Each time I visit Madison, this is the one shop I won't skip visiting. They have a large variety of soaps, creams, essential oils, etc, to select from. High quality at reasonable prices and friendly service! I recently ordered from their online store for the first time and they were kind enough to send a couple samples with my order. I definitely recommend Fountain Alley Body Care!

Love this store! I use the soaps, oils, facial moisturizer, cleanser, and cream, and candles. I also tried and liked the shampoo bar. The bug spray is the best and works so well. We went hiking in the thick of the bugs while in the mountains, used this product, and did not get a single bite. I use it on my kids, and it does not have harsh chemicals, and actually smells good. It really does work! Their products are wonderful and clean.

I absolutely love your products. I live in Michigan and I travel to the flower shop in Vevay just to purchase your soap ❤ I stock up an buy about 6 bars whenever I'm in town to visit family. My favorite is your charcoal and lava soap please don't ever stop making it

Great little shop! Prices are good and the store is very organized and clean. The soap bar I bought smells amazing, and the spray for dogs I got definitely works well.

I discovered Fountain Alley several years ago during my visit to Madison for a leisure trip. The owner is outstanding! I fell in love with her products. I am very strict about what goes on and in my body. If you are looking for natural ingredients using essential oils then look no further. I live a couple hours away and I utilize the online services having my goods shipped to my home. I use the facial wash, facial cream, regeneration oil and all different soaps. It is well worth it buying products made locally here in the USA and you know what is in the product. I hope they are in business for ever!

I love getting my soap, moisturizing bars and lip balm here. Everything always smells and works great. I love matching scents and a lot of the soaps have matching lotions and/or moisturizing bars. The prices are also better than anything I have found online that I would personally feel comfortable purchasing. The quality and care that shows from how their soaps are made is what keeps me coming back. Everything else is a bonus! My personal favorites are Citrus Sunshine and Patchouli.
If you are thinking about trying one of their products, you won't be disappointed!

It's a cute little shop with lots of varieties of bar soap. Eco friendly packaging is a plus and the bars are pretty cute as well

I cannot say enough about Fountain Alley. I visited once in February 2020 and have been buying and recommending their products ever since! Would recommend anything , including and especially the men's beardy/body products. My hubs loves them (and they smell really freaking good).

What an amazing little bath and body beauty shop! If I lived closer I'd frequent here often! A lot of natural products, handmade by the owners. Good vibes and good stuff. Great for yourself and great for gifts.

My sister introduced me to this small businesses soaps recently and I fell in love immediately! We’re both local to Madison so we try our best to shop at the small businesses in town. When you walk into the shop, you’re immediately met with a very kind, helpful employee and the soothing scent of the various soaps in the store. I had no trouble finding something for myself and other loved ones. If you’re shopping for a gift while in downtown, this is definitely a place to stop at! The prices are fair and affordable. Not to mention the quality is unmatched. You will definitely notice a huge difference after just one shower. I hope to see this business continue to grow in the future!

The shampoo bar is a total game changer! I have used it twice and my hair is shiny and soft AND you do not need conditioner AT ALL! Fountain Alley is amazing with a wonderful staff. I have been using their soap for months because it is also amazing and it lathers up wonderfully! The shea butter is amazing too. Not greasy at all and it keeps your skin buttery soft! I cannot say enough about this little shop! They are amazing!

My daughter introduced me to this company many years ago and I've ordered several times throughout the years, always satisfied. The soaps are a subtle indulgence. Super sensitive to scents I'm picky about what I put on my face and body, I've found every product I've had opportunity to purchase to be agreeable with my sensitivity. The facial cleanser and moisturizer I've found to be especially delicate and soothing. Living some hours away from Madison recently I had opportunity to visit the store, and I'm so glad I did, what a treat for my senses. I found the store owners to be welcoming and the store absolutely fabulous. Having the opportunity to sniff around I was able to branch out from some of my usual go-to's and picked up some new soaps, I've not been disappointed. My visit into the store just further solidified what my nose has been telling me all along. Fountain Alley is head to toe quality.

This place is amazing, truly. Any time my husband and I are in the area, we swing by and stock up. Their soap is the only bar soap I will buy, and the only kind my husband likes. It has the most luxurious lather. I have ridiculously sensitive skin, and this works wonders. We live in Cleveland and will take a detour to stop in, and I order online if we run out. That should tell you how great their products are. The prices are great, the selection is wonderful, the customer service is phenomenal, and the ethics of the company are spot on. I love their butterfly conservation program and they only use sustainable palm oil (saving orangutans one bar of soap at a time!) I would encourage anyone who is in Madison to pop in.

Fantastic soap! Lather up great. The fragrances (or maybe a better term Aroma) , which are achieved with essential oils (nothing artificial, and great for people who are sensitive) are wonderful and last very well. Only soap I use for hair and body, and it never dries my skin or hair out. Highly recommend them.

I could spend hours in this store smelling all the scents. We visited on Saturday and bought the all-natural bug spray to use on Sunday. I even bought extras for gifts. :)

I am originally from Cincinnati and I loved driving out to Madison to get the natural soaps from Fountain Alley. I now moved to Florida and it's still all I will use! I always receive my order super fast and I am never disappointed. Such an amazing company with wonderful products <3

This is a quaint little store in the historic river town of Madison, Indiana. My husband and I went around the various shops and stopped inside Fountain Alley because I had purchased their products before from a store they consign through. Their products are top notch, hand/home made and are well worth the price. I enjoy their soaps and candles as gifts to give as well as to keep for myself. They have soap for those who enjoy fishing - it takes away the fishy scent from your hands as well as those who deer hunt - it takes away your scent so deer can't smell you. They also have creams and salts for baths and much more. Their variety is impressive for a small business. My favorites are their Pumpkin soap and candle, Apple Jack candle, Frankincense and Myrrh soap, and Indian Summer soap. They also work with wildlife which is something I value as a consumer. Great products for handmade. They have multiple types of soaps and candles. They had a face wash for adults that is highly recommended over the big name products where you spend four times the price for their products compared to here. Highly recommend for anyone looking for unique soaps and body care.
