I had the casa azul sandwich—AMAZING, 10/10; also had some strawberry banana crepes—AMAZING. The Mexican mochas are spectacular!!! Coming back soon!!!

Just moved to Florence and I was so excited to find this cafe! The food and coffee is so good. Little piece of Mexico in Alabama. ❤

Excellent food with great flavors. I'm a baby when it comes to spice, but their use of spice and flavor is done so well. The Spanish latte and Dirty Horchata drinks were well balanced and delicious. The staff work together seamlessly. The atmosphere is clean, vibrate and friendly.

I’ve gone here a couple times and I’m never disappointed. Everyone is really friendly, especially the lady working the cash register! I love getting the Diego Special and it’s always so tasty; I love my little pancake after the omelette. Would super recommend the dirty horchata too!!

I love having coffee and breakfast at Cafe de Frida. Lots of thought went into the decor so expect a few surprises as you move through the cafe. The menu has some nice surprises as well. It is not your everyday breakfast menu. Lots of variety, prepared lovingly and presented spectacularly. Note these are not gut busting overfilled plates but I’ve never left hungry. The staff is kind, attentive and friendly. Cleo runs a tight ship so everyone and everything is pristine. Be careful as you navigate the doorways and crossing the street from the parking lot.

What a lovely place! I'm so glad I finally visited Cafe de Frida! The bright blue building is intriguing itself.
I was pleasantly surprised that they had a larger variety of food on their menu than I had previously found online.
I had thought it was mostly breakfast items, but there's so much more.
I had my first Matcha Latte with honey and cinnamon, and it was delicious!
I also had the chicken flautas. It was topped with the freshest avocado, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. It was served with the best salsa Verde. So good!
The prices are reasonable.
The workers were friendly and the service was fast! I love Frida Kahlo, and the decor was all things Frida! The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is beautiful and captivating!
I'll definitely be back. There are lots of things I'd love to try on the menu. Especially the Tamales! There's also some yummy looking pastries available.
It may just be my new favorite spot!

Fresh. Temperature wise, the hot foods are served hot, cold foods are served cold. This is how the foods you’ve been eating should have tasted the first time you ate them. This place is definitely an experience! They care so much about serving high quality foods in a pleasing atmosphere. They also ask about your satisfaction with their food. This is a quality many restaurants do not value. They do, which takes their restaurant to a higher level. I look forward to becoming a regular.

Got to try this new place out during 7 Points Restaurant Week and I really enjoyed it! The portion sizes for their food is great, and the coffees are delicious. We had the Frida Sandwich and someone else at the table had the sandwich ranchero. Everyone enjoyed it! The Salsa was refreshing and great to dip the sandwich in. We will be back!

Added: adding on to my post from when they originally opened. They added more items to the menu and still as delicious!

Old post:
I think I might be a regular. I enjoyed the Diego special (omelette and pancakes) and so far had the iced Dolce de Leche and Iced Mazapan. They are both delicious. Can’t wait to try more here.

Pictures: Iced Mazapan and my just a cup of whole milk (for my 3 yr old) And a Menu of the coffee drinks.

I am extremely impressed with the flavor of the food and drinks at this coffee shop. Initially, I was hesitant, unsure if their food would be authentic. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Trust me, if you're craving some good chilaquiles, this is the place to try. Highly recommended!

My favorite Florence breakfast spot! We've quickly become regulars. They're located in our neighborhood, so it's a quick stop anytime we're out. The Dirty Horchata and the smoothie bowls are the best! I love the honey toast too. We're actually headed there now! Absolutely would recommend.

Update: their honey lavender matcha is delicious! You really can't go wrong here.

Might be my favorite place in Florence! Absolute top notch chilaquiles (I got the divorciados) and tamales. Incredible flavors, excellent service, perfect ambiance. The best dirty chai I've had in a while. I already can't wait to go back.

I don't even want lattes anymore after having the dirty horchata here! My coworker had the dulce le leche latte and looked like she could drift off to heaven at any point while sipping on it. Must visit place!

My photo doesn't do this place justice! Everything I have ordered here has been amazing--including the simple peanut butter honey toast I was craving in the photo. Best part is the super friendly service. Everyone is kind and menu items can be altered depending on your preferences. The breakfast burrito is to die for!

The coffee is hands down the best I’ve had in the Shoals area. My wife claimed it to be our new “coffee spot” when we want delicious coffee with a relaxed atmosphere. It’s truly like a vacation. The breakfast was served with the freshest mouth watering ingredients. We will be back over and over again to make sure we try every single item on the menu!
