My husband and I love the way the restaurant looks and it was empty which was awesome. Very genuine staff, amazing prices. Delicious food and vegetable broth egg drop soup!

The food is excellent. I was actually surprised at how much better things tast here compared to other local restaurants of the same type.
It's clean, easy to access and was fine for a large family though a little more expensive then typical of its type, but in my opinion worth it.

Great lunch specials especially like the hot garlic broccoli, the place is clean and modern and the service was kind and even treated us to a couple of deserts!

Great Chinese food. Prices still reasonable and quick service.

Definitely a recommend in my book.

I've been coming here for a very long time and have never been disappointed. The food is absolutely amazing. It's a family owned business, and they take pride in their restaurant. They are incredibly nice and amazing.

Sometimes I get the Beef Broccoli and Rice with Egg Roll. DELICIOUS Also.

A hidden gem in Frederick in my opinion.

Peking Gourmet service has always been great and the food has always been what I wanted.

The first time I tried it I had the Orange Beef and was impressed by how tender it was. This was for delivery.

Because of how much I liked it I went on a day I was off and dined in by myself to see how the place felt. It has the classic “American Chinese restaurant” feel to it which I expected the white China plates with blue details etc etc.

Fantastic service, good sized portions, and great flavors. This place has become one of my favorite places for delivery during my work week. I had paid over the phone with my CC and told them I would tip cash, someone else signed for me and didn’t tell me they had arrived and let them leave without me giving a tip. The business called and asked if I had wanted to do a tip on my card and I had zero issue with them calling me. I appreciate their service and that didn’t bother me considering I wasn’t able to give him a cash tip.

The ownership has changed hands. We may actually see them re-open for dine in. The food was still excellent. If I recall from a conversation, one of the original owners is staying on as a chef. So the food you can still expect to be a banger. 10/10.

Wonderful, inviting decor. Food is delicious. I've never been disappointed with our meal. They start you with a pot of hot tea. Hot and sour soup is the best I've tasted. Love every dish I've tried there. Portions are generous. Take out is good too. The owners greet you and often serve you. Many repeat customers. Best Chinese in Frederick County.

My son and I went there for lunch this past Monday and not only was our food delicious, our server was WONDERFUL. She was absolutely adorable, attentive without being pushy, engaging without being intrusive and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I have picked up their food for take out numerous times but do not usually dine in for lunch--I've maybe dined in 5 times total in all of the years I have eaten there (and have ordered take out probably 30+ times) but out our server was so pleasant that I felt she warranted a review. I also think that they have the best egg drop soup in Frederick!

Pretty blown away with Peking Gourmet. Best Chinese in Frederick imo. Free delivery, fast and good customer service. Really liked the quality of the egg drop soup, hot & sour and general Tso.

They have the best dumplings i’ve ever had, I tried the Pork with hot garlic sauce and it was the best sweet and spicy combination i’ve had

Just got crispy beef and must say the first time in almost 30 since I've had it like this. Amazing. And very nice owners. I wish they were in ocean City MD

Have been there many times over the years along with many other local Chinese restaurants. They have some of the best crispy beef and hot and sour soup. Good portions. Reasonable prices. Have never had a bad meal there yet. I would recommend and will be back.

My bus came to stop here during trip to DC, and I stopped here. There was only one server, but the people from my bus filled the restaurant up! That server worked very hard to serve all of us. The food was very hot and good. Everything was perfect! (On top of our orders, I saw the kitchen was pumping out a lot of to-go orders, too. That impressed me a lot.) If I didn't live a couple hundred miles away, I'd come back! Good stuff.

Our go-to whenever we’re craving Chinese takeout (which is a little too often, I admit). Food is always consistently good and affordable and the family that runs the restaurant is friendly, efficient, and always gets things right. Thanks Peking Gourmet!

Delicious food delivered fast. My favorite dish is the Hunan Lamb; spicy, tasty made with fresh ingredients. And their steamed dumplings and sauce are really good too. Always friendly on the phone, too!

Absolutely wonderful! I stopped by when I realized my wife had never tried shrimp toast. Her reaction was, "Oh, my God!" It was so good we decided to have dinner and loved every delicious bite! I had the orange chicken. She had beef with snow peas. Both were outstanding!

Been eating here for over a decade. Never had a bad meal. Sometimes a little hectic, when they are at full capacity, but the owners are always pleasant, and they not only call us by name, but remember our favorite dishes!

I got take-out for lunch here last week and it was phenomenal. I ordered the sesame chicken lunch special and crab rangoons. The sesame chicken was average, but the fried rice was amazing and egg roll that came with the lunch combo was the best I've EVER had from chinese take out. The crab rangoons were also the best I've ever had form take out. I will be ordering again. Thanks Peking Gourmet for a great meal!

Great service and great food! Finally found a place that has great Chinese food in the area! Egg roll is one of the best I have had! Excellent won ton soup as well! We all got something different for lunch and all enjoyed everything!
