Fire In The Hole Neapolitan Pizza

Some of the best pizza I've had. Tried a pepperoni pizza and a four cheese with roasted red peppers. The pizzas were thin but you have an option to choose different crust. Personally, I love the Neapolitan pizza. There are many options and toppings. Including dessert pizzas. Additionally, tried their canolis and it was also very good. The servers were friendly, knowledgeable and made the night a good one.

Wonderful food! The focaccia tower was fantastic, perfect balance of textures and flavors. They care immensely about the way they prepare their food, and I love the atmosphere. Nice low comfortable lighting even on a sunny day due the the window shades.

Will be coming back!

I've been wanting to go here every time I drive by i am going somewhere when I have time constraints. This time was the time. Saturday at noon is the best time! I got a chance to talk to Roger, who was cooking pizzas, and answered my questions about the pizza oven. It's beautiful and imported from Naples, Italy. They use oak wood, which is a perfect combination of heat and flavor. Madison waited on us, who answered our questions with graciousness and a smile. She is awesome.

We added hot sausage to the order with no regrets. I actually suggest it, especially if you like a little spicy. The pizza was very well done. The only beef was the middle part of the pizza, which was a little soggy. Wasn't a deal breaker since the great flavor dominated any downside. My suggestion is either put the oil on the side or reduce the toppings to ensure crispiness or ask for extra crispy. Ask Pizzaiolo for suggestions on having the crust crispy throughout. These are neopolitan pizzas that only take 5-8 minutes to cook that are thin crust and have some char. Good stuff.

The pizza is delicious and the atmosphere is elegant. The pizzas here are one of a kind and definitely worth a shot. I like to order my crust crispy, the pizzas will feed 2 people or 1 person with a big appetite.

Probably my most favorite thing about it is that it’s not greasy. The sausage stuffed jalapeños are excellent as well.

The cauliflower crust style is a personal size pizza but very good .
(I accidentally ordered double pepperoni)

Spoiler alert:This is not your typical cheap pizza that you order for family pizza night . You will need to order a few of them and you’ll need to have a palette for real ingredients.

Right off the bat the atmosphere is very elegant and very warming. The service was beyond excellent. And with all that said the Pizza was amazing. I've never had such unique dough anywhere! I one hundred percent recommend this place.

Fire in the Hole is one of the best restaurants of Palm Coast. Dinner specials every night, great food, and even better pizza. Servers are on top of you, ensuring you have what you need. My only concern is how busy will this place be as we go into snow bird season.

Every time we come here - everything is great! The food is outstanding (I have never had the same thing twice) and the service is wonderful. The ambiance is great for a serious conversation, or a hefty portion of laughter with friends. The food has always been right, and a great value for the experience.

From the moment we first walked in we felt welcome. I love the interior. It’s very clean and minimalist. We were greeted by the waitress and pizza cook. Speaking of cook, Let’s get to the food!!! Holy moly! We loved everything. This is our new favorite place in Palm Coast. It smelled so amazing, we decided to sample a lot of things. The stuffed jalapeños were homemade, fresh and delicious. We then tried the chipotle wings They were a nice size, perfectly crisp and well sauced. The sauce had a perfect amount of heat. As our mains we shared a panini with truffle fries and the calabrese pizza. I love the way they serve the panini kind of inside out. The pizza was OUTSTANDING. My fav part was the sauce, a lovely fresh flavor. Finally we had the Nutella pizza. Another winner. FYI the service was kind, helpful and attentive without being intrusive. It was so good we went back the next day with 8 of our friends. Thanks Roger and staff. See ya again soon.

My new favorite pizza restaurant! Opening night and we weren't disappointed. The salad was large, fresh and shared by two. Both balsamic and blue cheese dressings were flavorful. Pizza is cooked in a wood fire oven visible for all to see. Interesting menu choices too. We ordered a Margherita and 4 cheese. Delicious! Nothing compares to wood fire. Even the gelato didn't disappoint. Friendly staff, well organized and not one mishap on opening day!

The best pizza I have had in a very long time! We got thr hot sausage and rhe Apple crumb pizza. We came down to visit family and we wanted to come here for our anniversary. So very happy we did. Everything was amazing and the waitress was excellent! Everything came out fast and hot. Will definitely be coming here every time we are in town!!!!

