Dan's Smokehouse Jerky

Dan has something special out there in Peaster! I had a great conversation with him. It was awesome to hear the history of his business and how he has grown it into the awesome place that it is now. My dad is an avid hunter. He will definitely be sending his kills there from now on. And, if you like Jerky, it's some of the best I've had. I will definitely be back to visit with Dan and get some more Jerky.

I challenge anyone to be to find a better beef jerky. This stuff is the real deal.

If you were to go through my car, you’d probably 3 or 4 empty packages of Dan’s X-Treme Hot jerky. It’s spicy but not so much that you’ll need a glass of milk to wash it down. The cuts are perfect; not too thick, not too thin. The flavor is succulent, smoky, and satisfying. It’s dry, like a jerky ought to be, but it isn’t hard as rock and impossible to eat, and if you’re lucky, you’ll get a piece with a little fat on it that melts in your mouth like butter. Perfect for some quick protein on a long road trip, or simply is a smoky treat.

The only complaint I can think to make is that they don’t offer other meat jerky; venison, elk, buffalo. Hell, if they smoked and dried a strip of armadillo, I’d try it! 10/10

This is my all time favorite jerky!! This stuff is the real deal, never getting jerky anywhere else. Also Dan is such a nice guy!!

Incredible service, incredible people. I have used a wide variety of processors. Dan's is hands down the best there is. It would be hard for me to remember a business of any kind that showed this much effort and hospitality to their customers. Do not hesitate to use this family for your processing needs. You will not regret it.

Their jerky is the best I've ever had! I also use them for all my wild game processing. They are a small family owned company, run by honest people who treat you like you are one of their own. Because they sell jerky to the public, they are a State Health Dept. inspected shop, so you know they run a clean facility. They always do a great job, at a very fair price; with a quick turnaround time. Standard processing is great, and so are their specialty items like the deer sticks and sausages. 10/10! Wouldn't use anyone else!

Love those beef sticks from Dan's smokehouse! I could eat them everyday. My family has used them for deer processing for years and couldn't be happier with them. You can rest assured, knowing that you're getting YOUR deer which is hard to come by these days.

This is the best beef jerky I've ever had! Before you put a piece in your mouth, you can tell this is different by just seeing the pieces. This is not your usual beef all the other manufacturers use. Dan uses a cut of USDA beef no other manufacturer uses and that's the secret to why his is far better than the others and truly a gourmet snack. No sense in buying a few packages - better get a case because you'll save on shipping that way! Low carb, high protein,no sugar, no MSG. Chew on this for snacks and you'll lose a few pounds!

Amazing jerky! Can't wait to try our Apple Butter and home grown pickles. Very friendly service and the cutest shop with candles, soaps and more!
