Slym's

Slyms BBQ is the best BBQ around. In my opinion, it's even better than Whitts. I know Slym and his wife, as they come in to where I work, and they are always so nice and friendly. (And Slym is funny, always making jokes lol) Me and my friend just bought 2 lbs, and we finna tear it up!! Lol

The food was hands down delicious! The bbq, baked beans and special hot bbq sauce was so tasty and better than anything we’ve had in a long time. Great service with a family charm. We will be back!

Friendliest people you'll ever meet. And the food is the best around. If you haven't tried them yet you better get on down there. You won't regret it. Also catering options available.

I live nowhere near this place, passing thru & we stopped. It was a "hole in the wall" offa highway. Blink and you may miss it.. but we were greeted in a friendly manner & given options... Unfortunately, all available was BBQ the chicken had just been flipped & wasn't ready. It was about 4p so I'm not sure if earlier time would be better, but the price & portion of meat is damn good!!
Their sauces (2) both are perfection.
Potato salad was fire too, different than I've had..
And just the spirit & good food vibe from those 2 was enough itself!! They have passion in the BBQ bizz!!!

They had sold out when I arrived and was technically closed for the day. This friendly gentleman walked outside and said that he just got done smoking some chicken he would sale me. I heard good things about the BBQ here and finally had an opportunity to stop in and jumped at the chance to try it. 😀 He asked me if i wanted a plate and i said SURE! He heated up some baked beans and asked me if I wanted some potato salad to go with it. Sounded great and just having rotator cuff surgery i was all for having a BBQ chicken dinner since all I would be having for the next several weeks is microwaveable meals lol.
Although he was closed he went through the trouble of fixing me a plate and let me tell you, it was the best BBQ chicken I had in a very long time!!
He told me that he was smoking some BBQ for tomorrow and he asked me for my name and number and would call when it was done. I received a call a few minutes ago letting me know that the BBQ was ready!
You can't find service like this any more where they make you feel like you are family. Thank you for your hospitality and such friendly service! If I could give 10 stars I would!!

Best Pulled pork ive had in a long while. Cornbread is great and the coleslaw is too. Will be recommending to my friends and family!