Excellent wood grilled pizza in a strip mall, don’t be fooled by the unassuming exterior, inside you’ll think you are in the city. Very clean, nice bar, open wood oven. Quick service, and a great menu. Very fair wine prices. One pizza is good for two people if not too hungry. Large creative choice of pizzas, excellent thin crust with a nice wood fired char - you can specify how crispy you like the crust. Try the off menu hot oil.

The Pizza Boyz surprised the folks at Fire in the Hole with a second review appearance in just over a year. Having reviewed several pizza venues from the 32137 to St Augustine , the PBz had better context on this return trip. The OG4 review team added 3 celebrity reviewers to ensure good integrity of the ratings. All three have traveled the world tasting pizza offerings while one even grows his own dough cultures and has a coveted pizza making insights book. Kendra was unfazed by the enormity of the moment and delivered high end service as she does for all guests. The appie course chosen was a pepper sausage and cheese dish. The marinará it was served with didn't disappoint. The salad was outstanding with crips greens and even a whole artichoke. The dressing was a bit sweet for my taste but not a knock out. Finally, the main event.... Neapolitan dough pizza. So different from the ultra crispy NY crust but so tasty. We had 7 pies to die for and the winners on the podium were the DOP Margherita, the calabreses, and the outstanding white clam pizza. We believe FITH continues to improve and is a force in alt NY pizza arena in Palm Coast. Pizza Boyz awards FITH 9 slices🔥

We love this place! Food is always amazing, the service is fast and friendly, and the restaurant is always clean. We started with half price wine, love, and then 2 half salads and split a pizza. If you haven't tried this place yet, add it to the short list!!

Pizza was on point. Was waiting to try New Haven apizza clam pizza when I go up to CT next year but I saw their flyer on my inlaws fridge. I immediately dispatched my wife to go get a cheese and clam for us. Wish it was fresh out of the oven as being in the box made it somewhat soggy but was still excellent. My inlaw committed a pizza sin by removing the char off the crust. Shame on her.

NJ restauranteur relocated and makes an awesome wood fired destination. That’s the story line.
So Friday nite we had the most wonderful meal. Much of it was Kendra our bartender since we sat at the bar. She was responsive, fun and very informative. 1st time at the restaurant so that was useful. Good select of beers and drinks Inc. 6 taps?. Had some good hazy ipa’s.
DW had the chicken parmigiana on focaccia with fries. Excellent choice though she doesn’t eat much bread. I had the meatball sandwich with provolone and fries. Meatballs were awesome and bun was actually a pizza pita which was very thin pizza crust. Meatballs were some of the best I had and combined with the ‘bun’ it was a great meal. Kendra then pulled out her superpower(no not her great personality) her bartender skills. She made a tiramisu martini that was delicious.
All that great food and service brought us back for Saturday! After a long bike ride we needed chow. DW had the shaved steak on the pizza pocket and I had the meatballs appetizer with focaccia and a beet salad on spinach with blue cheese. Kendra served us well as the previous day and mike who was coming on supported her well. Food and drinks were great again! Don’t miss this restaurant!

We have had nothing but Amazing food at this new establishment. They haven’t been open long so I’m sure they are still working out the kinks. The pizza is so delish and you can tell the dough is very fresh! The owner makes amazing soups and the best New England clam chowder I have had anywhere in the area! The bartender Kendra is personable and makes you feel like family! We just love…love this place!

if you’re looking for solid wood fired pizza, this is the spot. quality in everything we ordered.

house salad was crisp and T:G:D ratio on point
(topping to greens to dressing ratio…duh)
however…NO CAESAR SALAD IS A CRIME...not even the dressing on premises?!

Absolutely the best pizza in Palm Coast. I’m living here almost 4 years from NY and I was making my own pizza until my sister and brother in law came down for a visit and tried it. Funny that it’s right down the block from me. This is now my go to place for pizza and the Arugula salad was fabulous. Ordering from here a lot for sure.

The pizzas are only 13 inches, so it's more of a personal type pizza. Excellent pizza, marsala meatballs and focaccia tower. Not a bad size menu for a new restaurant. Highly recommend, great service, great food.
