nice, clean and new hotel that is right off the interstate with an added bonus of a pool and restaurant.

Such a clean and safe environment for lodging. The rooftop bar is a fun place to eat and hang out. Nice, clean hotel stay is a must and this place has it!

This place is very clean and the rooms were great. Price wasn't bad either.

Very clean. Staff at front desk very nice . Wish had staff to take bags if needed due to I needed to take my niece ( whose handicap ) and bags up then come back to park car . . It didn’t look good for staff to be at the front door smoking even if it was late . They were dressed in black . Not sure where they work in the hotel . The bathroom was very nice with a very large walk in shower. Good quality of product in the bathroom. I was happy with the beds . I have a bad back and need good beds . Took me a little while to get the air right , and if I stay again, I will ask them to please come show me how . If you’re needing a room , this is the best this town has . I’m from here and have stayed at all the nicer hotels in town.
