Mike Graci Music Lessons

Arda is a great guitarist I have learned so much from him. He has lots of patient for a person just starting to learn how to play a guitar at 63 years old. My plan is to come back next year to finish up.

My children take piano with Jennifer and drums with Garrick, and they’re both absolutely wonderful instructors! The kids have come so far in only one year and they’re really enjoying playing. The instructors do a great job at keeping the kids interested and keeping it fun while learning.

Came across this school when I first moved to Charlotte almost 2 years ago. Awesome teacher (shout out to Jennifer) and tailored my journey to what I wanted most out of the lessons. I highly recommend anyone wanting to take individual lessons to give Mike Graci Music a call. You wont be disappointed.

This is a phenomenal place to take guitar lessons! The staff are very nice and it’s very clean inside.

I started learning how to play the acoustic guitar this May and GK has been a wonderful teacher. He’s very knowledgeable and has a passion for music that shows through our lessons. Anyone would do well to learn how to play the guitar here.

I have really enjoyed my guitar lessons here with GK! I’ve been wanting to learn the guitar forever but I’ve never managed to get over the initial mundane aspects of being a beginner on my own. GK has made our lessons super engaging by picking songs that I enjoy and are both attainable but interesting. I’ve been taking lessons here for about two months now and something has FINALLY clicked where I’m excited to learn and practice guitar thanks to GK’s help! Definitely would recommend!

I’ve been taking guitar and vocal lessons at MGM for nearly a year now. Zac Robins has been teaching me from my first lesson until now. He has been a phenomenal instructor for both vocals and guitar. If you’re on the fence about starting guitar or vocal lessons, let this be your sign- look no further!! You won’t regret working with Zac and the staff here at MGM- genuine people all-around. I am extremely grateful that I found Mike Graci Music. Felix ( Drum Instructor), is awesome. It is obvious that he takes the time to pre-plan the lessons, focusing on continued improvement. He provides continuous feedback. He also provides techniques and exercises that help overcome hurdles.

My daughter began playing guitar with a very talented classical guitar teacher in Greensboro. When we moved to Charlotte, we began looking for a new place for her to continue learning. We found Mike Graci’s and have been so happy with the establishment and her teachers there! She has been with Zac Robins for a year now, and he is beyond phenomenal! He sees her strengths and teaches her to play to them, helping her to find her own unique voice as a musician. He also sees where she needs more work—encouraging her, and giving her tailored exercises to help her grow as a guitar player and singer. She has bloomed as an artist with Zac as her teacher! Really have enjoyed my lessons here! I am a total newbie to music and GK is super patient and breaks things down so it is easy to understand. Each lesson is tailored to the student and there is no pressure to be perfectly perfect.

I am an experienced, older drummer and I just completed a three-month series of lessons with Mike. I've been playing live gigs since the 70s, and just wanted to get "back to basics" and improve my hands a bit. Mike helped me through a series of exercises to further develop stick control along with some foot work. It was great working with Mike. I feel a bit more confident in my playing (even my wife noticed I sounded smoother...). Thanks Mike- So, if you are an experienced drummer just looking for a little "push" to get a little better, Mike can help you. He helped me!

Music school for our son Paul we weren’t sure how he would get on as he is a bit shy. Paul loves his music lessons and the change in him has been amazing. I will start my review by mentioning that me and my husband were looking for guitar lessons for our 6years old daughter when a friend of ours recommended Mike Graci, in Matthews. We live in South Charlotte, so Matthews is not that far from us. We talked to them and let me say that Mike’s proactively proposed us some days and hours, and the communication was very professional, in general. We are going there for half a year now and we are pleased to confirm that we are delighted by our daughters progress. She loves learning to play the guitar and Mrs. Jennifer is wonderful. Whenever we miss a lesson, we do a make up lesson afterwards. Overall I want to recommend you all Mike Graci’s music lessons. We have had a very good experience so far and we are continuing. 👍😉

My son has been taking drum lessons from Mike for at least 8 years. Mike is great with kids, and now that my son is a teen is awesome with all that brings! They have a strong relationship and my son respects him. I have seen great improvement throughout the years in my son's abilities. Mike runs a very professional business. Appointments are kept and run on time. If there is a need for change on my end or his due to scheduling, he is easy to work with. My son has had lessons with other instructors that work with Mike and he really likes them as well. I highly recommend Mike Graci Music Lessons to anyone brand new to music, or those who are trying to go to the next level.

My daughter 9 years old has been taking piano and vocal courses with Mrs. Jennifer for three years and my son 6 years old has been taking drum with Mr. Robert for one year.

I am really satisfied with the courses’ flexibility, the instructors’ passion and consistency.

I started going here about 2 weeks and I love it! The teachers are very patient and show that they are in no rush.

My two sons are really enjoying their lessons at Mike’s studio. We take piano and guitar with Doug who is amazingly patient and enthusiastic with both kids. He’s highly trained and really knows how to make learning fun! This is a studio that understands kids can begin learning instruments at a young age. My boys are 6 and 7. Very relaxed welcoming atmosphere, definitely recommend these skilled musicians.
