This is a wonderful place, no matter the season! It changed hands a few years ago and the new owners are wonderful folks. I'm not sure if the lavender is open for picking this season - the weather has so much to do with how well it grows. I did see on their website that other flowers were ready for picking. I would check to see hours and what is available. I loved it there! Can't wait to go again.

Stopped to check out Lavenlair Farm on Sunday. What a wonderful experience. The staff are very friendly and willing to assist with information on lavendar, the farm, or to assist with cutting your own lavender. I sat in the lavender field for a bit watching the bees enjoying the lavender blossoms, then cut some to take home. The shop was a treat, especially on such a hot day. The Lavender lemonade was a nice cold treat and of course I had to pick up some honey and lavender cookies. After sitting in the field I ventured over to the labyrinth for a nice meditative experience. Left feeling refreshed and look forward to visiting again in the near future. I highly recommend stopping in for a visit.

The cutest little farm. The people are so nice, their product is top notch. The best west of France! Worth the drive if you are into this kind of thing. The drive is beautiful as well.

Enchanting views and Informative charming owners. We have a lot of fun here picking lavender and walking the labyrinth. They sell delicious lavender treats, lotions, soaps, and all kinds of great things! I definitely suggest a trip to everyone, it is so worth the drive!

My herb club had a lovely tour of the farm which is doing well with their English Lavender, used for cooking. Unfortunately due to weather and climate the Farm has lost their French lavender plants that are more fragrant

I recently had heard that there was a lavender farm in the area, and had been trying to find the time to make it there before the end of the picking season. While you can visit into the end of summer, picking may not be available, so check before going.

Using google maps to get there, we found it without a problem. The farm is located out in the country, and I enjoyed the drive through rolling farmland. There is a small sign by the road that pointed to the farm.

When we arrived, we were very warmly welcomed by one of the owners, David, who helped us get set up with instructions for cutting lavender for bouquets and answered all of our questions. Bouquets are $5 or $15 (depending if the stems fit in the small part of the scissors or the large).

I was excited to check out the fields and get to work making a bundle of lavender.

There are lots of kinds of lavender, including French Lavender, English Lavender, and culinary lavender, as well as a variety of colors (white, pink, and different shades of purple).

It was nice to see lots of pollinators there, and you can visit the beehives right on the property as well. Just be aware that there are lots of bees there, moving around on the lavender flowers (good to know if you are allergic or perhaps your kids are scared of bees).

You can also purchase bouquets that are already picked, if you prefer.

Once we were done exploring and cutting our lavender, we checked out the shop. There are lots of great items for purchase, and Diane (David’s wife) gave us lots of great tips on how to use culinary lavender.

We tried some samples of lavender lemonade and bought some goodies before heading out.

Ordered culinary lavender 💜 I absolutely loved the packaging and recipe card 😍 I'm excited to make my simple syrup for my tea and lemonade. Thank you so for the love you put into my little package.

I visited the farm last year for the first time and really enjoyed hand-picking the lavender. With COVID, I learned the farm is closed this year to visitors so I opted to support the farm by placing an order to my home. I was not disappointed. The packaging of the products itself was A++ and along with my lavender spray, I received an adorable heart-shaped soap which I use every day. You can tell this farm puts their heart and soul into their products - I especially enjoyed the hand-written postcard with my order. The beautiful picture is on my fridge. Long story, short. Support small business - support this farm and order online!!

I had to come here and leave a review. First of all, I LOVE their lavender honey, it's the only honey I will eat directly from the jar. I had intended to take my inlaws here this year but Covid 19 happened. So I ordered from them online, a little hesitantly, as it was honey. Not only did they send me everything I ordered safe and sound, but the box was packaged beautifully, inside was a beautiful note from the owners, a free gift was included, and altogether it was a pleasure to receive and to open. I don't intend to be ordering again from here as I'd like to visit! But until I can at least I know I have the ordering option.

Beautiful little farm for pick your own lavender. Cute little gift shop and their lavender lemonade was probably the best thing I've ever drank. Very nice for a day trip in the lake George area.

Well worth a visit! Take the tour while you're there, too. Pick your own lavender and buy any number of lavender-related products in their cute little store. Staff and visitors are very friendly!

I found Lavenlair Farm by mistake online and did NOT realize this business gem was in our backyard. I ordered lotion, balm and essential oil and I was not disappointed. I am looking forward to spring/summer so I can visit the farm and pick my own lavender.

Who knew this place was here??? What a gem and well-kept secret. Don't miss this experience. A most relaxing experience and I'm not just talking about the lavender. Cut and gather lavender, chat with the owners and others, buy the essential oil, lotion, tea, soap, etc. You will not be able to stop yourself. Wonderful day!

a bit of a drive, across the road from a dairy farm. When you walk inside, your eyes are enjoying the beauty of all the purple and the smell of the lavender is so relaxing, I wanted to curl up on the couch in the glow of the holiday tree and spend the day there.

Such a neat local find. If you can have it lavender they have it. It's out of the way but they are frequently at various locations and events. The lavender honey is the best
