Mountain Monet

My mother and I decided to spend an afternoon making earring for her. She wanted earrings earring that did not require a separate back. We had so much fun picking through a tremendous selection of findings, beads and gems. She made five pairs! This was a perfect mother/daughter outing. We want to bring our family members back and challenge our creativity. Highly recommend visitors consider the same😊

My husband and I had such a wonderful time visiting this place that we went back for seconds! We adored the atmosphere, the people, as well as the pieces & creativity being celebrated. It felt like a family gathering and made our honeymoon that much more special. We created memories we will never forget and we look forward to having our pieces delivered soon. Thank you ♥

Beware this place is addictive! I lived in McCall for 6 years and drove by Mountain Monet nearly every day and always thought I would try it, but it took coming back as a visitor to actually go. I found that painting pottery was extremely zen and ended up visiting three days in a row for several hours (bringing more people with me each day). Staff was friendly and helpful. Prices were extremely good, and they ship if you aren't local or staying long enough for the pieces to be fired in the kiln. I'm thankful I didn't start going when I lived there or I would be broke (but with a house filled with pottery). The mosaics and fused glass looked fun, too! Highly recommended!!!

Other than the building being cramped and the high shipping costs, it's a great place with a good selection of things to paint and paints! I made a pastel moose (deer?) And a mug of my cat starla hah.

Edit: Revisited since I was in town again! They cleared up all the boxes and such, staff was just as nice as before. Other than some of the paint example tiles being missing (because they were accidentally broken)

My family and I had such a fun time at mountain monet, picking out what projects we were going to paint. The shop had so many ppl laughing and enjoying there time, the lady's that work there are so nice and friendly. Can't wait to take my family back.

So many options for crafts that you can do. My daughter and I had so much fun!

We went to mountain Monet and loved the friendliness of the manager! She is so sweet and helped us out a lot! We let her know we couldn't do the project and mail it to ourselves, so she finished firing our ceramic pieces before we had to leave! It was a fun project and something we can keep forever. I'll post pictures of our works as soon as I can.

Great place to spend an afternoon. Sydney was extremely helpful and was great with our little one. We will be back. Only advice. Actively greet customers who come in and don't know how the whole process works. Once we broke the ice it felt like family.

Had an enjoyable experience with my daughter and grandchildren. Bought wonderful porcelains to take home and paint. Alex was super friendly with my grandchildren and made the experience of Henna and Glitter tattoos entertaining.

Friendly and helpful place to do a multitude of fun creative pottery, glass or bead projects! Thoroughly enjoyed sharing the experience with grandchildren and applaud the thoughtfulness of the owner who went out of her way to make things work out for us!

Wonderful experience! Patience was very helpful and had such a great attitude and enthusiasm for her job! We just adored her!
