Bronx House Pizza - Hammock Beach

WOW!!! We were incredibly impressed. For a pizza shop, this place is a 9/10. If they had a homemade ranch I’d give it a 10/10. Environment is beautiful and chill, and food is phenomenal. The pizza has a fresh flavor, the sauce is perfect, the crust oh my gosh, it’s perfectly crispy but melts like a cracker in your mouth. I can’t get over how delicious this place is. And to top it off, the dessert was so good. The Canoli was crispy and flavorful and the raspberry cheesecake is to die for!!!! We ordered a Sanitation Department pizza, Salad, Raspberry Cheesecake and a Canoli. We will 100000% be back. Might even eat here for dinner.

Great food. We ordered an appetizer but it was forgotten. Cauliflower crust pizza was the best I've had!

To be honest I didn't expect anything special from a pizzeria, but it turned out to be very nice, clean and tasty. We took bruschetta and Detroit pizza. Bruschetta was tastier than I expected, it felt like the chefs really tried hard on the recipe. I was also very pleased with the open kitchen and the backyard of the restaurant.

The atmosphere, the italian flag pasta, the hot 97 pizza pie all EXCEPTIONAL! Hands down best food we’ve ever had, and the most beautiful landscaping and outdoor area I’ve ever seen at a restaurant! This place knows what they’re doing!

Food was amazing. We had the BH garlic knots, burrata (delicious twist with the strawberry compote), chicken parm, & chocolate mousse cake. Can't wait to go back!

Cool place, live outdoor music I hear on Fri. and Sat. Service is very good.. food is very good.. Except my calzone was burnt.. it didn't taste as bad as it looks. But I wouldn't send something like that out..

I went here to meet Vanilla Ice and watch his performance. This place is very nice. The pizza is awesome as well as the calzone. Has a nice little bar in there and plenty of tables. Also has an outside area in the back to eat and have shows. Has a fire pit also back there. Next time I'm on A1A, I'm stopping here again.

Great time last night outside under the trees & stars, with beer, pizza & Soul Fire band. Fantastic.

There is inside dining & on the porch. That is nice but often crowded. Last night the outside area was also open. There you order drinks & pizza from two food trucks. Everything is made right there. No need to go inside at all.

Where do I start!!! This place is so amazing from friendly service to the mouth watering yummy selection of dishes, chicken Marsala has been my favorite, the pizza well it’s the best!! Hot 97 is my personal fav!!! Garlic knots like nothing anywhere else!! oh and it’s not complete without a skooda hooo my favorite from the bar!! Go enjoy maybe I’ll see ya there!! It can be a bit like cheers!

I watched a band out back. Very comfortable relaxing area. 2 food trucks. One has a wood fired pizza oven and the other is a full service bar. Never had to go inside the restaurant. Had a couple of drinks and some delicious pizza.
Have to admit Im a little biased. My band, Blues Therapy also plays here.
Enjoy it so much Ive come back several times to see other bands.
Plenty of varied seating out back from cocktail tables to picnic tables.
Check it out on a Friday or Saturday when theres live music.
This review concerns only the outside backyard area.
Ive yet to go inside the restaurant.

Ordered a make your own pizza with 3 ingredients and a sweet tea. Pizza was cooked to perfection. Want to try some other menu choices.

They have their own Parking lot but its a little tight. Place was crowded on a Friday so you know its good.

Went back again. Love this place. Ppl so nice. Got the Haymaker pizza. Who could pass up something with bacon jam! Was so good.

Went back and got their lasagna. Holy smokes was this stuff good and they gave you a nice size serving to boot. Some of the best I've had.

Back again and tried the Fredo. Really good pasta dish. The sauce is delicious and not real creamy like some alfredo. Coulda used a little more ham.

Back again and got my favorite...Dept of Sanitation with banana pepper. Best pizza around.

Wowzers! That deep dish 🍕 pizza - that pepperoni 🍕 that 🥓 bacon jam - I just can’t even put into words how good this was almost like a lasagna and deep dish had a baby and add the bacon jam. We got bacon jam on the side not sure what I would think - trust Bronx house pizza they know what they are doing with these combinations holy cow was that something my palate has never danced like that with those flavors in my 50 years. Get the deep dish and get excited when you try this. Wow just amazing we will be back and be bringing our family back!!!I need to try the garlic knots the next time cause they looked heavenly and we did get an app of mild wings which were good.

They say it's in the water💧... guess what, it really is. I've never had pizza 🍕 with imported New York water as a key ingredient. Bronx House made a believer out of me immediately after my first few bites. The Detroit Pan Pizza, garlic knots, and custom salads 🥗 are spectacular. I'm excited to try the other menu items as well. The staff & cooks are exceptional at this new establishment and go out of their way the ensure the customer has an excellent dining experience. The atmosphere and location have a cool laid back vibe and are not in the hustle and bustle commercial district either. Do yourself a favor and go give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

Took a break from going here for about 8 months due to over eating there. Our return experience was a 10 out of 10. The Hammock Salad, garlic rolls, and off menu specialty pizza were excellent. MacKenzie waited on us and was outstanding 👏.

I'm usually not into franchise restaurants, so I'm glad I ventured outside of my comfort zone and checked out this place. The Bronx House at the Hammock is awesome! It's got a classy, rustic atmosphere with a nice bar, (I like eating at the bar). The staff is magnificent and the food is great, including their gluten free pizza on a cauliflower crust, (shown in my pics).

The food was amazing! We ordered the lasagna ball appetizer which was really good!
We ordered a specialty pizza that was truly amazing! We love the NY style pizza. We suggest asking for their hot honey sauce on the side. This was the first time trying hot honey drizzled on a pizza and it was a complete game changer!

Walked in with high expectations being from the inner city in the Bronx. I've seen my share of pretend NY pizza. Not here!! It blew me away! But man oh man, those freakin' garlic rolls!! Stole the show for me!! All around the food was excellent! Also had the Italian sandwich and it was amazing in Flav! Good job carrying the Bronx torch and actually elevating it! Oh, ashout out to the service! And the meatballs! Eat the meatballs!

Been here several times , it's always great food and awesome service. Last night I tried the lasagna and it didn't disappoint. They have a great business model amd execute it flawlessly. Well done Bronx House. Only minor issue which I'm not even sure is fixable is the parking. Not many spots,usually have to park on A1A or across the street.
