The minute clinic is great at this CVS location. Great Nurse Practitioners who are kind, friendly and professional. Got in and out for a TB test with no problems at all.

This was my first experience at a CVS Minute Clinic, and it was a good one.
I received just the help I needed from PA Loren Macias. I've had what I thought was an ear infection for almost a year. I'd seen doctors at two urgent care clinics and received antibiotic ear drops, but the problem never went away. Loren was able to confirm that my eardrums were intact, and it was just irritated skin on my ear canal. She took the time to show me a diagram of ear anatomy what was going on, and she also walked me the over-the-counter Hydrocortisone cream I needed. Three days later, my ears are cleared up and not bothering me at all. It's like a miracle!
I really appreciate Physician Assistants. They are so smart, caring, and are such good listeners. Loren exemplifies this.

Easy to schedule. Short wait. Honest practitioner who is not provided the resources of your typical GP. Don’t expect a doctors appointment. Do expect recommendations. Can receive referrals here. Genuinely helpful. Also…. The Minute Clinic is not the pharmacy. Get your flu shot at the pharmacy if you don’t want to wait like a doctors office.

Unlike the rest of the reviews, my experience was top notch. I made an appointment and filed in my medical info online. I waited about 3 minutes to see the nurse practitioner and she did a thorough job of treating me for an extensive rash. The NP was named Sude — can’t remember the last name. She was pleasant and competent.

Ok, not sure what's going on here - maybe some people just enjoy complaining - I don't know. My visit with Elizabeth was nothing short of exactly what I was expecting. In and out after 15 minutes with the solution to my problem expertly recognized and taken care of. Great bedside manner and professionalism all around. I would easily go back anytime I need a service like this. Don't be thrown by the other low ratings, this is a great place with great people.

I don't know what everyone else was on about, but I was very pleased with my visit, I felt heard and cared for and the doc was especially attentive to my financial needs, A+ 👍

Very timely and friendly. Went for an immunization and flu shot, unfortunately one of the shots hit a blood vessel and blood squirted out into the table. Really nothing serious but got a cute bruise. Very convenient!

If the nurse practitioner the first time I went wasn’t sooo nice they would have received a one or if possible a 0. I go in for an ear problem thinking it was an ear infection and the first nurse practitioner thought it was to so she gave me ear drops and told me if it doesn’t get better in two days come back.. of course it got sooo sooo much worse to the point I was almost waking up in tears. The second nurse practitioner does absolutely nothing for my pain and has an atttiude the whole time acting like I was a junky just coming to her for pain medicine. Both times I paid my “25 dollar copay..” which is what they both said it was and charged me for..come to find out it was a 35 dollar co pay plus I had to pay for the strep test that they gave me twice even though I told the second practitioner the first one already tested me and it came back negative..and yes I realize strep test can take a few days to show up whatever that’s cool but I shouldn’t be charged for coming back and a second strep test because yall could not figure out what is wrong with me! Finally was able to get in with my actual doctor and was able to be cured within a day of going to an actual doctors office. All in all, I would never come back to this Minute clinic or any other one because all they want is your money..they can’t even tell you your going to be charged for the strep test or anything they have been just taking money out of my account and out of my parents account for the past two weeks with no explanation for it and we will be getting to the bottom of this!!

Flu shot process/booking seemed a bit more involved than needed— and I could have done without the minute clinic worker being condescending to me. I get it— the gig can be tough, but no need to talk down to someone.

I rarely give a negative review and I understand all minute clinics are super hectic. But I literally called ahead to see if they had the new Covid vaccine and was told yes. I tried to make an online appointment and it wouldn’t let me bc it said go as a walkin for this vaccine. I go in and the person ignores me entirely. I stand there long enough and she tells me to make an appointment. I must’ve looked super confused bc she pointed me to a tablet. I filled it out, but couldn’t find the vaccine I needed. I asked for help and she said “it’s right there” and told me bluntly to move. I said oh, I need the new one. She said Pfizer is what we have and walked away. I have never felt to be made so stupid and ignored in a minute clinic. Just telling me politely would have been fine, I understand. It’s that I called ahead (didn’t speak to this woman so clearly there’s a link missing somewhere) was told just come in we have it, then got there within business hours and was totally shut down by this person in a very blunt and rude way.i will definitely never go to a minute clinic again— it’s not worth it and clearly there’s no communication between the minute clinic and the pharmacy and the store as a whole.

I went here to get a physical including glucose and cholesterol levels and it was a complete waste of time. The machine was faulty and gave my husband and I readings that were literally off the chart. So much so that the form wouldn’t even accept the number at all. We went to our GP immediately after to have a new test run and got completely normal results. This visit was a complete waste of time - it took over an hour for this, but only 5 minutes walking into UNC Family to get the same test. In addition, the sanitation practices were terrible. The NP never washed her hands, didn’t change the paper after the previous patient, etc. I ended up with a cold after visiting. We will definitely not be back.

Okay this was an incredibly annoying experience for a flu shot that took 3 minutes. I had a 4 pm appt and they didn't take me until 5 pm...why have appointment times if they mean nothing? That was the longest and most annoying flu shot experience I have ever had... unfortunately my insurance required me to go to the minute clinic to get my flu shot...and I went on a random Tuesday afternoon...I shudder to think of the wait times on the weekend...avoid at all costs...

OK- full disclosure- I am a physician. Here is my suggestion, if you post your clinic hours as open until 7:30 PM, that should mean you accept patients until 7:30 pm, not that if they walk in at 7:15 they cannot be seen for a rapid strep throat swab because the NP had to do a full PE and that takes 20 minutes. BTW, I cannot imagine that a full PE by my definition would have been done. Takes less than 5 minutes to get a history, take a temp, look in the throat and do a swab. Please change your advertised hours- very misleading.
