10/10 RECOMMEND 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I absolutely loved this coffee shop! The decor gives it so much charm and character. I also loved speaking with the owner who was so kind and helpful when picking out a beverage! I’m a fan of old preserved buildings and caffeine and Portico Coffee did not disappoint! The atmosphere is inviting and calm, it’s the perfect place to meet a friend or get some work done. I also love that it’s in the Northside area! Such a cool place!!

Really cool coffee shop that just feels like you're in someone's home, which creates a cozy vibe. Parking is a little limited, but definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a new hangout spot.

We got the fig brown sugar and date rosemary lattes, both were excellent, subtle flavors and not overly sweet. The shop is cozy and quiet, plenty of indoor seating, free wifi if you want to do work. There's also plenty of both covered and uncovered outdoor seating. Everything about it is local - the owner grew up in the neighborhood, the baked goods are from nearby businesses, even the wall murals are by a local artist. Wonderful new find for us!

This place is an amazing little coffee shop! The drinks were amazing and he had just pulled freshly baked coffee cake from the oven that was so fluffy and delicious! I highly recommend going here.

Family owned and operated quaint coffee shop. I could tell the owner was a real coffee connoisseur and he custom makes exotic syrup flavors. (They are delicious) You have to try this place!

I was looking for a secluded coffee style set up to study at. I usually spend about 2-3 hours in one sitting studying, so I needed an area that would help me concentrate on my work. There are four different sections/areas where customers can choose their environment depending on their occasion, which is nice for me!! I prefer small tables so I can do independent work, but this shop also has larger tables for group hang outs. Very nice lighting and peaceful atmosphere. First time having a latte, and it’s absolutely amazing! Nice job Noble, keep up the amazing work!

I was visiting DFW for a few days and am so glad that I stopped for coffee here.

The service was excellent, the coffee was delicious (I got a latte), and the ambiance was cozy and vibrant. The coffee shop is on the bottom floor of a lovely historic building and the lighting and decor inside makes the space perfect for meeting with friends or enjoying a cup of coffee alone. In addition, there is a beautiful outdoor area with a community garden and a fenced-in space for kids to run around and play. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be coming back anytime I’m in the area.

Great little hidden gem! I work from home and like to work at coffee shops sometimes for a change of scenery. I was so happy I decided to give this place a try! Very quiet, calming place to work and/or study. The barista was very kind and the coffee was great! Very cool atmosphere, as it’s in an old house which is super cool. Some tables for individual work or couches to catch up and talk with friends :)

- Great selection of beverages with barista/owner's personal touch on the seasonal specialties. (I tried the Jasmine Bergamot Iced Americano - I love jasmine. I love Bergamot. I love tea. I drink coffee. But never together! Who knew the subtle but the sweet aroma would pair so well together!)
- Sorry, I didn't get to try the baked goods. Next time!
- And yes, parking is limited, but there's plenty of street parking.

What a cute little coffe shop. Unassuming but a great gem, warm & inviting space in a preserved historic location that I stumbled into while visiting in the area. Felt like I stepped into a loved one's living room/kitching space and it reminded me of my FIL's deli in a sleepy town where friends & neighbors gather to connect, where ideas are born, and you walk out with a smile on your face. Being there and chatting with the owner, I got the vibe that he's all about "doing small things with great love!" He has a beautiful vision & dream for this space to be a gathering place for the community! Yes, may it be so! Every big dream starts with a small step!

So excited to find this place! Not many coffeeshops in the area so Portico is definitely a gift! The flavors are subtle and exquisite, the rosemary and date latte was very enjoyable. The owner is a very pleasant individual and enjoyed chatting with him. The space is very cute and does honor to the older house it is located.

So I have been here about 4 times in d past n now recently I have been informed of the changes this establishment has taken!!! This place/owner needs our support to keep this business operating!!!! The owner's menu has a variety of coffee, cappuccino, latte n more. Nobody would like a peaceful location like this to shut down......d owner also rents his place as an air bnb...

Stopped by Portico after a friend recommended it and it does not disappoint. I got the fig brown sugar latte and it was a perfect blend of flavors not being too sweet at all.

The building is a beautiful old house that has a great patio and they had live music going. I’ll definitely be coming back here to work or enjoy time with friends.

We like to stop at a local coffee shop before heading home on trips. This one did not disappoint. The owner was very welcoming and coffee was great. If you want to stay for a while enjoy the comforts of retro and quirky interior.

This is an amazing coffee shop. The owner really knows his stuff. I love the quaint sections to sit and enjoy your coffee. I loved that he took the time to sit and visit with me and my daughter, and shared his knowledge about the craft. Make sure f you’re in the area to try it. 😊😊

Every independently owned coffee shop has its own style, its own product line and its own atmosphere. For a newly opened one, this location has just the right feel and location, somewhat close to the Stockyards.

It wouldn't surprise me to see this place have a greater customer volume as business picks up and word continues to get out about this place which has just the right selection of drinks and additions on the menu and a friendly barista on staff. I hope they can soon expand their hours of operation to go into the evening hours so that while in town I can stop by and give a good mom and pop location my business frequently.

Very neat place! Loved the vintage decor and the art work. Nice sections of seating, great service, friendly atmosphere, and delicious food and drink! Looking forward to going back on a warmer day to enjoy the lovely outdoor set up too. If you haven’t tried it you should!
