This is a great place to get beef, pork, or chicken! It is an Amish owned business with great prices.The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. You won't find a better place to purchase your meat.

This morning about a mile away my hog decided to loose her cool and completely throw herself and cage from the trailer. I called them and told them what was going on. They not only came out and assisted with rounding her up but helped find someone who had a enclosed trailer to help get her the rest of the way. After an hour in the pouring rain in random peoples yards chasing this hog I was ready to just give up all hope, and they saved the day and were so completely kind.

Quality and prices are very good, the place is very clean, customer service is excellent. Last time I went there, they cut up a long beef bone into sections for my dog. (He loves 'em!) At the same time, they were cutting another beef bone for someone who was making soup. We both specified the size and were very satisfied. These folks are great!

We had been hearing about Horst Meats quality for the last several years and yesterday we decided to pay them a visit. If you are looking for the freshest highest quality meats at reasonable prices this is place. The only regret is that we didn't visit Horst Meats sooner. The market was easy to find and well worth the drive to the country. Last night, we cooked the hamburger we had purchased on the grill and it was delicious. You can definitely taste the difference. No more grocery store meat for us! Horst Meats just gained a regular customer.

Very helpful service. I placed a large order for an event at our church, his suggestions for amounts to feed 250 people were very accurate. I felt he went out of his way to make sure we were going to have a successful meal.

I had a fairly large curbside order and the actually loaded it into my vehicle. The order was was great as was the product. All cut to specifiation on a phone order and price was good too. What elase could you ask for 😎. I was there once again today and the staff is just Soo friendly even if when you are unsure of what quantity etc you want. I was getting mixed bones for bone broth and it is my first time so I had no idea how many of what to get and the butcher hooked me right up with an excellent mix of bones.

You won’t find a cleaner butcher shop period. I have been going here for a few years and the service is always great. They have a wide range of meats and cheeses and I especially love their baked City ham and ring bologna that they make themselves. Stop by and give them a try, it’s always fresh and a fair price.

This is the best meat market in this area. The selection is outstanding and the service is top notch. The butchers at this store will custom cut to your specifications and have it ready in mere moments. Additionally, the staff is very friendly and courteous. I just wish they were open longer hours.
